I don't measure very often anymore, it's just that I read about some guys experiencing a sudden increase in BPFSL after a lig pop, so I wanted to check it out.
Stan...Let me know if it does increase while LIG popped!! if it does then I will do the same as I did get some clicks few times but was afraid to get it popped unless someone experienced it and does not affect damage!! Please let me know pal....

I tried measuring BPFSL again, it was quite easy getting to 10"3/8, and I was able to consistently go a tad beyond the mark, so I might have gained a little something, but I can't be sure as I didn't do a lot of measurements pre-pop with that ruler.
The pop definitely did no damage, no pain at all (in fact I didn't feel anything when it happened), and EQ is good, not my best but not bad either.
I've decided to do some ruler stretches again, maybe once a day, if only to add measurement points so I know exactly where I stand. Right now I have no definitive idea whether I've gained any BPFSL at all for the past few months, and I don't like that, being in the dark and not knowing whether what I'm doing is serving any purpose.
My new routine is easy, feels good and gives me a great flaccid hang at all times, but that's not what I'm after. If I'm not seeing any BPFSL gains by Dec 1st, I'll switch back to a lock stretch based routine.
OK, every time I measured my BPFSL lately I got the exact same reading, i.e. just a tad over 10"3/8, not quite halfway between the 3/8 and 7/16 marks but definitely over 3/8. I know such detail sounds ridiculous, but my measuring method is very accurate, even the more so with my new ultra-rigid ruler.
So, I will use this measurement as a starting point to check whether I make any new BPFSL gains in the next few weeks with my shock stretch based routine.
Now that I know where I stand I could stop measuring daily, but I think I'll keep doing it as I still believe that the ruler stretch is in itself a good exercise, if not the best stretching exercise I've used. I know I overdid it before, but once a day isn't going to hurt now.
I now do most of my lock stretches at downward angles in order to work the ligs better. Together with lots of shock stretches, some power shakes and a few slow jelqs whenever I end up with a semi, this really feels like a good routine. Ruler will tell though, no obvious signs of FSL gains yet.
Following the same idea, I also started doing downward erect bends, not sure it really pulls on the ligs but it feels good so why not.
EQ has been consistently very good for a long time now, maybe the jelqs have something to do with it.
Anyway, no signs of BPEL gains either, but I haven't done a serious measuring session in a while, maybe I'll try later today.
