Me too. Finding the waters is kind of a hobby of mine. But it's very hard. Not only are there an insane amount of variables, but global culture is replacing regional culture to the point that broad statistics aren't necessarily representative. And I don't mean it as an opinion, but simply the fact that you can get Monster energy drink in ukraine, and there are people in Finland who listen to Joe Rogan.

I stem from Scandinavia, and the amount of coffee and rye consumption I grew up with is insane. I mean literally insane. It's a part of every meal and post-meal ritual. And traditionally, heart diseases and neurodegenerative diseases have been infrequent there. But these days the statistics aren't much different from Canada, for example.

Japan has been big on fermentation even in recent times. And might be the only country with a long standing modern cultural relationship with Vitamin K2. But younger generations are as aware of Kit-Kat as the rest of us. Probably more.

So what was in the waters, what's in the waters now and is it even possible to isolate it?

When we look at diets that aren't so great, they're often "fad" diets that people can't stick with or extreme diets that cut out important food groups and/or over-consume others.

There is one group of foods that seem to be on the "don't eat" list of all these top diets - processed/refined foods. Artificially added (as opposed to naturally occurring) sugars also makes this list.
Agreed. Another similarity across Mediterranean, Nordic, Japan/Korean (world leaders in low obesity rates) diets is the inclusion of a large amount of locally sourced vegetables. I eat quite a bit of meat (primarily poultry) and not as much fish as I'd like to. But I've essentially replaced all the glucose foods with vegetables over the past 5 years or so and maintaining my body composition at 53 years old, which usually hovers around 12% - 13% BF has never been more consistent.

Yes, people in those countries do tend to eat local veggies and a variety of them. You mentioned fish - they all have a high fish diet, too. I'm like you, don't eat as much fish as I should. Kind of hard to find a variety truly wild caught around here, but I also just have a habit of grabbing the usuals - beef, pork and poultry, so not making excuses.

My bf hovers around 11-13%, so not doing too bad keeping a balanced western style diet along with exercise (sans the crap alot of US people eat).
          Start: BPEL 6.75', EG 5.8", BPFL 4.5", FG 4.7", BPFSL 7.0"

          • I think their portions are just way smaller too from what footage i've seen of their "standard" meal that would help in droves...

Like the western fast food culture the average meal is like 1200-1500 calories per meal for most people that's 80% of their daily requirement, then they pile another 2 decent sized portions on top of that.

Just because they're skinny on the outside doesn't mean they're not fat on the inside....

obesity is relative to the fact that you can still be obese aka high body fat percentage relative to a low weight... you can still have a 31" waist and still get cardiovascular disease, diabetes, stroke heart attack. etc

it means you body is demanding something with actual Nutritional value

which it tried with those plants and nothing came of it(but sugar). plant eaters are starving of Nutrients.(nutritional deficiency) as well as morbidly obese people...

fruits(too much sugar..) vegetables don't even have any in them(Nutrients).... so why do you keep trying to tell everyone that they do?? when it's not even bio available to the human animal ..... you're not a cow correct? .

that is why i ask how often is the consumption....

that is my point when is the next sugar feeding? why do plant eaters become hungry way more often or start snacking more often?..

                  pyramid scam...

you know who's guideline it really is correct? it's actually not a governmental guide line it was made up by LARGE
corporations and the dietetics (which is also sponsored by the sugar industry and the same LARGE corporations )

So the people who are actually pushing this whole plant based garbage is the same 9 large corporations that are selling plant based junk food. that is who you're promoting ...

he is a steroid user... and sounds like the parrot from Aladdin you can't even take his seriously

but he does claim to eat fruits and vegetables and that they don't taste good

They taste like shit because they're are not spouse to be eaten .. aka taste bitter you can't even eat raw beans without killing your self..

celery gives you Photo sensitivity (psoralens a mild poison aka active chemical )

peanuts and nuts. Deadly toxic to some humans ( this enough should stop you from eating them)

                      beans contain
linamarin a heavy duty poison (hydrogen cyanide)

                      Tomatos contain solanine

                      broccoli contains
isothiocyanates which has antithyroid effects...(this means is fucks with your hormonal levels)

                      Soy beans have Phytoestrogens
this mimics womanly estrogens we know this is possible since BPA can mimic estrogen as well

.. gynecomastia erectile dysfunction etc.. soy boy voice...

basically anything else that taste bitter, and unpleasant. should not be eaten ... this pretty much means all vegetables seeds and fruits (the unpleasant part is getting rotten teeth. seeds will break your teeth...)

fast food is gernerally 90-95% plants ( majority is corn syrup in a a drink) a burger is 70-90% processed plants a "meal is 90-95% plants"

Physdoc and I are both around 12% BF and we include vegetables in our diet. Is 12% too high? What's your BF on your meat-only diet?

What does a person's voice have to do with their credibility on a subject? Your grammar and spelling are horendous but that's not why your argument doesn't have credibility.

                          • This explains a lot on why vegans all look malnourished. Whenever I eat a lot of veggies or fruit I'm always hungry again about an hour later. Before long I'm out in the kitchen looking for something with substance to it.

Calcium from plants just turn into

D2 again is a precurse (no proof it can be converted to D3) D3 is an animal hormone you can't get from plants

Why you refuse to try the vegan diet you know and i know it's going to fuck your body up.. you're going to lose all your muscle mass ( their is a small chance you will become obese (if you're still able to make animal fats but based on your claim of 12% body fat it means you can't anymore..) and most likely die of a western or 3rd world d
                              isease otherwise...

you also never mentioned your weight... you could be a body bag of bones for all i know.

                              is that correct or not?

see all the bad shit from plants They don't want to be eaten by you.... this is why they create toxic poison.. go some real natural wild peas you will die.. from food poisoning

                              you still have not answer...

that is why i ask how often is the consumption??.... and why won't do the vegan diet?

the vegans on the vegan diet are lies they cheat and eat animals pretty often Esp the guys that body build on the "vegan diet" they use steroids to extract the maximum amount from the animal products they eat...
