  • True when you put it that way it doesn't sound that bad. I guess I should be grateful for what I have. Only other thing I'm worried about is my dick shrinking back to it's smaller size over lack of pe and still having hard flaccid problems on top of it. who knows though maybe some day in the future I will recover.

Cause I haven't gotten the time yet to give the proper response. And I just read jelqing over the glans is a huge no no. But I wanted to confirm it real quick. I've been jelging over the glans sinse day 1 so if you really arnt supposed to then I think I found the root of the problem.

              • Well knowing the cause could help me figure out how to fix this. I remembered back when I injured it the head wouldn't fill up during erections my dick also looked flat as if The corpus spongiousum wasn't inflating properly. I assumed it was a lig pull as I've had this type of injury before. I've also had this same type of injury before followed by turtling. but I recovered in a week and started up again. About 3 weeks later it happened again and my dick hasn't been working right since. After about 3 weeks my head was filling up properly and the corpus spongiousum was looking full again. But I'm still having the hard flaccid problem. I'm wondering if my dick is just traumatized from jelging over the glans. Like I said I can get erections just fine but my glans and the area just under my skin looks really red inflamed and swollen. I thought it was just cause I burned it but after not applying heat for 2 weeks it's just as red and inflamed looking as ever.

My head is always really cold when it's hanging normally. I wonder if it just retract so it can get fresh blood in the head. If my head expanded past what my flaccid blood circulation reaches then maybe it's just retreating for more blood. And all I have to do is even out my penis by making the shaft wider so fresh blood can get into the head.

Idk just another crazy theory I have.

Anyways I'm real tired and don't want to reply with a half assed response. I'll pm you tomorrow.

                • Do you think having an imbalanced bc and pc muscles could be the cause of this? If one were stronger then the other wouldn't you think that would cause problems.?

Think about it if you always strengthened your bicep but neglected your triceps you would look deformed. Maybe our dicks just have to strong of Pc muscles and we just need to strengthen our bc muscles. Or the other way around.

"I went to a urologist who prescribed Septra after hearing my symptoms and doing a prostate exam. (It was painful when he pushed firmly on my prostate) After 10 days on Septra I developed a rash on my palms and neck so I had to stop taking it. I didn't notice any improvement in that time. He then prescribed Cipro but I read scary stuff about that one and chose not to take it. I wasn't convinced this was prostate related anyway. My libido began to suffer due to the fear of pain, and I experimented with various supplements, even the broccoli juice protocol. Ugh! Nothing worked. Since then I have frequently scoured the internet looking for an answer to my problem but found little information. Last week I found a thread in a forum with guys who had similar sounding symptoms, some of them in my age range, others just teenagers. One of them had the answer. I didn't believe it when I read it but now I believe it's true. Basically the pain is caused by semen being left behind in the shaft. The solution is to make sure all the semen comes out after the ejaculation. I suggest letting your penis go flaccid after sex and then squeezing out every last drop as if you're emptying a tube of toothpaste. As I mentioned, I also get a deeper ache, not just in the penis. I discovered if I started this emptying process on the perineum (just in front of the anus) and glided my fingers all the way to the tip of the penis (maintaining pressure while passing between the testicles) I could remove several more drops that were hiding. This greatly improved my symptoms! Another good idea is to drink some water right before sex so that you will urinate shortly after so as to clean out the urethra. "

                    • He was suffering from hard flaccid because sperm was getting caught up in his dick? Hmm I don't know about this one. I do feel a weird liquid sensation in my dick sometimes. I used to think it was internal bleeding lol. Maybe it is just sperm getting caught. Even if that was it though you would think peeing a couple of times would solve the problem.

It is amazing the problems that can be caused by not fully evacuating either semen or urine in your urinary tract and lower seminal vesicles. Good basic hints are: (1) always urinate promptly after ejaculation; and (2) empty your bladder fully when urinating. Otherwise, you become susceptible to various bacterial and viral infections that can ravage the system and cause scar tissue, which leads to blockage and other problems. The tip of attempting to make sure that all seminal fluid is fully evacuated sounds like good advice--although I'm not sure you can empty out the system like a toothpaste tube.

In particular, edging always concerns me because it is very easy to partially ejaculate and gum up the works (so to speak). But you can also get the same phenomena jelquing close to the PNR, or attempting to get very close for a clamping session. For me, it results in epidydimitis, or upper testicular pain. This pain can refer throughout the groin and cause you to have weak or lost erections. If you develop chronic epidydimitis, it can become a very intractable problem.

From the descriptions of the hard flaccid syndrome, I think that if it is a real separate entity (apart from what is described above), then it would be a vascular injury, rather than neurologic or urologic. Essentially engorged blood causes erections through a very complex process involving neurological, emotional, vascular, and urological functions. A true hard flacid would mean that the blood never really leaves the chambers. I could hypothesize that vigorous PE could damage small blood vessels and interfere with the vascular functions and leave excess blood in the chambers ("corpora cavernosa"). If that is true, then the "cure" would be complete rest until the blood vessels repair themselves. If you keep pushing through this, then in all likelihood, you can cause chronic injury which would require even longer to repair. In contrast to some of the very specious neurological injuries that are sometimes alleged in this and other forum, but not really well defined, it is very easy to cause vascular injuries, and they need rest and time to repair. In other words, I think venous leak is a real problem and this may be a less severe subset of that type of injury.

Basically, when erection occurs, arteries swell and veins constrict within the corpora cavernosa. In a non-erect state, the arteries that bring b*lood into the corpora cavernosa are somewhat constricted, while the veins that drain the blood from the penis are open. There is no way for pressure to build inside the penis. In this state, the penis is limp. If you damage the veins during PE, it can cause the blood to not drain fully and cause what could be described as a "hard flaccid" or partially pressurized corpora cavernosa.

And the other problem is that many PE exercises are essentially an effort to force excess blood into the vascular system so that growth occurs, which in turn requires that the veins continue to restrict an ever increasing blood flow. So, if you are prone to this problem, then you may need to redirect your efforts into exercises that do not do this, i.e. stretching, hanging, or extending. Otherwise, you will injure yourself. And remember, that even with hanging, stretching, and extending, you are still stretching various blood vessels so injury is possible. I just think that the more pressing problem with those prone to this condition, is increasing the internal pressure of the vessels. And remember you are increasing pressure both before and after the "ligature" point, so it is unclear whether the point of injury occurs within the penis, or somewhere a bit further.

Again, this is a theory, but it appears consistent with basic penile anatomy. My hypothesis is that folks who have experienced "hard flaccid" syndrome have either overworked pressure building exercises, or have week vessels to begin with.

I also wonder whether being stuck in a half open state like hard flacid doesn't affect the natural process of cutting off urine during arrousal and ejaculation; and vice versa.

How long ago did you start using it? I've been using it for a while and haven't noticed any drastic changes.

                              • Hmm weird it hasn't really effected me that much. Maybe I'm not using the right kind? It doesn't say cold processed anywhere on the bottle I just assumed they all were.

I think I've noticed That the frequency of hard flaccid is less and less as time goes by though. I'm not sure though could just be wishful thinking.

Sometimes I'll have a weird feeling when I have an erection that something isn't connected right because when I flex my Pc muscles I don't feel that particular area flexing.

It was like that for 2 weeks straight after I first got my injury but now its just happening off and on.
