NOW you just don't get it. I, we don't really give a rats ass what the other side thinks. Your problem is that you're not here. The only info you get is from the media. You don't get to talk to people. I speak to many in all types of economic levels. They are ecstatic as to what he represents. No bulllshit; tell it like it is. Let business do it's thing with limited government intervention. Let them create jobs; let salaries rise. All corporations are not evil.
Between AT&T and Comcast, well they gave away 300 million dollars to there employees, money that will be pumped back into the economy. That helps everybody.

Trump gets in and the market is 18,000. The day after the election the market goes up 257 points. You call that just a coincidence. It has been going up ever since. That was not the work of Janet Yellen. It was the spirit that Trump, like Reagan, has fostered in this country.

You look at polls, you listen to the media and you don't see it or feel it. 2 million jobs added in a year. 1 million less on food stamps.Lowest unemployment for all groups; rising GDP; stock market gone wild. No one man's policy could do all that in such a short time. What can do that is a new spirit of optimism which can only be felt and not explained.

I was in Washington D.C. during the Iranian hostage crisis. It was like a morgue. Then Reagan was elected. On Inauguration Day , a cold damp day in Washington, even though there was no sun the sun came out. You could feel it in the air. Things were going to get better.

Despite all the media bullshit most Americans feel things are getting better and will continue to do so. No you won't see it in polls or the media. You simply have to be here.

By the way you never answered my question. What does the US need allies for?

It's like Marlons statement that conservatives follow Christian tenants. It sounds good but is not reality. First Christians lived as communists. They believed in love for each other giving all to the group. You conservatives would have burned them out like a pack of rats. Damned hippies. Same thing on the Trump excitement. I speak to a lot of people also. Totally different vibe. I guess it depends on which people you are talking to. Many don't think much of the Reagan drug dealing years either.

"This is the largest tax reduction in history." Actually, the sixth largest in history if you use a percentage of GDP to account for inflation.

          Facts - not fake news.

Other presidents have lied, but to protect their reputation. Trump lies routinely as part of his sales strategy which he admitted to in his autobiography.

A good salesman does tend to go into a bit of hyperbole. There are things known as therapeutic lies; designed to give a favorable outlook on things. Kind of like making people, or a country feel good about themselves. Like telling the fat guy it looks as if he's lost weight.

Unfortunately, his therapeutic lies are not making me or the majority of the country feeling good according to his popularity polls. I believe he is suffering from "the boy who cried wolf syndrome."Using facts instead of hyperbaly goes a long way in building confidence. I don't want to feel happy, I want to be able to trust my country's leaders.

He never told a lie about death did he? 4 Americans died in Benghazi. They died, then the politicians lied. They had to spin the narrative so Obama could win again. If they were called out as much a Trump the country would have known it was a terrorist attack and the results of the election might have changed. Romney may have won and we woudn't even be talking about Trump would we?

Most opioid crisis is from doctors in the U.S. They are quite literally supplying much of the addiction issues we have currently. Then when they become harder to get that's when people start looking for heroin that comes from the border.

It's almost like we should not be handing them out like candy and cause this to begin with and maybe use less addictive medications.

As for the tax plan, according to the tax policy center 80% of Americans will get a tax break; 5% will pay more and 15% will break even.
And what do they say about after it's gone for the middle class? Also, you mean the review they did of it, back in September, months before they made changes, even the ones made in pen on the side of it?

Who cares how much they save if this tax plan could cost anywhere between $1 to $2 trillion? Congrats, you save a few hundred dollars, but the nation still loses. If it doesn't add then what's it for?

                    ISIS is gone
No. No they are not. I don't know where you got this, but they are definitely not.

unemployment down; the lowest Hispanic unemployment rate ever; black unemployment the lowest it's been in 20 years
These are not from Trump. The previous presidents economy goes for at least a year after they leave office. This has only now become Trump's economy with him finally doing with the economy and this tax cut. You cannot point to one thing Trump has done previously to make this happen. From 2018 onwards you can thank Trump all you want, but none of that was from him.

a tax cut for the majority of Americans
Most of which expire in 10 years and 53% of Americans will see a tax hike. 1%'s tax cuts won't expire. Those earning one million or more receiving 80% of the benefits.

                    And another source.

                    Okay. Sure.

You don't get to talk to people. I speak to many in all types of economic levels. They are ecstatic as to what he represents. No bulllshit; tell it like it is. Let business do it's thing with limited government intervention.
Yeah, no intervention everyone, just give them billions of dollars of our money over the next 10 years. That's not intervention when you hand them free money. It's only intervention when it protects us from them.

Let them create jobs; let salaries rise. All corporations are not evil.
*snicker*....okay. Alright, if you say so.

Between AT&T and Comcast, well they gave away 300 million dollars to there employees, money that will be pumped back into the economy. That helps everybody.
Bank of America paid an income tax of 7.3 billion last year. Assuming 35% to 20% change in taxes, thanks to the tax plan changing corporate tax rates to that, that would mean they would instead pay 4 billion. Doing that math they save 3.3 billion and they are giving out 140 million in bonuses.

Some quick math 140 million divided by 3.3 billion and we get 4.2% repeating of what they are using from their savings. Congrats, that's a whole bunch of near nothin'. Talk about a boon.

These are businesses that take home dozens of billions and you are going to say that they couldn't do this before? What, were they waiting for even more billions before they could do the thing they could already afford 100 times over? Don't think for a moment businesses couldn't do this already. This is nothing but a PR move for those companies to make it seem like this is what triggered it, because when bank of America took home 20 billion in 2016 there was no possible way to get that to employees. Nope, they really needed that extra 3.3 billion to really give back to their employees.

Oh and let's not forget that more than $80 billion is planned in share buybacks.

And since you hate the media why not a quote directly from companies about the buybacks they will be doing thanks to the tax cuts.

Here are some highlights of corporate responses to the tax bill, courtesy of Thomson-Reuters: Boeing added $4 billion to an existing $14 billion repurchase program. Honeywell expanded its share buyback to $8 billion. Anthem put $5 billion into share buybacks. Home Depot $15 billion. Bank of America $5 billion. MasterCard $4 billion. T-Mobile USA $1.5 billion.
But I guess you'll ignore it 'cause "media bad, feelings good".

Trump gets in and the market is 18,000. The day after the election the market goes up 257 points. You call that just a coincidence. It has been going up ever since. That was not the work of Janet Yellen. It was the spirit that Trump, like Reagan, has fostered in this country.
I'd keep making them go up too if I knew the president would hand me billions.

By the way you never answered my question. What does the US need allies for?
An isolationist view of things have never turned out well for anyone. You yourself tell me not to do that very thing in my life, so don't think America is smart by doing that. In fact, if you love the idea so much why not stop talking to people altogether after all what does Cusp need allies for? You're fooling yourself if you think that ever works.

Hahahahahahahaha. No. Just....no. No........No. Trump doesn't hyperbole, he does whatever he can to soothe him and his ego.

Trump talks about how he had the biggest land slide ever. Fuck no he didn't. It's 44th out of 54.
Trump says it wasn't him on the famous "grab them by the pussy" tape. Except previously he did say it was him.
Trump said he'd release his tax return after his audit is done. Except you are allowed to release them during an audit. Weird how we haven't seen it yet.
Trump didn't fire Comey to stop investigation. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, yeah it was totally for another reason. Yep, totally.
Trump says he didn't back Moore. Pffffahahahahahahahahaha.
Trump says global warming is a Chinese hoax. ROFL.
Trump saying there is no collusion is 2017's lie of the year.
Largest inauguration crowd ever. Fuck no it ain't.
Obama not from America. Yeah, 'cause that bucket held water.
Trump says he won't have enough time to go golfing. We've seen how that's gone, but I guess it's just a $42+ million hyperbole. (Numbers have changed to reflect that actual cost)

You're right though, he is just a man using hyperbole, never lying on purpose. No, these are "therapeutic lies".

Then again what's the point. You're just going to say "You listen to media" and ignore anything I source or link because I'm not "feeling" things so I might as well be watching porn. At least porn actually benefits me and I'll be feeling something there.

You see American business was hampered by Obama and tons of stupid regulations. Once Trump got elected they knew he would roll the real dumb ones back. Still didn't tank yet.

A 3%, and the fourth quarter of this year should be 4% according to the NY Fed is the response that business has to not having Obama in office. Obama simply did not know what he was doing.

This was from the Newyork Post

Her comments came two days day after she served notice the US "will be taking names" on the nonbinding resolution criticizing Trump’s decision.
The draft resolution was sent to the General Assembly after it was vetoed by the US at the Security Council on Monday, although all other 14 council members voted in favor.
"The United States is by far the single largest contributor to the UN. We’ll be honest with you — when we make generous contributions to the UN, we also have a legitimate expectation that our goodwill is recognize and respected," Haley said Thursday.
"When a nation is singled out for attack in this organization, that nation is disrespected," she continued. "What’s more, that nation is asked to pay for the privilege of being disrespected. In the case of the US, we are asked to pay more than anyone else for that dubious privilege."
Haley also emphasized that the UN will move its embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem in any case.
"No vote in the UN will make any difference on that," she said sternly.
Trump’s Dec. 6 decision to recognize Jerusalem as the Israeli capital unleashed protests across Israel and the Muslim world, and prompted appeals to the UN.
The status of the Holy City is one of the thorniest issues dogging the Israeli-Palestinian conflict — with both sides claiming it as their capital.
On Wednesday, Trump warned that Washington would closely watch how nations voted, suggesting reprisals for countries that back the motion, which was introduced by Yemen and Turkey on behalf of Arab and Muslim countries.
"They take hundreds of millions of dollars and even billions of dollars and then they vote against us," Trump said at the White House. "Well, we’re watching those votes. Let them vote against us. We’ll save a lot. We don’t care."
Ahead of the vote, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu blasted the UN as a "house of lies," saying Israel "rejects outright this vote, even before it passes."
"The attitude to Israel of many nations in the world, in all the continents, is changing outside of the UN walls, and will eventually filter into the UN as well — the house of lies," he said, according to Agence France-Presse.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan also assailed Trump for threatening to cut off American funding to countries that oppose his decision.

With Trump saying thigs like this do you really think your get any?

And the killing there still goes on, thank you Mr Trump

They also lost half of there Christmas trade, as holiday makers going there for Christmas, baled out along with others not going and this will also affect there new year bookings, Thank you Mr Trump
Will Mr Trump pick up that bill? I don't think so.
