I just go the Bathmate Hercules today and tried it out. I did about 20-30 jelq first and a few kegels. I then followed the directions (which took a little bit of getting used to in the shower; however, I think I may have a problem keeping the suction (wonder if any has some suggestions-I did make sure there was no lubricant, as directions stated). I had to continue to pump it about every 30-45 seconds, sort of half pumps. Since it was the first time, I only did it about 10 minutes (got it to about 16). When I took it off, I did see a minor change in length, maybe a half inch? but nothing in girth. I'm going to stick with it, as so far, it seems that it would work, if I could get better suction. I hope someone answers on that aspect.

I also received it today. I attempted to use it, but I am quite fearful of damage. What signs should I watch out for? How many 'pumps' should a novice perform?

I've been using the Bathmate for 2-months. My max was about 160. I'm doing around a hair above 150 steady.

Bathmate is crazy i wear my extender all day then use bathmate and do about 6 10 minute intense pumps. Been doing this not long 3 days to be exact and last night after i got out bath my flaccid length measured 6' which is my erect length. Obviously this is only temp but if your dedicated then yes bathmate can be very useful. My penis head is saw after extreme session yesterday so rest day today and back on tomorrow.

To answer your question Sick go for the Hydromax and use it according to the manuel. The suction is strong and it hurts.

Hercules is good i got that and does the job perfect

The Hercules is the original model good for small guys but will max out around 6" girth and about 8 1/2" length
The Goliath was the second model for the porn industry and men starting of around 8"x6"
The Hydromax X30 is slightly bigger than the Hercules but the claim 30% increase in pressure.

I'm using the Hercules at present with some good results.

Buy a new one. I have owned a bathmate for nearly 2 years and cannot think of using anybody else's due to personal hygeine reasons.

Well you can see my routine under 3/8 inch girth gain in one month, in the success forum. I only do 6 min sets. I take 1 min breaks in between sets but depending on the day, I do 4 to 8 sets. I get a little donut of fluid build up but I jelq it away in a few min after im done pumping. And you say overboard, which I understand, but I see gains and have no injuries with this routine. Its been over a month now and my penis is growing and in great health.

Do you have any length gains yet from this??

Just giving a heads up some people have said the Hydromax has a few problems or is more difficult to work with. Idk first hand because im happy with just the Hercules nothing wrong with it and it works great. no better way to start the new year then to gain some girth and length for your fella. hope to see you all soon on your post on upgrading to the Goliath. dont forget to warm up and do your jelqing as well.

This might sound weird but, anyone selling a used Bathmate... maybe you've upgraded? I'm still leery and don't want to drop $120 + shipping (I'm in Canada so if customs isn't involved even better) on it in case I don't like it.

Does everyone get discolouration from the Bathmate? Is it less severe in the Hydromax? My base girth is about 5.7" so I'm wondering whether I should wait for the Hydromax X40 to come out in the next few months or buy the X30. I'm also worried about those marks on the base of your shaft, they can look horrific, I'm hoping the X40 won't have that problem because of the bigger opening.
