  • My symptoms are:
    - hard flaccid
    - no libido
    - difficulty sleeping
    - waking up in the middle of the night to urinate

    I am not experiencing any pain.

    What do you think about the role of abdominal tension in this condition?

      Your situation is entirely stress related. All of these symptoms are due to anxiety. I had all of these and have recovered fully, without having any legit medical condition
      Review the yellowish green section of the protocol titled, "mindfulness". That is your new treatment protocol.
      Relaxation techniques can help the tense abs.
      I can 100% guarantee this is the case.

      • Yeah I agree with you. I just discovered that I have a shitload of tension in my abdominal area, including the diaphragm. I never noticed it in the past. I have had shallow breathing for a long time and recently some digestive issues. I could feel almost as if a corset is tightening my midsection all day long. This is so weird. How did I not notice this?

        This may be the reason for my belly breath combos not working. I'll try massaging the area over the next couple of weeks - breaking up adhesions and releasing trigger points - to see if this will have an effect on my reverse kegels.

          You really should try to get to the bottom of your stress. Stress is very general and is on a spectrum. Look inward (self awareness) and try to identify all the personal issues you are having and try to find ways to manage them. A stress management counselor could also be helpful.
          The abs aren't hard to relax voluntarily, it's just retraining them that will be difficult. If you follow the entire protocol it will give you some good yoga positions to practice which will also help with relaxation.
          Massage and trigger point release are good, but it only treats, it doesn't cure. Relaxation and stress management are more likely to cure this, FYI.

          • I cured my HF then got rid of a lot of my pelvic floor tension. Then I wondered why I still felt so weak down there. Then I realized something, after you cure your pelvic floor's tension it's strength will be "reset". So you have to restrengthen it with kegel exercises which is exactly what I'm doing until I'm balanced. You can't just RK forever and it's possible to overdo them.

            I didn't expect to be able to do normal kegels (IKs) and still have a nice flaccid hang again but here I am. I've never been so close to a full recovery before. Big thanks to The HANS Protocol for helping me find the right path.

            • Am i suppose to get an erection if I reverse kegel correctly? Penis getting thicker and longer, head still small
              I've been trying to focus on mentally forcing pee out faster, but I feel I have to press hard down inside the abdomen to do this. In the restroom, I just feel my urethra opening. So not sure if it would be wise to continue this way.

              Back reverse kegels I pass gas every time I try them. Is this correct tghen? Can easily achieve this from laying down and bringing knees to chest.

                Some people report getting erections doing reverse kegels. I don’t however.
                Don’t force pee out just hold a reverse kegel or wait until you really need to go.
                Is the gas “slipping” out or are you actually trying to fart?

                    Filled with blood I guess, noticeable, but still flopping over.
                    I meant the same type of movement, not that pee comes out. Just pretty much tensing my stomach and pushing down. Or is it relaxing the urethra and doing a light push down?
                    Gas/farts just happen, its the only indication that I'm doing something.

                    I just don;t know if I'm getting it right.
                    The fact that I can't get a standing erection is killing me.

                    • I would suggest not tensing your stomach, that might make it easier on your bladder. If you are having urinary retention it is because the muscles are tense and you need to be working on the protocol.
                      If you are able to let gas out then you are doing rks correctly.
                      I suggest focusing primarily on belly breath combos.

                        Thats the only way i can tell im doing a rk, when I gas/fart , i feel my body trying to stop it. Could be because i dont want to crap myself.

                        • No, you should be able to feel the reverse kegel when you breath. If you are having trouble feeling it you are either doing them improperly or you are not tense.
                          Your erections may not be the result of PF issues.

                              If you are a chest breather then you need to be focusing on belly breath combos.
                              Your lack of a standing erection may not be relevant to pelvic floor problems.
                              Could be anxiety.

                              • I'd prefer it to be anxiety driven instead of actually broken.
                                If it is indeed anxiety shouldn't I be having a full standing erection during morning wood? As the mind would be clear at that time?
