The advancements in medicine in the last 50 years is absolutely amazing. And it is advancing geometrically.

Without a doubt hsarge, and what I've seen over the last 30 years is unbelievable! I truly appreciate your insight.

Please don't take my statements as being counter to development and advancement - I'm 100% in. It's just that these advancements are made available to us after careful evaluation and studies. In general, the unproven, untested, experimental procedures are not made available to the general public by simply walking into a clinic, putting down money and getting it done. Studies are done by obtaining willing individuals who understand the risks in undergoing experimental tests or procedures, often they are paid for their efforts (not the one doing the procedure), and those individuals agree to long-term follow-up to determine the outcome of the test or procedure.

In this case, one must be willing to take the risks, pay up front and take their chances without much knowledge as to how successful it will be.

Caution and time hsarge... that's all I'm recommending.

Craysrob1: I think we are in agreement. PRFM is tested for certain applications; for others, more testing is necessary. I got the inference (and not from you) that the entire procedure was 'voodoo' medicine. 50 years ago bovine heart valves in humans would be looked at as ridiculous, but now it is common practice. Ceramic hip replacement, are you kidding me? If PRFM just helps ED, it would be of value. I hope others will be able to evaluate the process. Thanks again for all your experienced input.

I think we all agree that science and medicine make advancements. Procedures that were once thought to be ridiculous or impossible sometimes become established treatments -- after many years of experimentation and testing.
There is often considerable trial and error involved in developing new treatments.
The real question you need to ask yourself is "Do I want to be the guinea pig, the one they practice on?"
Lots of mistakes are made along the way of developing new treatments -- what if your penis was one of those failures?

If you are involved in a legitimate clinical trial of a new procedure, then you will be informed of the risks and cared for properly. The risks will be minimized.
If you buy a treatment from a lone doctor who runs a website with no supervision.... well, you might get lucky.
Or not.

It is a bit voodoo-ish in that what has been proposed and when and under what conditions it becomes accepted medical practice are unknown. Medicine does improve, but it does slowly, for the health and safety of human beings.No one can look in a crystal ball and tell what the future holds but this particular procedure more than likely is a decade or two away.Hey we're all here for the same thing and if someone were to come up with a technique other than pe that would give me two inches, be permanent ( meaning I don't have to go back every year or two and get it done again) I'd be wiping out my mastercard right now.Much more study,clinical trials, and long term effects must be studied before it can be considered safe.But it would be nice wouldn't it?

Besides the money, why wouldn't you want to come back every year or two. Botox (which is poison, but approved) is that way, many fillers are that way, teeth whitening is that way. Cialis has a daily pill. Otherwise you must use viagra each time you wish to have sex. Those prescriptions are not cheap. Bovine heart valves need to be replaced every 8 to 15 years. Many medical procedures need to be repeated. Stents close and must be removed/reopened. Organ transplants do not always last forever. As I repeated often, platelet spinning is a proven healing process, just not yet with the penis. But since the body accepts these injections for joint repair, organ tissue, and burn skin grafts, etc., It would appear to do no harm to other donor tissues. BW, many drug trials such as chemo therapy are very toxic; this procedure is not toxic, just not proven for penis enlargement.

I'm sure you would have joined the chorus against Dr. Christian Barnard when his first heart transplants died or the doctors who implemented the first artificial hearts and pump assist devices. Those ideas were 'to good to be true'; they are now routine. People routinely inject caverject, etc. into the penis. These are chemicals. PRFM is your own body's serum. It may do nothing, but it is not a foreign chemical. But this is becoming repetitive, so I will cease.

And there you have, in my humble opinion, the crux of the issue: risks justified to save a life are far greater than risks justified to get a bigger dick.

One would only hope for humainities sake that were true.Imagine if we took the money used to study and perform useless cosmetic procedures maybe saved a life or feed some hungry children! I'm sure someone should have a comment about that but who cares!

Noble to wish to feed the hungry; I bet the 200 million per day we spend on foreign wars or unneeded military base would go a long way. Oh, ask a burn victim if PRFM is a life saving procedure. And get it straight; its not a chemical. Its your own blood products.

Yes it would be nice if we had an ideal world where money was spent on people and not on useless things called war.My generation was going to change all that; no more wars, peace and love for everybody, no one homeless or hungry.I don't know what happened. Maybe we just got tired.Maybe the world was just too strong a force for my generation to change.I really don't know. You are young and idealistic and I hope your idealism can change the world for the better.Make peace, cure the sick, feed the hungry, shelter the homeless, make the world what it should be but the last thing to change is how we look, how big our dicks are, or no crowsfeat by our eyes,or saggy boobs and so on.What we are is important and not what we look like. That should be our last prioity.Go change the world if you can and some from my generation will try to help. Just don't get old and tired and give up like we did.Remember always that wrinkles only grow where the smiles have been and it's always nice to see a smile or know that one has been there.
