I think many guys (well at least me at least) can relate to not knowing how we stacked up to others or what average was. I was naive as hell and I'm embarrassed to say it wasn't until I was in my mid 20's that I actually knew I wasn't average. I feel like such a dick because I remember watching a porno with a couple of friends in high school and laughing because the guys had a small dick (was an older 70's porn before "size" was sought after so much) and my friends never said anything or agreed with me. Now I know those guys were average and feel pretty shitty about making those comments thereby possibly making my friends think they were small too.

It wasn't until I measured myself and did some research that I found out I wasn't average and my perspective on what "normal" was ..well was only related to what "I" had. My first few sexual experiences the girls would say I was bigger then their last boyfriends but I just assumed that they were "smaller" than average so I never felt it as a compliment or a reason to question my size.

My biggest complaint with the whole "size" issue is that we are not doing enough to educate males properly about the fact that "average" just means the majority and not ALL! They never brought up condom size in my class, just made the idiotic demonstration of how a condom can fit over a grown mans arm. They never mentioned what circumcision was and I was confused as hell about foreskin because I couldn't relate to the pictures and thought my skin was just too tight.

Hell, when I started middle school (7th grade) it was mandatory to take showers and at that time I wasn't even masturbating yet.
