I think we can all agree I don't do that at the best of times.Originally posted by BigRooster View PostIn the end we either have to pay or we will get a reward. Just do your best to stay positive
No, I hate him, specifically the purest form of loathe and detest. He has a lot to make up for to a lot of people, his various exes, his own sons (which he stole money from), me, the youngest brother of the family, his own dad, his mother, his grandmother, the guy that lives with us, and the woman he was almost forcing into a relationship who is/was also a drug addict, and maybe even more people I don't know. Only thing I cared about is what he was doing to everyone else, but for some reason even though he stole $1100 from his own father in one week, his dad still gave him money which only enabled him further. For some reason people are willing to give him dozens of chances but don't learn.. Guessing you care for your step brother he’s an adult now. You need to worry about you. What happens to him is on him.
My uncle, on my dad's side, is an alcoholic and my father helped him for years, but when he got better and then fell off the wagon again my dad couldn't do it. It's one thing to help family, I get that and have done it, but there's a point you have to put a stop to such things and kick them out of your life, not help them ruin their life more.

The wonderful world of pinterest. Been looking at some cauliflower dishes. Came across one with a Mexican twist. Lean ground beef, jar of salsa, cheese and cauliflower. It said if you wanted you could add a can of black beans and I did. I also added a taco mix packet.
Cooked it all down three the cauliflower in last for about twenty minutes then go to add cheese to melt all over top. I dump the whole bag of shredded cheese and one whole clump is molded.
I’m not letting this dish go to waste. I grab the clump then start looking for more green cheese as it melts away. I managed to get a good bit. I ate a plate about thirty minutes ago. So far so good. I’m typing this, so time will tell.I like to reminisce with people I don't know. Steven Wright

If we don’t hear from you again BR we’ll know why. I’m gonna miss you.A prayer, is kinda the same as a "Like". If there are enough likes, God will take notice. So "Like" away please. My daughter needs your prayers. Thank You.

Rooster's recipe makes me miss eating cheese. I cut most dairy and cheeses out of my diet, with the exception of a little cream cheese or cream every once in awhile, because it was too easy to over eat cheesy dishes. I will have to slowly add it back to my diet along with nightshade vegetables, peanuts, treenuts, corn and soy, at some point.Sex is the great leveler, taste the great divider. - Pauline Kael

No I did not. I was going to use the liquid from can to deglaze my skillet. The can that I bought was cooked down already with no liquid. Kind of almost like a can of old El Paso refried beans. Made for a good thick dish. I will probably use it again.Originally posted by TheGreatDivider View PostDid you rinse the beans first?I like to reminisce with people I don't know. Steven Wright

Are you alright?
You okay?
Are you fine?
I have heard different versions of this question practically every day for the last few weeks of work and I am really starting to wonder what the hell is going on. I mean sure the bags under my eyes could hold groceries, even though I'm getting 7 hours of sleep, at least, a night. Sure, I've had to push down a few emotions lately and I've been angrier as of late (albeit not to people at work). Yes, the constant bus riding and incredible lack of free time is immensely draining. I have lost a lot of weight (how much I'm not sure until tomorrow).
But after all of that I have to wonder what is wrong with my face or how I'm looking. It's not like I look different from when I started the job. It's starting to become befuddling, to say the least, if not slightly irritating. I just don't get it. What the hell are they seeing?

I am only eating two meals and a protein bar a day while getting a lot of physical activity at the same time, from work. From the pedometer on my phone I'm walking about 10km a day, or if I'm cleaning a different area of the school I am moving in different ways.Originally posted by Wildflower View PostThe weight loss may be more whats concerning.... do u know why youre lossing weight??
I don't now of it's the weight loss they are noticing though, it seems to be something in the face area, maybe how I am carrying myself. I am not sure, but this one girl that I only worked with for a 2nd time, even asked me that. So something is clearly going on, I'm putting something out there or I look like death, no idea.Last edited by Dontrike; 02-14-2019, 11:46 PM.

Nothing like ranting to yourself and having a "conversation" with another person even though no one else is there because if you tried to have that conversation with them it still wouldn't do anything so you only end up irritating yourself more. I did it for an hour straight and all I ended up with is dry mouth.
I'm getting so annoyed by my living situation lately and really for no reason, but all of a sudden I am super irritated by a lot of it. If only I could have that conversation with anyone that could do anything about it, but nope.

Lately there's been a lot of people at my house, my youngest brother has had friends over, the other guy that lives here has had just as many people here, if not more so, and I think that because of the various stresses of work (which have been going on for months and only now starting to decrease) I chose this particular issue to get frazzled over. With my step-dad coming for Thanksgiving I'd love to discuss these issues with him to fix some of this, or other things, but I know it won't do anything, as this guy let his own son steal thousands from him.Originally posted by CUSP82 View PostTalk to us.
Part of me would love to move into my own place alone, but I know apartments I'd have to deal with the same random thumps above, and also below, and a house is too much to afford. It would be great to get my friend in here and somehow kick that other guy out so these things would decrease, but something tells me that won't happen any time soon.
I mean I was fine with this stuff, but then my brother's friends started having living issues and for like a month they were around more, staying the night, and asking to live here, and I just wasn't having any of it. After years of dealing with the "It'll only be for X months" or "They'll just be here for a while" I don't trust a single person moving in for any time unless I am the one in control of it. I couldn't tell my step-dad about this as he has a terrible track record of bringing people in the house, ranging from his own son to a god damn parrot, so I just made sure no one else would be here.
So basically I just needed to vent and I think the living situation is what I chose to rant about to an empty room in a hypothetical argument.
I guess I'm just tired of everything right now.
