Actually i would argue that you can't be red pill without having dark tetrad characters since that is what they are modeling .

What they are doing is teaching guys how to be more manipulative to achieve their ends through deception and dishonesty (Mach) or to be highly egotistical (Narcissism) because some women find it attractive. You can't teach psychopathy or sadism.

Again, that is only a part of the Red Pill, not the actual Red Pill. Any man has the ability to ignore Dark Triad and achieve his ends in a different manner. Dark Triad just means you are willing to give up morals in pursuit of your achieving your goals. It is not related to the other topics that the Red Pill consists of.

Some guys think the red pill is learning how to manipulate women when in fact it's the opposite. The red pill teaches men to put themselves and their life as first importance, and the fruitage of that is what women are attracted to. Women like to be chased but they are far more attracted to a guy who has his life together and doesnt act like a whipped dog. It doesnt mean you have to be some arrogant prick, it just means you have value in yourself and wont mold your life around a woman. One of the main reasons girls are attracted to "bad boys" isnt because they are bad...its because they do what they want and do it confidently.

Everyone is always looking for the easy way to make themselves happy. I don't like my looks - let me get plastic surgery. I am too fat, let me buy the newest diet craze. I am not sexy enough - let me get my boobs enlarged. My dick isn't big enough - let me buy a penile implant. I can't get a woman - let me learn how. There will always be the next self help book, craze diet, newest exercise equipment, diet pill etc. Most spend a lot of time and energy and find that they are still be unhappy.

There are no quick fixes in life, you need to deal with who you are and decide who you want to be. Once you have discovered this and decide that it is important enough for you to make a life style change then you will. You will change for the right reasons. If you try and be someone you are not thinking it will improve your life, I think you will be sadly disappointed. Strive to be the best person you can be, learn who you are, love yourself, and work on being the best you. Then things will fall into place and you won't have to spend your time and money on the next "red pill", "blue pill" or self help book. You will be happy!

I'd say that PEgym is part of the red pill community as it involves men aiming to improve themselves, in a specific category of sex, whether it be for their woman/women or for personal development.

Regarding the dark triad aspect, it can be seen as one of the paths that a man following the PUA community can take and what we are seeing from PUAs more and more is the promotion of a more sincere motivation behind their improvement in male to female interactions.
Examples include:
1. all the RSD mentors becoming more vocal about working on the inner void with meditation and more "zen-like" methods instead of banging as many chicks as possible with little regard to the girls' situation.
2. Roosh V's latest book is a total detraction from his earlier years of "bang bang bang" to "the ultimate aim of PUA has always been to better yourself to become the best man you can be for your one to settle down with"
3. One of the originals, Mystery, becoming so in touch with his emotional side that he's starting to look like a beta-bitch boy, yet he's still settled with a girl
4. Ross Jeffries transitioning from his manipulation days to "inner work"

I can keep going.

My point is in this day of effeminate men that lack direction or understand themselves or women, PUA was born as a response to the disturbance in the gender equilibrium.

People often confuse red pill with the mgtow crowd. Imo those guys are usually the ones with the chip on their shoulders. I have been red pill for quite a while now and have been happily married almost 6 years. What people learn about the red pill is usually from some left wing media website. Most guys wont be up to the task because it goes against most of what western men grow up with.

Funny, I found the woman of my dreams back in 1987 without the help of the internet, self help books, colored pill, or being a prick. Today, everyone strives for a hand up to give the best shot at getting a relationship. If you are confident as a man, then you don't need the help of guru's that profess to have all the answers. I've said it before and I believe it now. Ditch the social media, give up on sites that swipe left or right. Go out there and be confident and actually talk to the other sex. Things have become so sterile nowadays, its a wonder anyone ever gets into a long term relationship with anyone. Man up, do things face to face. It will make you a more confident man in the process. No PUA crap, be respectful, kind, generous and compassionate.
