No. just because I care for people in your country doesn’t mean I have to give an opinion about how you all do things. Live and yet live. Watch the BBC news please. Let me know how much of it is focused on U.S. or Trump, the shut down...whatever. We hear about your tragedies there, the attacks and terrible fire. But little about your political situation, other than the Royals of course. Guess it just isn’t our business.

All governments are socialistic, not in the sense of singing the Internationale and having Marx and Engels pictured on the wall, but in the fact they are paternally, lording over us, giving us what they think is best for our benefit and taking our money to spend on building their mansions and expecting us to be glad to get the tidbits as good house slaves should. All while all this is happening, in the real world where people work for a living, life goes on, people are looking after their own, helping their friends, and even assisting strangers in their travail.

There is no place for socialist and communism on the planet as far as I'm concerned.. But capitalism doesn't work ether.. So really what will!? Personally I stopped watching the world news if I can help it, and go with the local news and weather.. I don't stick my up ether, but today's world will drive a guy nutty.. I feel as humans, we were not meant to be governed by government the way we are now..

I wonder if California will drive away more businesses ? Money that could be used for plant & equipment, hire employees, grow business ?
And...if the companies move out of the state ?

A pair of California lawmakers want to claw back some of steep tax cuts that corporations will receive under the federal tax overhaul signed last month by President Donald Trump.
Democratic Assemblymen Kevin McCarty of Sacramento and Phil Ting of San Francisco announced Thursday that they will pursue a constitutional amendment to add a surcharge on large companies that do business in California, potentially raising billions of dollars to expand social services for Californians.
“We’ve seen enough billionaire justice from the presidency,” McCarty said in an interview. “It’s time for middle class tax justice.”

The proposal from McCarty and Ting creates a new tax for businesses in California, which already has a state corporate tax rate of 8.84 percent. Companies with annual net income of more than $1 million in California would pay an additional surcharge of 7 percent, or half their savings from the recent federal tax cut.

Socialism, what's wrong with it.
Not that I am in favor of it. A sprinkle of it seems to be wanted by some.
I am mostly all capitolist, just the way I was raised and how I chose to construct my life.
