The shorts are regular mens outdoor shorts that are vented. The two layers sewn closely together allow air circulation, but very little exposure. The exposure comes from sliding your junk in between the layers. I put some photos up in the photo section, and when you are standing in direct sunlight there is not much left to the imagination ( https://www.pegym.com/forums/members...sh-shorts.html ). Even in those pictures though you would normally have a shirt hanging down and also a simple hand placement or movement out of the direct light will lessen the view substantially.
Here is a link to the brand I purchased, but Nike for one also makes a vented, mesh short. My inseam is 7", as I don't want short shorts, but don't want them past my knees either.

Member of the Month Nov 2017
After about 3-4 months, my Levis would begin to show that characteristic fade and broken-in form that outlined a guy's physique from the waist down. That's when they're gettin' really comfortable and "perfect"! I was no different, except the very first fading and wear on MY jeans was ALWAYS my BULGE! My crotch, because I was a natural "shower" and never turteled, always rubbed everything, & preceded me into a room! Consequently, my bulge was always the first faded and worn area of my jeans!
That drove my mother berzerk! Along about mid-November, when my jeans were "just perfect" she'd give me that "EYE" that only a mother can give a son, on the way out the door to class, and say "Don't you have another pair of jeans you could wear?" I'd just laugh, shrug my shoulders and grin...knowing full-well what she was alluding to! Problem (for MOM) was, all my jeans were worn just the same (LOL), my crotch Bulge was the first to wear out...ALWAYS!
Drove my mother crazy! We laughed about it years later, when she confided to me it was certainly no secret at her weekly ladies bridge club, when I was in HS, that I was "well-endowed" as a HS Boy! (LOL)...Who knew??
