you have to go really tight with the wrapping of the SS, and external wrap. (i use a SS, thera band combo). i pull both very tight and tape them with scoth tape. once i squeeze all the blood out of the head, it helps it from getting back in. it also reduces the pain you speak of, but in my experience, ive gotten that pain from hanging from the moment i started, though when you wrap it tight, it goes away after about 30 seconds

Unfortunately, I think I am at the stage where I need to re-learn how to wrap. My gains have stopped. I will try the 2"x9" wrap using a shirt. However, what would work better, the gray Theraband? Or the adhesive stretchy ACE bandage wrap?
Also, how do you calculate how many threads should be showing on the bottom of the Bib hanger? Is it in relation to my girth? Or just when it's "tight"?
Thanks in advance
Just hanging around as usual :)

I am using the regular Bib hanger. I think I would sustain an injury were I using the Bib starter with that type of weight. These days, the I use the screws and nuts from my Bib starter to replace worn counterparts on my regular Bib hanger.Originally posted by badd View PostAwesome pics buddy. Please can you confirm if that is a bib starter or bib original?
I currently have the starter and I am hanging 22 pounds comfortably with it. However I am not sure if I can hang 50 pounds with it. Please can you confirm whether you are hanging 50 pounds with the bib starter.
Also how and what do u use to wrap?
Thanks a lot.
I use the Theraband for my wrap.
I use a 1.5" x 14" piece to wrap from 1.5 - 2" from the bottom of my glans to the base.NOV 2001: NBPEL, 5.90 in

I could never get theraband to work for me. It always bunched up and caused pinching.Originally posted by Southpaw View PostUnfortunately, I think I am at the stage where I need to re-learn how to wrap. My gains have stopped. Wrap goes by girth. With the starter model, from what I have seen helping guys 10-12 threads showing between the hanger hing and the adjustment nuts seems about right. Regardless of amount of wrap. With the hardcore model 6-8 threads seems more optimal. From what I've seen so far:
You determine how much wrap is needed with the following sizing guide. To measure yourself for wrapping, you will first need to know your erect mid-shaft penis girth. This is just like it sounds, the girth of your penis measured with a tape measure (soft type not metal) when erect, at mid-shaft. This is not a contest to see who is biggest or to throw numbers around. This is to help you determine the proper amount of wrap needed. Once you know your mid-shaft erect girth write it down. Now, go by the following sizing guide. Wraps are two inches wide.
Wrap Sizing: First, make sure you have a 12 inch ruler and some sharp scissors handy. If your erect mid-shaft girth is 4 inches, you will use a 10 inch length of sweatshirt material and a 10 inch length of self adhesive wrap.
If your erect mid-shaft girth is 4 and a half inches, use a 9 inch length of sweatshirt material and a 9 inch length of self adhesive wrap.
If your erect mid-shaft girth is 5 inches, use a 8 inch length of sweatshirt material and a 8 inch length of self adhesive wrap.
If your erect mid-shaft girth is 5 and a half inches, use a 7 inch length of sweatshirt material and a 7 inch length of self adhesive wrap.
If you are like myself, and your erect mid-shaft girth is 6 inches, use a 6 inch length of sweatshirt material and a 6 inch length of self adhesive wrap.
If your mid-shaft erect girth is 6 and a half inches, use a 5 inch length of sweatshirt material and a 5 inch length of self adhesive wrap.
If your mid-shaft erect girth is 7 inches, use a 4 inch length of sweatshirt material and a 4 inch length of self adhesive wrap.
If you are bigger or smaller than the sizes listed above, it should be pretty self explanatory on how to move up or down in wrap amounts. Do not worry about a quarter inch increment. If you are for example, 5 and a quarter inches or close to that, go with the advice for the guy with a 5 inch erect mid-shaft girth. As another example, if you are over 5 and a half inches in erect mid-shaft girth but not 6 inches in erect mid-shaft girth, use the advice for the guy with a 6 inch erect mid-shaft girth.
Now that you know what length of each wrap material to use, use your rule and go ahead and cut a measured length of the self adhesive wrap first. Make sure you do NOT stretch the self adhesive wrap as you cut it. You are cutting it un-stretched. As said above in the beginning, the self adhesive wrap will act as a "stencil" for you to cut your sweatshirt material. Lay your sweatshirt out on a flat surface. I suggest using a sleeve of the sweatshirt as your first location for cutting your first piece of wrap. Poke a hole in the side of the sleeve that is facing you with the scissors. Now, lay your piece of self adhesive wrap on the sleeve near that hole. Carefully cut around that piece of self adhesive wrap width-wise first. Then, cut length-wise. Try not to stretch the sweatshirt material as you cut it. The edges of the sweatshirt material do not need to match up perfectly with those of the self adhesive wrap. Just get them close. You may find it helpful to use a piece of tape and tape down one end of the self adhesive wrap to the sweatshirt while cutting it, to help hold it in place more easily.Whenever you cut new pieces of wrap, use the same un-stretched measurements as before.
How To WrapWrapping is actually very simple. Make sure you are flaccid. Grab your penis by the glans and gently give it a tug forward until it stops stretching. While still holding this light stretch, use your ruler to measure back from the "ridge" of your glans toward your body about one inch. Around this one and one half inch mark is where the front edge of your wraps will go. As you get more experienced with wrapping, placement of your wrap will become second nature and you will not have to measure back with the ruler. Take your sweatshirt material and lay one end over your penis at the previously measured spot. It may help you to stretch again while you wrap. Wrap the sweatshirt material snugly around your penis and then hold it in place with one hand. Each wrap around your penis will be one layer on top of the other. Try to line up the edges visually while wrapping. The edges do not have to be perfectly aligned, but it will help with comfort if they are close. Now, grab your self adhesive wrap. Place the self adhesive wrap by one end where you left off with the sweatshirt material. Wrap the self adhesive wrap around your penis as snugly as you did the sweatshirt material. Now, with both hands, squeeze on top of the self adhesive wrap along the entire length. Do this a few times to ensure the wrap properly bonds to itself. You may need to practice wrapping a few times before you get it right. Just be patient, you will get it! Whether or not you are circumcised will not change how you wrap. Un-circumcised men will wrap the same way. Just leave your forskin over your glans and make a mental note of where the ridge of your glans is to measure for wrap placement.Last edited by malehanger; 05-25-2012, 11:21 AM.

Well, despite no gains and possibly loss in size, at least it didn't seem to harm his EQ. He claimed during the show that it got "hard as concrete", so hard that he even hurt the women with it (very doubtful). His penis had also turned almost black.Originally posted by malehanger View PostFrom what I understand of guys who do this stuff, they actually have a method (have not found clear details yet) of wrapping the attachment around the whole "package" (penis & scrotum) and not just the penis itself.

I have a question regarding heavy weight hanging.
Since I am accustomed to hanging heavy weights (i.e., 50 pounds), is there any benefit in hanging lighter weights (e.g., 20 pounds)?NOV 2001: NBPEL, 5.90 in

That wont be a good idea unless after a long deconditioning break (6 months plus).Originally posted by sdaddy View PostI have a question regarding heavy weight hanging.

You have to feel some sort of fatigue when you hang. If you are getting that at 50 pounds and above, then stay at that weight. With someone as experienced like you, I doubt you will feel any sort of fatigue with 20 pounds. As long as you are hanging comfortably at 50 pounds then don't go back down. Best thing would be to add more sets to your routine rather than go for lighter weights.
Personally, I don't think the amount of weights matter. What matters is; 'Fatigue and Comfort'. If I am getting 'both' at 20 pounds, I will hang at 20 pounds. If I am getting 'both' at 50 pounds I will hang at 50 pounds.
Hope it helps.

If you're following a progressive hanging approach, you should already know the answer.Originally posted by sdaddy View PostI have a question regarding heavy weight hanging.

Is hanging conducive to a 4 on 3 off schedule? Most of the stickies say that too many rest days is detrimental to gains, they state that hanging is better when in a fatigued state most of the time

It is important to reach and maintain fatigue, but I do enjoy taking weekends off. I don't think over the long haul a couple days off per week will be detrimental to gains if you are using the progressive approach.Originally posted by Padawan787 View PostIs hanging conducive to a 4 on 3 off schedule?
