Seeings as the girls are moved out now we decided to downsize our house. Didn't need the 5 bed 3000 Sq ft house anymore. Moved into a 3 bed 1500 Sq ft one. So I have a lot of irons in the fire right now. Finishing the basement and turning it into a bar. Turning the screened in back porch into a 4 season room for my wife. Ect. My son's and I are also building a Harely powered go cart with a scrapped bike we picked up.
But I think the manliest thing I've done recently was let my 2 year old granddaughter paint my fingernails and toenails wjen we had her over a couple days ago.Comment

Another fixture in my money pit of an apartment broke on me. My crap-shack's crapper of a toilet was squealing at all hours for the past few days. I tried adjusting the ball cock but nothing seemed to he working. I just shut off the water until I had to use it. The tank drained completely every time... Meaning I needed to replace the fill valve and the flapper.
I shut Is from the water and uninstalled the the fill valve before I left for the hardware store. The O-ring disintegrated turning the water black when I touched it. I bought a Korky platinum quiet fill it and installed it a few minutes ago. Works like a charm! The only problems now is that I need to replace the corroded screws and O-rings connecting the tank to the bowl or they're going to fail and cause a leak.Sex is the great leveler, taste the great divider. - Pauline KaelComment
