    • Well, my springs broke. The screw just snapped out while I tightened the belt, I've tried putting it back together but it doesn't work. Do I need to order a spare part? I really don't want to bother with that, not doing well financially at the moment. Maybe I can take this opportunity and start hanging.

      • My springs have come out several times. You can easily assemble them again.

Usually it loosens at the base off the rods, and the spring comes out of the hollow part of the rod. The spring is fixed between a screw at the top, and the cap at the bottom, that closes up on the hollow rod.
So when you pull the color coded rod comes out of the base of the hollow rod, thereby compressing the spring between the screw at the top of the rod and the (detachable) base of the hollow rod. You can carefully disassemble the other rod, to see how it should look. Several people have written that they have changed the springs themselves.
Starting ADS januar 2018 at 5.3 BPEL and 5.3 EG
Current and still (end of 2020) at 7.1 BPEL and 6.1 EG
Goal 7.5 BPEL and 5.9 EG

Hey Ehhhm, I just pressed the detachable bottom part of the hollow rod with the color rod and they snapped back together. However, this is the second time it has come off so fingers crossed it's really fixed now. Otherwise I suspect I may need to order a spare part.

            • There's no reason to wait to start hanging. With the amount of hours you get in the phallosan, I fully believe hanging now will help you. It'll likely help more than increasing hours.

Go slow with hanging. Get some 3M wrap, use only one layer, and then put the protective cap over that. You could probably just put a little square over the urethra and be fine.

You have over 600 hours in the phallosan. You're conditioned to a vacuum and pull. Hang around 3 lbs for 1 hour, twice a day, for 6 days a week. Increase by 1 to 1 1/2 lbs every two weeks. Take it slow no matter how easy it feels. I've been hanging at 3 lbs the last two weeks, and while it definitely pulls more than the phallosan, it is easy and more than manageable, even when I hang 2 hour sets twice a day. I've read too many instances of people getting blisters, etc, from increasing weights too quickly. Better ease into it and slowly progress than cause a small injury that postpones any PE, and could maybe for long enough that you have to start at square one to get reconditioned

Most days, I hang first thing in the morning, go straight into the phallosan, then hang again 4 to 6 hours later. Eventually, probably once I'm around 6 lbs, I'll add a third set whenever I'm able to (third set will probably be at a lighter weight). I'll hang, wait four hours to hang again, and hang once more at night. Something like this would likely benefit you. Reread datawonk's journal. After he stopped using a bathmate in his first month, he started hanging something like four hours a day.

Well, I've started a new job and I will not be able to clock in hours at the same rate I used to. This seems like a perfect opportunity for me to start hanging. I'm thinking about taking another look at Datawonk's setup.

I'm gonna have to look into his setup tomorrow and hopefully have mine set-up before the weekend is over
