I didn't start the program yet since I'm working on fixing other physical symptoms first but this is a question that has been in my head for a long time ago:
Is "Become in an almost primal trance state where you cannot concentrate on anything but the feeling of stimulation" kinda like to when you start thinking how hot she is, looking her tits or ass like a dumb? Stopping that is one the tecniques to lower/control our arousal?

Hi guys I'm new here. I've been lurking for about a couple of weeks now and been practicing reverse kegals but I realized that arousal is my problem.
When I get to PONR I literally can't return but when I am coming close to it and I think my arousal is too high I try to lower it. But it goes too low and I end up losing my erection. Is this something that anybody else has experienced? Anyone have any ideas how to fix this?

Hey guys about the ballooning..so u just rub ur sensitive spot at a pace where it does NOT cause ik??? Does this help after a while????any experiences from this exercise?????seems like ivcant do it for more than 10 sec atm..will this improve??just wondering how this works and if the time will increase after doing it for a while.does this desensitise the area?!

Tense up muscules around your body in reaction to stimulation. Primarily tension in the pelvis and legs

Above are the problems I realised I notice while masterbating. Is it good or bad if I do one of the Beginners' routines in addition to these exercises? Or should I concentrate on this first and then on Length/Girth?Starting Stats (08-26-2014):

I was just posting about this this morning. When edging with a fleshlight I can not feel Involuntary Kegels or much of anything except pleasure, but I can feel my Erection Quality change. So I am trying to use that change in EQ as a trigger to go faster or slower or to try to RK to decrease my EQ. In other words I don't use PONR as my trigger as that is too difficult to back away from, but EQ is something I am aware of and can, somewhat, control. I have no idea if I am aware of EQ during sex though...

I can now edge with just the physical stimulus for half an hour (last measured, but could go on...)
My problem is now the additional stimulus through imagining. My problem is, that it gets me to excited too fast. Do you think I should just ease into it? Concentrate more on breathing, relaxing the pelvic floor? Cause I feel the penis twitching, EQ going up and the head getting bigger when I start strong arousing fantasies.
I would say I should concentrate on the breathing/relaxation and start to gradually increase the time and intensity of the imagining time, because now after 10 minutes (with breaks (physical or for the mind) of some seconds inbetween) I surely achieve an very hard to avoid ponr (I edge too prolong the time of the near ponr occuring).
But what do the arousing techniques veterans say?Starting Stats (08-26-2014):

I know what you mean about using imagination to rapidly increase arousal, once I hit my goal for duration of edging, and if it's an ejaculation day in my routine, then all I have to do is imagine some high stimulation event from my past or make something up and it can drive me to PONR very quickly.
One of the keys for me is that I've learned to recognize the onset of PONR very early on, just by recognizing an increase in EQ, and then apply a reverse Kegel to subdue the arousal. It's been a several month learning curve, but I'm definately lasting longer during sex.
I'm concentrating solely on the fleshlight edging for now, it's got the highest stimulation, outside of sex, that I've found yet, and I do it while in a missionary like position so after 10 minutes I'm physically exhausted.2014-05-03 BPEL 7.00, EG 5.50, BPFSL 7.25, FG 4.60

I have trouble isolating the RK. I use Minuteman's DO exercise guide and I am doing equal RK's to Kegels, some recommend doing more RK's than K's but I simply cannot isolate them well enough without doing it opposite a Kegel. Anyways, I found the best RK isolation position to be is in a deep horse riding stance. Its a martial arts stance, search on it if you are not familiar. You can see my DO Guide routine at my journal on several recent days. Even with all that Kegeling and reverse Kegeling I still cannot truly hold an RK all by itself while edging or during sex so I apply both an RK and RRL at the same time. I can feel a RRL, it's kind of like a pre fart feeling, but when I'm in the missionary position I don't feel like I will actually fart! My abs tense up and my thrusting becomes mechanical and I have to concentrate on the RK RRL. If I can hold that for long enough then I can feel my arousal level dropping. It's still not easy or natural for me but I can do it, even during sex. It won't hold off PONR forever but it helps.

Read the Pelvic Floor Balance thread, and look into the following exercises.
Reverse kegel for newbie ( yes, that's me )
Pelvic floor yoga
flat foot deep squats
If you do PE exercises, stretches can also help.

When I edge I can use my imagination but in a sense limit my thoughts and edge for as long as I like. This is something that took me a little time to learn. However, if I really focus only on my imagination my arousal levels will jump quickly and I will race towards the PONR. A lot of the time I just replay memories in my head. The question I have is, I can't really seem to control my arousal levels during this period as I feel during this time I focus on nothing but my imagination. If I want to lower my arousal levels I need to stop thinking about the fantasy all together. Is this something I should try to work through or have I already moved passed this so too speak by not letting my mind "lock-in" and focus on my arousal alone when edging?
