Oh, IDK, Korean love Dog, and not as a pet.

Myself. Here piggy, piggy. You look delicious.
A prayer, is kinda the same as a "Like". If there are enough likes, God will take notice. So "Like" away please. My daughter needs your prayers. Thank You.

And have you ever notice there are no stray cats around Chinese resturants?

Fried or smoked frog legs are good, real good.

That's grade A meat. they aren't going to serve that to the round eye. That is for family get togethers and other special occasions.

People are sometmes so clueless. Some people say they love animals so much, they could never hurt them, while petting a dog or a cat and yet they go out and get a big steak Every animal likes to be treated with love and dont like being tortured. The reason why dog and cats are so popular is because we humans find them the most attractive acording to our criteria. Nice eyes and fluffy furr is what we are into...
Also because dogs, or canines, helped us throughout history and us them and basically we helped each other evolve, for better (stronger blood lines and hunting allowing each other to eat) or worse (pure breeds). Dogs have a historic bond with humans, which is why many feel they can't be eaten, as it would be tantamount to breaking a promise to keep each other safe. Cats on the other hand I got nothin' as to why on that, they're real assholes sometimes.

Of course other nations also eat dogs and cats and while I can find that gross, personally, unfortunately they are animals and eating them is no different than any other, just like it isn't gross when a lion or hyena eats a person.

Currently the world cannot produce enough food to feed it's population without meat and fish. okay who wants to starve for the cause?

Women were created from the rib of man to be beside him, not from his head to top him, nor from his feet to be trampled by him, but from under his arm to be protected by him, near to his heart to be loved by him.

But when needing more plants wouldn't that also mean just as much water usage, clearing out forests to make sure certain crops can grow, and therefore less animals would be needed and therefore killed by protecting the crops needed for people to eat?

I try to eat a balanced meal each and every day. Fail to see how a baloney sandwich it going to destroy my diet. I make sure that a mix of protein and vegetables with a starch are always included in every meal. Balanced and wholesome are key. You don't necessarily need to go full Vegan to achieve that.

Then again, am a meat lover, so my comments may be skewed.

That's awesome Tara! I recently became vegetarian, with the goal of eventually becoming vegan (cheese is hard to give up at the same time as meat). It's literally one of the best things you can do to combat climate change! Fuck yeah!

I was raised vegetarian and have been vegan for 6 years now, 28 now. I can assure you that you don't need animal protein. I'm an avid surfer and gym goer and i promise I'm not protein deficient. Humans are all made the same there is no better diet for certain people. Yes some people are allergic to nuts or different things but our bodies were not created to consume the amount of meat we do. The people that don't stay vegan for long are the people that aren't giving it 100% and were not doing it for the right reasons to begin with. Which is ETHICS!

Negative. To produce 1lb of beef it takes 2400 gallons of water, to produce a pound of wheat uses under 150 gallons of water. And 1lb of wheat can feed way more people then 1lb of beef can.

And the amount of land it takes to produce meat is much much larger than the amount to grow plants, and the yield is much less. If the whole world were to stop eating meat we would be able to feed everyone on the planet x2. Just facts. And free range grass fed animal agriculture is even more unsustainable than regular animal agriculture where the animals are locked in cages. Something like 70-80% of Amazon rainforest is cut down for animal agriculture, not for plants. Look up how much land/water it takes to feed a vegan for a year vs how much it takes to feed a beef eater
