To the OP. You say you are 4.5" to 5" but you didn't say if this is BP or NBP. I am inclined to believe it is NBP because there are many here who come here saying they are 5"- 5.5" EL and small making me believe that they are stating their BP measurements when they are in fact stating their NBP measurements. I don't know if you think the size studies are credible or not but if your measurements are NBP then you are in the average range according to the studies. In fact if your measurements are NBP I am barely bigger. For the sake of total disclosure I will openly admit that I don't give these studies much credibility but many here accept it as the gospel.

It is well known here that I am one of the few openly "size doesn't matter" doubters here. That being said it is somewhat true that it isn't the and all be all of a real relationship. Does it effect the quality if the sex for most women? Unfortunately I believe it does and so do many others here. I am not saying that an average or even below average penis can't satisfy women, but I do believe that up to a certain size point, for most women bigger is usually more pleasurable. Just the cold hard facts as I see it. Yes it sucks and im pretty much in the same boat as you. Neither of us have the optimum size for most women but it doesn't mean we can't have good sex. It just won't be as good as if we were bigger. I know this is easier said than done but we just have to try to accept that we will most likely never be the optimum size for most women.

Ps: I define optimum as the size that creates the maximum pleasure for a given woman.

It's funny you mention that. I just read that a couple of weeks ago. If I recall correctly, a lot of them did say the biggest wasn't the best but most of them were talking about 9" penises etc, not 8 inchers. From what I gathered from that was yes humongous dicks can suck but just big did not. There were more than a few women who did say that they loved their husbands but did wish their size was as big as their former lovers.

I believe my wife has an average size vagina, but I have little doubt that she would enjoy sex more if I was bigger. I think this is the case for most women. The average penis is "ok" for the average vagina , but lets face it, it is not the optimum for most women. If a penis can bottom out in the vagina and provide maximum stretch w/o pain then it would be the optimum size IMO.

I don't know your age but I will assume your in your 20's. When I was younger and drunk a girl told me and my friend that she wanted to see our dicks. Well the minimal fat pad is a plus. Even when I was way more fit than I am now I still had at least a .75" fat pad. Go out and have fun. Too hell with what some immature b****s might say. For all I know the few women I was with before I met my wife talked crap behind my back also. Screw em'!
