  • Urge to kegal.

    This week I started viewing porn fully clothed, with no masturbation. Just strickly viewing videos to figure out how to lower my arousal while watching them. I have gotten to the point where I can actually stay at a level 3 erection while watching porn and keep it there. However there is this strange sensation I have never felt before.

    After I get to a 3 erection after about a 30sec of watching porn I start breathing to restrict arousal from climbing. Something happens now that does NOT happen when edging. Because I don't touch the penis, I feel the absolute NEED to kegal or touch myself to kegal, so my erection can grow. Its almost as if my body knows I am viewing porn and know I want the intense erection. Refusing to kegal (which I had to learn to do) creates this feeling of tension in my pelvis also. This urge to kegal, whatever you want to call it, I think also happens during sex. Which is what connects porn and sex (Intense arousal). I am hypothesizing that: If I can remove this urge to kegal when watching porn, then I will gain absolute arousal control with porn and intercourse.

    Call me crazy, but I think I am on to something. The goal here is to master arousal at its most intense.

    Again, I plan on not masturbating to porn at all for the next few weeks.

    Results will tell me if this works. Wish me luck.

      I am interested where this leads drummer ,but I have nothing helpfull to say. I have seen your research lead us forward before , this may or may not, but if you think it is worth looking at ,then you have reason to trust your instincts.

          Are your clothing restricting your erection at all? Like when i'm clothed with my gf and getting aroused feels like my penis wants to kegel to grow larger when it's constricted and cant grow to its fullest.

            Ok, so if I understand well, you plan to focus on your kegal muscles while watching porn and try to control their response in order to have them under your total control?

              Ultimately, its about trying to move automatic responses to being under conscious control, right?

                I have noticed this. I used to feel myself kegeling when I was layed cuddling a woman, my dick would start twitching. Have to say, this is back when I first started dating, it hadnt happened for a long time but I can remember trying to control it while I was laying there incase she thought I was weird or something. Been married for 6yrs now and that hasn't happened for a long time but I am definatly familiar with the feeling of an urge to kegel. I think you may well be on to something!

                  This is very interesting, I think you may be onto something. This sounds like a good strategy to learn to control your arousal.

                    I consider myself having a very tense pelvic floor, I work daily to relax it, but it is a continual battle.

                    But the few times I was able to relax these muscles completly, with RK and relaxation, I felt I was having a control I didn't imagine I could have. Maybe you'll say it's stupid, but I was feeling more complete, being one with my pelvic floor, not separate entities like I feel when it is tense.

                    I think this strategy is all about making peace with the part of your body so it works with and for you instead of against you.
                    Relaxation is my key!

                      No I wore generally lose clothing so that if I got an erection it would get to its fullest. But the clothing did rest on my penis head so its not like the penis head wasn't touching any clothing.

                      No this makes perfect sense, and anyone who has done what you are talking about before would agree! It is those times that you actually feel how it should be that motivate you to your goals.

                        I had a great success this morning. I was able to masturbate to porn with flawless control this morning. I have NEVER been able to do this since the first few times a watched porn when I found out about it. I still have much work to do to make sure this is a consistent occurring

                        If you wish to try this out keep in mind I am very experienced with understanding my body. I suggest you:
                        1.) Balance your reverse kegals and kegals. I have been at it since November 2010 and I think I was perfectly balanced in about March 2011.

                        2.) Learn and master the Arousal Techniques.

                        3.) Complete Byggds Guide to Controlling your ejaculation response. This is an amazing program that seems to do everything it promises. It is also how I mastered the Arousal Techniques.

                        4.) Do NOT masturbate to porn if you don't think you are ready. In order for porn to become less arousing you have to think of it in a less arousing way. Use porn as a learning experience, just watch it fully clothed and look at how the men are lasting so long. I talked out loud the first day about what was going on in the porno. Anyways I think one of the most important things I did everyday was right before I start, to talk to myself about what my goal is, and what I want to achieve. This put me in the mindset and gave me motivation not to let porn take control of me.


                        Porn is not real.
                        Porn has actors.
                        Porn gives you an overexpectation of sex.

                        One last thing. I would let any erection I had after each video go down before starting again. Between videos I would write down what was going on. Here are my personal notes for each day. I think you should do the same so you can see your results and compare.

                        8/26
                        Goal: try to think about whats going on in porn instead of enjoying it.
                        Setting: Alone. On the couch. Fully Clothed. No touching.
                        Mood: Very Horny.

                        2x 5min: Amature Porn. No sound. Talked outloud about what was going on.
                        Both times the Highest I got was a 3 erection. Pelvis area and dick feels very sensitive. Heartrate went up.

                        2x 5min: Amature Porn. With Sound. Talked outloud what was going on.
                        First time Highest I got was a 5. Not for very long.
                        Second time Highest was a 6. Not for very long.

                        2x 5min: Group Porn. No sound. Talked in head about what was going on.
                        First time Highest I got was a 4 erection. Pelvis area and dick feels very sensitive. Heartrate went up.
                        Second time the highest I got was a 8. Went down quickly afterwards.

                        2x 5min: Group Porn. With Sound. Talked outloud what is going on.
                        First time Highest I got was a 3 erection.
                        Second time Highest I got was a 3 erection. Didn't really need to talk anything out.

                        By the end of this I could feel that I am not lustfully horny. I have never been able to sit through porn before, much less keep myself from getting a throbbing erection.



                        8/27
                        Goal: try to think about whats going on in porn instead of enjoying it.
                        Setting: Alone. On the couch. Fully Clothed. No touching.
                        Mood: Normal

                        2x 5min: Amature Porn. No sound. No thoughts.
                        First time Highest I got was a 3
                        Second time highest I got was a 4 erection.

                        2x 5min: Group Porn. No sound. No thoughts.
                        First time Highest I got was a 2 erection. Suprisingly felt very relaxed.
                        second time Highest I got was a 8 erection. Felt very aroused with this video and heartrate went up.

                        2x 5min: Amature Porn. With Sound. No thoughts.
                        Highest I got was a 2 erection. Heartrate up.
                        Highest was a 2. Pretty relaxed.

                        2x 5min: Group Porn. With Sound. No thoughts.
                        Highest was a 3.
                        Highest was a 2. Almost no erection most of the time.

                        I am a little horny at the end of this, but I feel no need to watch anymore.


                        8/29
                        Goal: Focus mainly on relaxing and breathing
                        Setting: Alone. In chair. Fully Clothed. No touching.
                        Mood: Moderately horny.

                        5min: Amature Porn. With Sound. 1 on 1. Highest was a 8. Hard to put down. Forgot to breathe
                        5min: Amature Porn. No sound. 1 on 1. Highest was a 4.
                        5min: Amature Porn. With Sound. 1 on 1. Highest was a 4.

                        5min: Group porn. With Sound. Highest was a 2. at 0 for majority. DEEP breathing starting getting numb around face and arms. lightheaded
                        5min: Group Porn. No Sound. Highest was a 1. 0 for majority. Didn't need to deep breathe, but breathed normal and steady.
                        5min: Group Porn. With Sound. Highest was a 1. 0 for majority. Mixed deep and normal breathing.


                        8/31
                        Goal: Focus mainly on relaxing and breathing. While NAKED.
                        Setting: Alone. In chair. Naked. No touching.
                        Mood:Normal

                        2x 5min: Amature Porn. No sound. First time the highest was a 4. Second timeKept forgetting to breathe Highest was a 3.
                        2x 5min: Amature Porn. With sound. First time the highest was a 4. Second time the highest was a 5. Very arousing video.

                        2x 5min: Group Porn. No sound. Arousing video. Highest was a 6. Second time highest was a 2.
                        2x 5min: Group Porn. With sound. Highest was a 3. highest was a 3.






                        As you can see I havn't come up with a standard set to do, but I have been pretty consistent I think.


                        I don't think this should be a long-term program. But I will continue to do this for at least another week to record progress. Hopefully soon I can have sex and see my real potential. I am confident this is going to have at least some positive effect with intercourse!

                          As of right now I have much better arousal control over porn.

                          Just 2 weeks ago even looking at women in bikinis with no nudity brought me to an uncontrollable level 9 erection. And this was with no touching.
                          I thought it was funny that I could control my arousal perfectly until a saw something sexy.

                          After doing what I previously posted I completely stopped watching all porn what so ever. I have noticed a few things.

                          First, I can look at bikini girls now and never get a boner. I simply feel like I have a rewritten mindset about visual stimulation.
                          Second, I started the week with a weird feeling I can't explain yet. It is almost like a feeling of confidence and belief that I can control my arousal?
                          Third, when I used to look at women in real life (like walking past a hot girl in the mall) I would have a sudden arousal spike. That is gone too.
                          Fourth, I have been able to successfully masturbate to porn with little to no arousal spikes. This isn't every time, but it was about every other time.



                          Overall it is working! The urge to kegal has gone down a lot.

                          I have stopped viewing porn to prevent any ED since I have had a problem in the past with that. So that means I stopped doing these exercises too.


                          And last but not least, I had sex the other night and although it wasn't perfect, I had the most control I have ever had before.
                          (I also did Byggds program right before this exercise.)

                              Hi drummer 19!!! Have u read my log journal lately? I don't have prem ejac anymore! I am starting to watch porn without masturbation too!!! It's so funny how we are very alike. I don't get kegels at all though. I used to get hard erections just viewing it but now I don't get an erection at all!!!
