    Diet is over
I'm taking a diet break this week, then I'm going to re evaluate my calorie intake and my workout routine for these upcoming weeks. I'm going to eat around maintenance to maintain my physique and let my metabolism get back to normal. That way when I start bulking I won't be adding all my fat back. I'm also taking this week off of lifting. This week has been awful. The energy levels were dreadful. Getting to single digit body fat is always harder than maintaining it. Once I started eating a little more, I felt fantastic.

My goal is to add muscle mass as slowly as possible. I can see my abs without flexing now and my jaw line pops out nicely. I just need to add more muscle mass to my frame and I will be golden. This experience has really put bodybuilding into a positive light for me. It goes to show how hard it is to be lean. It also shows why bodybuilders look like they're on steroids(Most are), but in reality they have a lot of lbm. Gaining more lbm is the best way to drop bodyfat% and it makes you look ripped. I need to focus on regaining my strength most of all. Losing 70lbs did a number on my strength levels.

    Benefits?
The Pros about getting lean was, more attention. That's just about it. Guys would ask what supplements I take and what workouts I do, or they would just watch me workout. Women would typically admire in the distance or stare at me as I pass them by.

The cons were low energy, low libido, moodiness, excessive hunger, lack of sleep, increased pride and ego, shallowness towards less attractive people.
It also shows how fake people really are as well. Being treated differently just because you lost some weight, that was insane. It wasn't until I hit 12% bodyfat, i had "face gains", meaning slimmer face and chiseled jawline, that I was treated better. Take note, eating a lot of food helps jaw muscle size.

Obviously the cons out weigh the benefits if you are already healthy and in shape. The irony is that most people get lean to get women into bed, but it's hard to get it up when you are really lean. It's almost impossible to look like a God naked, and be able to perform as such unless you are taking other things.

    Over all
Cutting was an experiment for me. This is my second time ever in my life, going on a diet. I ended around the same weight both times, but this time my bodyfat is 4% less than before. The next time I cut, if it comes to that, I will know better on what to expect and what works for me. Cutting was definitely worth it, and it taught me a whole lot. This concludes my thread. For now, rest and recovery until the grind next week.
