Guess your right, these discussions tend to really trigger me so I automatically assume everyone should deal with them the same way and DTB but certain people are capable of forgiving certain actions, I'm just not one of them.

I disagree secureman to me a strong relationship is made of two equals not a leader and a subordinate. When I get married my wife will be allowed to make her own decisions all she wants, we both will work together on everything.

the best relationships i've had have been when the woman fell back and let me make moves. She gave me the reigns and let me make the decisions... these aren't demure house wife women... these are well-off business savvy women with egos themselves....

Why did it work for me? Well, because what it does is shows she trusts me. One in particular, she had an uncanny ability to fall into the background and let me do things... But, being a good leader allowed me to ask her for her input. If she had no input, I did what I wanted. If she had input I would take her thoughts and concerns into consideration and likely would adjust the course accordingly.


The worst relationships were women who thought it was in their best interest to second guess my every move.

I just wonder how many of us guys break up with our girls, get laid the next night, and then go back with the girl we just broke up with 3 days later because we just realized we really love her?

Funny .. this happened to me this weekend. I had an argue with my girl because she's still friends with a guy who threatened me (because he is frustrated she chooses me) .. I kept my calm, stayed mature, and walked away without fighting .. But now my girl is still talking to him .. what do you guys think? honest opinion would be appreciated

so this weekend I was angry at her, I find it disrespectful she's still talking to that guy who threatened me and wanted to fight with me. So I told her well if you want to have options, i'm also gonna find me some options, and that night I kissed another girl. It was foolish, and she forgave me. I'm glad she did, because I now know she's truly amazing. But still, I hate the fact that she still talks to that dude

Tell her you cant get back together with her yet and need to see if she can go more than 2 days without fucking some guy first...

It may sound weird but this is a very good perspective. She is left without a relationship for 2 days and surrenders to the first penis she finds. There is something fishy going on here. I totally agree with this. Tell her you need some time to think. Let her wonder around for several days. If you find that she just goes to bed with another guy soon then sorry but you need to let her go, no matter how much it hurts...

Update: she choose me .. If I catch her talking to that guy again, it's over. I made that clear to her. And yes, I will take distance when it happens .. I don't make those rooky mistakes anymore. Had some bad experiences in the past with sticking and almost begging to a woman. Fuck that. If she's not happy with all of this, she can fuck off.
