    • Dang, had every intention of PE'ing today, just haven't had the time or the right mindset to do so. I did other exercises today though. 55 pushups total, a whopping 6 pull ups and ran good and hard for about 10 minutes and then walked for another 15.

      OK so I've been working out for about a month and a half (pushups and running) and really only eating 1 meal a day except for weekends (not good but se la vie). I have only lost about 4 pounds. I want to do an experiment. Mwa haha!

      Here's the details. I'm going to keep everything the same in regards to exercising but I'm now going to conjunction that with my weight loss smoothie for lunch. I want to see how much of a difference that makes in loosing weight. I will give it two weeks to see how much weight I can loose. Hopefully I can inspire others who have desired to lose weight but stalling due to lack of direction and motivation. Wish me good luck!

        Sounds like a classic case of "Member of the Month" Syndrome. Happens to all the lucky f*ckers who earn the distinction (note it is not next to my name, ). But I'm not bitter, they gave me a Mod position instead, to which I am grateful.

        Just a story to share. Lost 50 pounds in college after some girl told me I was getting a little chubby. Went fro 235 down to 185 in the course of a year. How? you may ask.... My diet was one that a college student could understand. One meal a day - I chose dinner as that was the most nutritious. Followed this one meal a day for 6 days a week. Then on the 7th day I could eat anything and everything I wanted from sun up to sun down. I chose Saturdays as my binge day as Roast Beef was the dinner that day. Here is the kick, I had dieted for 6 days before and my stomach had shrunk so that I could not longer eat everything I wanted - yet I was still satisfied. Work hard for the 7th day but when you get there, you can't eat like you want to. Win-Win. Anyway, lost a boat load of weight. AND if I needed a snack, it was popcorn, no butter - empty calories but satisfied a hungry guy. May not be healthy, but it worked for me.

        • ZZMan, thanks for that! A year ago I went from 220 to 189 in 8 weeks doing the smoothie M-F, Sat and Sun were free days. I like the 6 days to shrink your stomach idea and also the low cal snack idea. Appreciate it brother! Also thanks for the proper diagnosis , any known cures or will I always be this jacked up?

            I'm afraid to say along with "Member of the Month Syndrome" also come the "Freshman 20", so expect a small setback while your enjoy your accolades. Known cures are to give "Rep" points to your favorite Moderators. Give ridiculous likes to everything silly they comment on, and continue to start new awesome threads that really engage the membership. In other words, continue on as you have been. You sir, are a fun member.

                • Man, the GYM has been dead tonight... well, that must mean that everyone else must have lives! Not I, said the Burrito. Well enough griping... lol.

                  Did 5 pull ups and 25 pushups.....hmmm I've always wondered why you separate the pull from the up in spelling "pull ups" but keep the push and up together in "pushups". If you haven't guessed yet...I'm bored. We'll if you want to know where to find me, check my location .

                    Thanks! I think the extender helped a lot. Side to side stretches are powerful though. Additionally my burrito has responded really well to jelqing, some have success with that others, not so much.

                    • Started the smoothie again today. Weight 192lbs. Did 25 pushups and ran a short bit until my dog gave out one me. Guess I need to pick up my PE exercises again...just been really enjoying the break and having too much fun in other ways here .

                          • Drank a 5th of Sherry and a shot of JB and chased it with 3 vegas bombs last night...yeah, I'm sure that was really healthy. But I did do a smoothie, that's got to count for something right???
