Ballooning is better than edging, especially for shifting gains in gear, on top of stretches and jelqs, IMO.

Ok so basic time is one variable , the use of kegels and rk is another variable and using pe techniques within edging another (this is an advanced method).
In the pe techniques section I would be particularly about clamped edging.

I started edging for stamina now im going to start a routine with only edging to see if i can achieve gains. Just finished a 20 minute session. Starting at 6.5nbpel 5eg. I will do 2 sessions 5 days a week for at least a month. I will add kegels, rks and maybe some stretching. In the future i will add Ulis. I will try to update in 30 days.

There was a Japanese study on this (not ejaculating - rather than edging) a few years ago. There was a sharp spike in testosterone levels about 7 days after last ejaculation, IIRC, that returned to baseline and stayed there for remainder of study. Basically, there's no long term testosterone benefit. Edging does indeed raise testosterone levels during and shortly after the session. Personal experience here: my free testosterone levels are normally at about 135-140 pg/ml. I decided to do a quick edge before a blood draw last fall and my levels were at about 180 pg/ml.
Doubt these increases are sustained long enough to matter for everyday libido purposes, certainly not for anabolism. If you want to raise testosterone significantly, lose weight and get more sleep first and foremost. After that, stuff like D3 and zinc can make a dent, but a prescription for Clomid (which I am on) will generally double your levels. Ask your doctor, etc.

I would caution taking 1 study too serious so far as I know it has not been replicated.
My experience is that long edge sessions do increase libido . Of course the method of action may be test or something else . From experience it did add general vigor but not anabolism.

I'm a newbie, and I'm trying to get a better handle on Edging. Any help would be appreciated.
1). It is my intent to Edge right after the JP90 warm down in the morning. But I can't do that due to time constraints. Can I spilt it up and do workout in morning and Edge at night instead?
2) Is a Bathmate an acceptable alternative to Edging?
3) How "exactly" does one Edge? Let me give two different instances. In the first, I whacked off for maybe 10 minutes and got to the PONR where I had to really use my PC muscles (and some others I don't know I have) to keep it in, grunting in the process. Okay and so I started up again. But I'm so worked up, I'm at PONR in 30 seconds and shoot my load.
In the next instance, I start to Edge and when I feel my little swimmers at my base, I'm like is this PONR? Relax and then start up again. I can whack off for a few minutes again before I have to repeat? I can do that for quite a while this way, until I decide to shoot my load. But is that feeling the Edge.

As the Jp is a high workload in itself beware total workload .
There are many forms of edging some are explained onsite in various threads like edging for Pre e ( a sticky in pre e ) or edging 101 . Many others mostly long buried.

There are four main aspect to edging for sexual improvement purposes: stamina, hardness (both of these are factors in EQ), ejaculatory control and the development of emotional visualizations.
For the purposes of sexual improvement, diminishing returns occur after 20-25 minutes. Similar to aerobic conditioning, one once can perform 20-25 minutes of edging it becomes easier to maintain activity for much longer periods of time.
Edging after an enlargement session when one has already pre-stretched the tissues of the penis can have a cascadie effect0 offering even more size gains.
This being said, for the purposes of enlargement specific training one can undertake longer edging sessions- provided one has the capacity to maintain a rock hard erection for most of the duration.

I have recently added erect kegels to my routine as well as edging. I only have time for about 5 minutes of edging after my session. Warm up, stretching, jelqing, erect kegels, edging, warm down. Is there any benefit to doing that or is the time too small to add anything? I do get really good expansion and get extremely hard while doing it. Thanks for the response. My thought was that after all that stretching and jelqing ( I jelq with a fairly high erection level and use slow jelqs with a firm grip to target girth) that the edging was a short added exercise to get a little more expansion at the end of the session. I do a little edging to get as hard as possible and throw in some erect kegels and back and forth for more expansion. IMO, the best thing you can do for male enhancement is edging. so making time for it would be essential.
