Started on Dec 5 2011. My initial measurements were NBPEL between 5.9 and 6.0 and BPEL between 6.3 and 6.4. My EG, measured with a flexible tape measure, was between 5.25 and 5.3. (with a string and ruler it was closer to 5.5) I initially started with an extender but found this site and I am giving this a good try. (I recorded the below in my diary)

    Day 1: Dec 5
    X4 - 5 hours total

    Day 2:
    X4 - 4 hours

    Day 3:
    X4 - 6 hours

    Day 4:
    X4 - 4.5 hours

    Day 5:
    X4 - 4.25 (urethra pain so stopped)

    Day 6: Dec 10
    F
    First day of PE workout
    10 min - heat pad
    10 min - manual stretching
    20 min - Jelqing
    10 min - heat pad
    X4 - 2 hours

    Day 7: Dec 11
    Day off

    Day 8:
    10 min - heat pad
    10 min - manual stretching
    20 min - Jelqing
    10 min - heat pad
    X-4 4 hours

    Day 9:
    Can't remember...didn't record but it wasn't a day off

    Day 10:
    10 min - heat pad
    10 min - manual stretching
    30 min - Jelqing
    lots of kegels
    10 min - heat pad
(this was the first time I felt as though I did the jelqs with some effects. This was my first "good" PE session)
    X-4 - 5 hours

    Day 11:
    10 min - heat pad
    10 min - manual stretching
    20 min - Jelqing
    Erect kegels
    20 minutes start and stops
    10 min - heat pad
(started doing some shakes inbetween sets)
    X4 - 2 hours

    Day 12: Dec 15
    quick shower warm up
    10 minutes easy Jelq
didn't write down X4 time, but I think it was a couple hours

    Day 13
    10 min - heat pad
    10 min - manual stretching
    25 min - Jelqing included V jelq
    lots of kegels
Starts and stop...but didn't stop after about 10 minutes.
X4 - 3.5 (moved up a tension bar for the day) (had to go back down the next day)

    Day 14 Dec 17
    10 min - heat pad
    10 min - manual stretching
    20 min - Jelqing included V jelq
lots of kegels, probably to many...
X4 - 2.5 hours (I'm not enjoying the extender much...It's hard to stay motivated due to how uncomfortable it is)

    Day 15 Dec 18
    Day off :-)

    X4 total hours 42.75 (+/- a couple)

I did measure yesterday Day 13 and I measured BPEL 6.5 and EG 5.5 with string (taken after workout but I believe that is my usual girth)

Thanks maelsurk, I taylored my routine off of JP's. I will try to follow it a little more stricly. I'm sure all beginners have the same impatient mindset as I have and just want to do more but I think I've been pretty good with not going overboard. When I did the 10 minutes of jelq I felt it wasn't enough of a workout so I did increased it slightly and I felt I got a good workout. (This may be because I haven't perfected the techniques.) If I'm way off please crack me one and get me back on track.

          Day 16 (Dec 19, 2011)
15 minute warm up with heating pad
10 minutes stretches (did not seem to be a good session)
10 -15 minutes of Jelqs (regular and V Jelqs)
10 minute start and stop but did not finish
          X4 - 2 hours
heating pad...it's been about 30 minutes so far...

          X4 total hours 44.75 (+/- a couple)

I think I may have stretched to hard today...after reading some more on how hard to stretch I definitly think I am doing it to hard. I don't have pain but I can feel my ligs (not painful, just noticable) This whole session was not good, It could be that I was overly tired. I didn't sleep well and I was physically tired after my physical activities yesterday...I decided to not do any more X4 today, which feels like all I'm doing is choking off my glands more than getting a long easy stretch. I may take tomorrow off...play it by ear.

I'm having a hard time being motivated enough to put on the X4 extender...It just isn't comfortable and I really feel like it is just strangling my glands...Has anyone found a way to way to where one with some tolerable comfort? Has anyone achieved gains using one of these?

                    Day 19 Dec 22, 2011

A great workout this morning. In an attempt to follow JP's routine a bit more I paid closer attention to the number of reps I was doing. I don't think I was doing as much as recommended.

-15 minute warm up with heating pad
-5 directions stretch held for 30 seconds each with kegels during the last 10 (only did during the first round. I did 5 reps. This took about 15 to 20 minutes because I was getting to erect. When I got to erect I would kegel until I could stretch again.
-150 jelqs and 125 V jelqs , same problem, I kept getting to erect so I continued to do kegels until able to continue.
-5 minutes of edgeing - no ejactulation.
                    -shower

                    X4 - 1 hour

                    X4 total hours 48.25 (+/- a couple)

I'm really considering not using the X4. I just can't seem to find a comfortable way to wear it. Anyone have any good advice for this?

Tried the X4 with the noose. I may be able to wear it with the noose. My motivation has definitely shifted as I am enjoying the manual methods more than the pain of the extender.

In light of what I am about to say, I hope that extender wasn't too expensive.

Most of the material that I have read on extenders has indicated that they don't seem to be very effective. You are just starting out correct? Most newbies report significant initial gains in the length department utilizing just manual methods. As time goes on, length gains typically slow, but deconditioning breaks to allow the ligaments to loosen again often allow length gains to continue. Some reach the point where they simply cannot gain anymore. At that point, weight hanging may be an option. This method when used with caution can be used to push past annoying plateaus.

Just see how far you can get with the manual methods is my recommendation. I have never put much stock myself in mechanical devices.

                          Thanks kelthuzad

I am new to this and at first I was only using the extender as I knew nothing about this site. I like the idea of trying to get all the gains I can achieve using manual methods, then once I plateau trying some other methods. I'll have to try to get my money's worth out of that extender at some point...but I'm not to worried about that...I'm more concerned with achieving results and not hurting myself. I do hope that that I am doing enough in my routine. I had the most physically demanding workout this morning thus far, but I don't feel any soreness or fatigue what so ever after. I only stop to ensure my determination doesn't over step my safety. How should I feel after a workout?
Well I really appreciate your comments and advice...Thank you!

I'm not sure how one should feel after a workout. I personally like to feel a little fatigue so that I know I got a good workout but significant pain or discomfort is a no no.

The only two things I would say as far as your routine have to do with warmup and jelqing.

Moist heat tends to do a better job of warming up the penis. I personally fill up a cup of warm water and put it over my penis and balls. I make a seal on my groin. I would recommend you at least try using hot water in some form to see which one you think works better, the heating pad or hot water. Some people use a hot washcloth.

As far as jelqing goes; well, I don't know about you, but sometimes I find it easier to stay erect than at other times making timed sessions impractical for me. A given session may have less reps than another one simply because I had to stop more times to get hard again during that session. I always go by number. Hope some of this helps.
