Redefining Masculinity – Is it Time?

The family unit has been under attack for generations for the purposes of creating a slave class where both men and women have to work to pay their debts to bankers and to expand the tax base and put the government in charge of raising children to be good little worker bees on the tax farm. Feminism has gone from "equality" to actively demeaning men in the name of "progress" for the same purpose, but has served to tear the family apart by creating competition over the same responsibilities, with no one left to actually rear and guide the family.
Great value has been placed on traditionally "male" qualities, such as making money, being successful in business, etc, while traditionally "female" qualities have been regarded as "less than". Women are often made to feel bad about themselves if they decide to be a "stay at home mom". Like that's a lazy way out. Like raising children is something to be ashamed of. This is not progress, it's the culmination of a centuries-old agenda to divide and conquer the working class at the very root level in order exert more and more control over each of our lives and keep us indebted and in misery.
Add to that the overwhelming pressure on men these days to "be a man" from the male contingent (overly macho images, war, aggression in media portrayed to men), and to be a pushover from the female contingent (books, movies, tv portraying normal men as bumbling idiots caring about nothing but sex, while desirable men kiss the ground women walk on), and you have a recipe for confusion and disaster. There are almost no good role models for men or women these days...and that's not an accident. Guess who owns the media? The banks.
We are being farmed. Wake up and leave the farm forever.

Sorry but the major media outlets have more money than most banks.
As to making stay at home moms feel bad that's usually done by other women.
And why are banks bad? You want to buy a house or a car and you don't have the money they'll lend it to you. What's wrong with that? The world's still a toy if you just stay a boy!

He didn't say who has more money, he said they owned the media. I would also like to see something that would back this up. Women didn't seem to see it as a bad thing to be a stay at home mom in the past. This phenomenon has only been introduced into our cultures recently. No one said banks are bad either. He only suggested that banks control the media. The media controls our minds and thus banks control us. Of course they're gonna make you more money for a house than it's really worth and give the money to you so you work to pay them off for the rest of your life.Originally posted by CUSP82 View PostSorry but the major media outlets have more money than most banks.

It's not a bad thing overall, it's just how things are and if you're happy then more power to you. The thing is that most people are not happy. Most people are anxious and worried about their future and the future of their children. They work to make ends meet. This is as far as we have evolved or maybe devolved for that matter.
What the future holds depends on how are minds expand and if we are able to pass that on to next generations. How can we do that when the media, the school system, and pretty much everything that influences children is controlled by powerful people who only care about their power and put on a benevolent façade?

Source? The media has been consolidated into 6 major corporations that own everything. Who finances them? The big banks, who are entangled with every government and actually pull all of the strings to control the human farm. Those 6 corporations make billions in Federal monies, and control everything we read and watch. Conflict of interest? The Federal Reserve and IMF are good examples to explore. This is not a new phenomenon in human history, but it's more blatant and global now than ever. You can't separate the media from the government or either from their financiers. They are different parts of the same beast.Originally posted by CUSP82 View PostSorry but the major media outlets have more money than most banks.
Exactly, through the guise of feminism. What could be more effective than pitting women against each other?Originally posted by CUSP82 View PostAs to making stay at home moms feel bad that's usually done by other women.
Very simple viewpoint. Banking is not bad in the example you described. But is that all banks do? Hardly. Fractional reserve banking and control of sovereign nations' money supply has created an all powerful cabal of financial and government control. Again, look at the Federal Reserve and their charter. What's most wrong is that these people are above the law. When the banks gambled away billions of dollars of our money, who went to jail? Who lost their job? Nobody who was responsible for the engineered crisis did. In fact, they got "bailed out" which constituted the greatest transfer of wealth in human history. They can lie under oath. They can fix and manipulate LIBOR rates, which affect TRILLIONS of dollars of trade. They can fund the drug trade (see HSBC). They can do all of this in public view with no repercussions. Imagine what they do in private?Originally posted by CUSP82 View PostAnd why are banks bad? You want to buy a house or a car and you don't have the money they'll lend it to you. I won't belabor the point, as I've learned that people are either ready to see it or they are not. But nothing is happening by chance, and all of it is connected and can be traced through history. The methods of control are the same, but the applications are different.

The rise of hypermasculinity is not simply the result of one or two factors but the convergence of several issues feeding into the collective. What I will tell you, however, is that attempting to remedy its devastating effects on the male gender by neutering their innate nature with political correctness or by feminizing them is definitely not the answer.
While I am not so naïve to believe that solutions can be found overnight, I do think there is still much we can do as individuals. For example:
1. With rising divorce rates, children are often left in the care of the mother. Not only does this leave boys without a strong male influence, it often results in these male children being placed in the role of “surrogate spouses”. They are often expected – either directly or indirectly - to assume the role of “man of the house”; with all its stresses and burdens yet without possessing the level of maturity to understand or cope with such a role or even what it means. So they frequently look outward (often in the wrong places) to help them determine how they can best accomplish that responsibility – a responsibility that they shouldn’t have to shoulder in the first place. So while divorce cannot always be avoided, ensuring that they do not make the male child a “surrogate spouse” can be.
2. We need to stop classifying human emotions, personality traits and characteristics as being gender-specific. Using the term “be a man” often implies that the male in question is exhibiting characteristics usually associated with women; which is limiting and insulting to both genders.
3. Rather than generalizing and using blanket statements such as “Be a man” “Man up” “Stop being a pussy”, why not explain specifically what the issue is? By telling him exactly what the problem is, he then has a better chance of addressing and fixing it should he choose to.
4. Emotions are normal – all of them. They are part of the human experience. We need to remind and assure the male gender of this. More importantly, we need to help them learn how to express them in a healthy and constructive manner.
Finally, as I have said before, we need to accept that there are innate differences between the sexes and allow for those differences without reprimand or reproach and instead create a society that embraces and celebrates both.Last edited by TPW; 03-08-2014, 07:48 AM.

The feminist culture has really fucked up societies. I watched a seminar by David Deangelo years ago called "on being a man". Men have lost touch with what it means to be a man and either mistake it for aggressive behavior or become complete wussies as deangelo calls them. What I would like is for guys to chime in and talk about what it means to be a real man. I don't think that there has been a time in history in which men have been emasculated by women as much as they have now. Feminism is the greatest evil that society has ever been afflicted with.

Excellent thread TPW!
I wished I could be like a stay at home mum, I would stay home and play all day with my son, we are best friends and growing up together, no one could make me feel bad for spending time with him.
It does seem men have lost their identity, I wholeheartedly agree that being told "to be a man" is very damaging, I have heard this from my parents also, such statements make men question their place in this world, as if being a man was something you could achieve by copying someone else. God made man, no additional acting required!
I used to feel very conflicted as a teenager and still do sometimes (my own fault for listening to ignorance), being led to believe that to be a man you have to be aggressive, ignorant and intolerant. That being benevolent, emotional and caring is weak, womanly, homosexual and certainly not manly.
The full spectrum of emotion are given to man to experience in full, playing a fixed role is for robots, to quote my favourite sage " man in harmony with living is fluid and yielding, man in harmony with dying is rigid"
Teaching people (not just man) to be anything other than what they already are, is teaching people to hate themselves, to be false. Be yourself, but by all means be the best you - you can be!

Ok I'll go first:
decision maker (and takes the lead)
rational
in control
Does not submit
Man of few words
Does not let anybody disrespect him, his family, or his friends.
Couragous
Never looks for approval
Is always calm and mysterious
Never bitches about anything but discusses them sensibly
Has a great sense of humor but is extremely serious when the situation requires it.
No one affects a real man. A real man is a straight line in the face of hardship and emotions. A woman is wavy. You should keep it straight and not follow the wavy line. Let her know how she should act by looking at you.
I have never laid a hand on a woman nor do I ever intend on doing that. If she acts like a bitch I give her an ultimatum and if she keeps at it I instintly show her the fucking door, no arguments no shit. They usually comecrawling back like little dogs begging for my forgiveness. That's much more manly and gratifying than beating a woman.

i have so much to say that i cant even think how im going to put them all in a few posts. so i'll make this quick, being a man means standing up for urself and ur peers, if ur friend is getting beat up by a bunch of kids and u dont do nothing ur a fucking pussy, if u get urself into a situation that u cant handle, and u run like a chump and beg others for help, ur not a man. now of course everyone needs help, but if u put urself and others at risk and u back off and rely on others help that makes u a pussy. if u cant stand up for urself and need 10 more guys against 1 guy then ur a little girl inside.
i cant agree with kirkoloft enough, "I don't think that there has been a time in history in which men have been emasculated by women as much as they have now". so i respect that thepassionatewife is trying to fix the situation as a woman. women have depended on men since adam and eve days lol, but now with the rise of feminism, they can depend even more and also call themselves strong for being able to keep their husbands in check. how? well we all know how the law is always pro-women. constant threats, social pressure for not man enough for the wife just cuz she didnt get what she wanted, and at the end, cheating/divorcing cause the man listened to his wife too much. it doesnt u with a choice of manning up cuz u know even that will bring some sort of trouble. thats when u decide whether ur the type of guy who will continue to take shit from females for the rest of his life and pass it onto his children, or ur gonna man the fuck up and deal with the consequences and teach ur children something good so they dont make the mistakes u already have made.
u can never balance shit out, theres always going to be something in your plate that u wont like until u die, so i'd rather die a man than live under a womans foot! i understand that maybe the majority of the forum is pro-feminine so i truly apologize if i offended u.

I don't think the forum is pro women, I think its just anti negativity toward any specific group.
You remember the film Jurassic Park one of the scientists he says "that all vertebrate embryos start out female they are just given hormone at the right time to make them male" this would explain why men have nipples. Anyone know if this is true?"Those who know others have knowledge,

I agree Namso...however, what do we say to the young boy whose father (or other relatives) tell him to "stop being a pussy" or "be a man"? He is likely to be ill-equipped to handle such admonishments, especially from a loved one.Originally posted by namsokiek View PostThe least manliest thing a guy can do is to bow to the peer pressure of an idiot who will say, "Be a man."

i couldnt finish the video The Effects Of Emasculation Part 1, cuz my heads burning right now. at 8 minutes when this girl says its not traditional for a woman to pay, well u really wanna start with traditional talk? do we really have to remind u how woman were traditionally treated before feminist cunts took over earth!?
u know this is the whole fuken problem, men dont stand up for themselves anymore, maybe its cuz we only knew how to stand up to ourselves cuz women never dared running their mouth up in traditional times, but we're not supposed to worship any gender. yeah maybe go 50/50 on all expenses with ur husband/boyfriend and we'll talk about sharing huh? and u won't blow me if i dont pay ur dinner? ok dont go running ur mouth about PLEASING YOU in bed then and be a good dog/bitch if u want us to feed u like dogs with forks.
let me add to this a bit. i would stay at MY house (which ur husband bought with his money only, since u know u dont have a job :O), send my kids to school, watch reality TV all day, go out and shop with my husbands car, pay for the gas with my husbands home-grown cash (cuz money grows on trees right? it has to, otherwise u would bitch ur husband to death), then come home, wait for ur husband to coem home while u watch TV all day, watch ur husband all tired from his hard day of work (which u dont give a shit about), ignore his anger cuz there is no food in the table or the refridgerator, AGAIN, he obviously has no choice but to eat out cuz he wouldnt want his beloved wife to be angry, and after spending some of his money at the restaurant i'm too tired to have sex and make his night a little better than his day, i'll just send him to work so he can be my dog again.Originally posted by burtybassetI wished I could be like a stay at home mum, I would stay home and play all day with my son, we are best friends and growing up together, no one could make me feel bad for spending time with him.
