As a means to making health care more available and affordable, I'll take the government not meddling in it, over getting even more involved all day long. Shortages of beds, health workers, pharmaceuticals, supplies... all resulting from ridiculous regulation and control. The more the feds control it, the higher the costs will rise, while quality of service and goods declines.
And while the CDC and FDA were busy wasting time and money on their vaping and fat-kids crusades, the administration was publicly entertaining the ideas of anti-vaxxers and giving voice to debunked vaccination myths. If we're not willing to hold these agencies accountable for actually addressing real epidemics (not their made up ones) and making solutions more available (not stifling innovation), we'd be far better off to privatize them.
