The media likes Warren because she is dynamic and not running scared of Trump. Biden is looking for voters who are scared of Trump and are willing to vote for him because he is not Trump. Warren, On the other hand, presents new and innovative policies to improve the country going forward. Unfortunately, as far as I’m concerned, she is pushing Medicare for all which I oppose. I heard on the news this morning that the UAW workers in Michigan have a gold standard health care plan and will resist giving that up. Michigan is a key swing state. Perhaps she will back off of this platform.

I always thought, and sadly, that my country afforded me choices. It is sad to see those choices being limited for what people think is my own good. I like my plan for healthcare and you want to take that away from. I like my big SUV but the planet savers all feel that I'm the one ruining the planet. If I feel I need for a gun for protection or just sport that is trying to be taken away. If I have a preference for a political candidate I am deplorable and low IQ. What party is pushing for that?

And no one other than the people that report this crime has come forward to corroborate it. Not one.
Now Swetnick, who worked for Blasey Ford's father;well she made a lot of claims against a lot of folks didn't she?

I am fairly certain the dem candidates will not be able to get Medicare for all approved.

Big SUVs are available with hybrid and electric engines.

As long as you do not have a mental condition or a criminal record, you can have a gun for protecting yourself or hunting. However, you may not be allowed to have an assault weapon. You’ll be limited to hunting with a rifle or a shot gun - not much of a sacravice of your personal liberties. Assault weapons and mental conditions were the common denominators of the recent mass shootings and killings.

Not familiar with low IQ and political choice.

Normally i don't post on stuff like this, but giving up 2nd Amendment rights is very much a sacrifice of personal liberties. The 2A has nothing to do with hunting. Murders in the US are not an epidemic, despite what the news media says. There are 320m people in the US and about 20,000 murders. My calculator doesn't have that many zeros, but its .00006% or something like that. Murders, school shootings, violent crime, etc are all down since the 90's. The US isn't even in the top 75 countries for murder per capita. I believe the gun control debate has little to do with stopping actual crime, its about more easily controlling an unarmed population. Rifles only account for 1-2% of murders in the US (sub 500/yr), while blunt objects and stabbings kill about 3-4x that number. We should be talking about knife and baseball bat control instead....

Here's a good link to look at, FBI murder by weapon. As stated above murders are down although the actual number of deaths has gone up incrementally every year, this is of course because the population grows significantly more than the murder rate.

Writings like the constitution and various religious literature are meant to transcend time. Not trap you in it. The 2nd amendment is not firearm specific, it says plainly “shall not be infringed”. It’s meant to be very broad and simplistic. There are many things outside firearms that were not available then, but are protected today with that document.

There is no doubt the recent shootings are terrible, but infringing on millions of Americans and the constitution of this nation is not the solution. Just my opinion.

the ban you’re referring to happened in 1934. I wasn’t born yet, but it was definitely a major infringement.

Edit: Just wanted to say that the above are my opinions, and I don't expect to change anyone's mind. I respect views that are different than mine, and welcome free thought. America!
