DAY 6 QUESTION - 12 Days of Christmas Giveaway

What's your favorite holiday movie and why?

(Personally, mine is Christmas Vacation. The dysfunctional holiday gathering of family... yeah, that's what Christmas is all about! LOL)

For me is Home Alone and Nightmare before christmas.

Why? Because as a kid I grew up watching home alone during the Christmas holiday and it always takes me back to my childhood memories which were actually pretty good. I remember watching this movie with my brother and sister and eating a big bowl of ice cream with bananas and chocolate fudge. (True story)

Nightmare before Christmas - because it's a damn good movie and even though the song "this is Halloween" runs through my head all day after I watch it. I personally feel like this is a Christmas movie.

I'm kinda a traditionalist on Christmas movies. It's a Wonderful Life & Miracle on 34th Street are BOTH my favorite Christmas movies (the original B&W versions, not the "colorized" crap)! So, it's a "tie" on which are my favs.

LOVE! Walmart had the pink bunny onesie last year... so, yes, I bought it for MrKimberly (because this is one of his fav movies too)... and, yes, I made him wear it Christmas morning.

And, yes, he hasn't worn it since! LOL

Jingle All the way would me mine, saw this when I was a little kid so at that time everything was funny, plus Arnold Schwarzenegger is in it!. Every time I watch in now, it would give me a nostalgia feeling on how easy it was as a kid not worrying anything other than if Santa is going to be gifting me what I want for Christmas.

YES!! I actually have a Turboman in a tote in storage somewhere! Not in the box, but I found him at a Goodwill, and he even has the jet pack with the wings that pop out!

"You're my number one customer!" LOL

I always used to watch a Disney clip-show called From all of us to all of you, It has been broadcast every year on television in Scandinavia since the 70s.

Mine would have to be The Grinch. Not the new one, but the original animated version. My family has always been a very fun and pretty sarcastic group so The Grinch is just the best when we're all together. It's just a great time from everyone singing along in our own way where we kind of make fun of the movie and each other to my mother making a comment about her childhood dog being named Max like the one in the movie. Watching The Grinch is something we still do every year as a family during the holidays even though some years we'll only get all of us together for a day or two
