It's possible. Just not advised... once again, this is just what I've learned from studying PE.Originally posted by danner View PostHey Blink2000, Is it possible for some one to gain in girth??? then in length??? in that order. How often does that happen??
Guys, I've created a few articles now, I look forward to your feedback. Don't be shy about giving them good ratings! I hope these are useful additions to the forums:
https://www.pegym.com/forums/penis-d...ing-101-a.html (to help guys with hanging... of course)
https://www.pegym.com/forums/pe-theo...ck-theory.html (LOT theory for those who want to use it to pick an angle of attack)
https://www.pegym.com/forums/penis-d...ing-101-a.html (make your penis "runway ready")
Also, its funny. Yesterday I felt that odd (phantom?) pain in my penis at 7lbs. Today I'm more than ok. 7lbs in my second set felt almost too light! And 6lbs felt quite easy in the next set. I'm going to try & keep ramping things up slowly... I'm still doing 5x sets BTC daily (with a light day every 7th day), shooting for a target weight eventually of 10-15lbs within the next few months. From now on, my 7th day will be a sort of a rest day; I'll just hang 1-2 sets only on that day (instead of 5x sets).

7lbs was difficult yesterday (on my 2nd set), so clearly my body has healed.. even though I'm continuing to hang everyday. Most wont recommend this since it's higher risk, but I'm trying to follow Bib's advice (he also would hang daily, but every 6th or 7th day he had a light day; at least one 'light day' per week). I was able to heal from my light day... I didn't make it the whole 20m yesterday @ 7lbs, but I did today.
I want to give people an actual example of what "riding the fatigue" means, so I'm going to try and do it today. (Ride the Fatigue=Hit your max weight early, so you can't do as much weight in subsequent sets).
Today's Routine: Riding the Fatigue!
Primary Angle of Attack: BTC (I stayed at this angle, I just kept reducing weight as needed to maintain it)
Secondary Angle: SD (not used today, I didn't need it)
Device: Bib Starter Hanger
Circulation: I'm keeping the wrap on & massaging & slapping my unit on my leg to restore circulation (during the 10m rest sets).
Set Length: 20 minutes with 10m rest between sets.
Total "strapped in" hangtime: 1hr 40minutes.
Time to complete (a little over 3hrs due to rest time & time lost/multi-tasking)
Hanging Sets:Warm up: 10m rice sock
1st Set: 6lbs BTC (I warmed-up, stretched my skin out, applied some cocoa butter lotion)
2nd Set: 7lbs BTC (it felt MUCH easier than yesterday, although towards the end of 20 minutes I started to feel it)
3rd Set: 6lbs BTC (I had to lower the weight)
4th Set: 6lbs BTC (started @6lbs applied cocoa butter again, was forced to drop to 5lbs, then 4.5lbs @ the end)
5th Set: 5lbs BTC (started @5lbs, applied cocoa butter again, was forced to drop to 4.5lbs again after 7m)
Light jelqs & kegels, followed by some BTB jelqs
Warm down: 10m rice sock
I did 2x extra warmups today; before & after my most difficult set (my 2nd set)
fla.boy boy did 2x sets per day with a warmup in between, and it seemed to help his gains. Based on that anecdotal success data I'm trying to do extra warmups as well)Last edited by blink2000; 08-10-2010, 01:33 AM.

It seems I couldn't add an anatomy link the hanging 101 thread. It seems the current one is broken:
https://www.pegym.com/forums/site-an...omy-101-a.html (garbage)
It desperately needs an update. For now I guess I'll just ignore that thread...
If someone knows of a suitable anatomy thread on this forum (a well written one with illustrations), I want to link to it from the hanging guide. I guess for now that wont happen.

I felt like I made some 'mental' progress today, so I though I should post it in my log.
Measuring Wrong? Maybe Yes, Maybe No...
Reading through hundreds, maybe thousands of threads on this forum I learned some new things. I think PEGym is giving me a fresh new perspective. One of them was that I might be measuring wrong; I've always measured sitting. I chose my measuring methodology 2 years ago, so it's actually a bit hard to recall my thought process.
I actually lose a small amount of length standing. I am trying to recall why I chose sitting for my measurements; I think it may have something to do with consistency, since when I measure standing, I can appear to lose or gain with a slightest change in the angle of my hips. When I measure sitting, it's very predictable for me; I always do it the exact same way. For tracking progress, I'm not going to change the way I measure (I think it would only be counter-productive at this point).
However, I will definitely use the standing measure to determine whether or not I have reached my "ultimate goal". I'll just have to go a very small amount further to reach that final goal. I'm still trying to determine what goals are reasonable for me. I think I'll really be able to truly know my potential after one full year of consistent hanging.
Ultimate Length Goal
I was always planning on reaching at least 8" BPEL; I think 2" of erect length gains are perfectly within reason for me.
I think I can gain beyond that, but I think I need to reach that goal first to determine whether I even want to gain beyond that. I'm not that tall, so being longer than 8" might look ridiculous on me. I am also looking forward to girth work too, so I don't want to spend too long only working on length. However, in my opinion, once I start to work on girth, I'll be past the point of no return as far as length goes.Last edited by blink2000; 08-10-2010, 07:47 AM.

It's weird Blink, I am the other way around - longest when standing up.Vulcan

I push my hips forward a little while sitting; It gives me a small amount of extra length. But more importantly, I believe the way I do it gives me consistent measurements. In terms of tracking progress, that is all that matters.Originally posted by vulcan View PostIt's weird Blink, I am the other way around - longest when standing up.
BPEL gives more consistent measures than NBPEL, that's why we use it. For me, sitting gives more consistent measures than standing; that's why I will keep doing it.

I love the positive thinking man! You obviously have the motivation and you're certainly organized in your approach which are key factors in successful PE. As far as measuring is concerned, I've always measured standing up, but like you said, as long as you're consistent with how you measure that's the most important thing.I was always planning on reaching at least 8" BPEL; I think 2" of erect length gains are perfectly within reason for me.
*dieselStarting Stats:
March 2010- BPEL: 5.75" MSEG: 4.80"
Current Stats:
November 2010- BPEL: 6.62" MSEG: 4.875"

Since I do lose 1/8" due to my ruler being wrong, it slightly makes up for measuring sitting. My total length is only "wrong" by a very slight amount, so in the end, I'll only have to go 1/8" or something further... No big deal
But yeah, for tracking progress, I don't think being slightly off will hurt too much; since really I just need to be accurate on how much I gain.Last edited by blink2000; 08-10-2010, 01:47 PM.

It doesn't matter which way you measure IMHO (in my honest opinion) as long as you stay consistent it doesn't matter.
Also, it is my interpretation that fla.boy actually wrapped his unit with a heated sock while hanging which helped to expedite his gains. But that's just what I took out of it personally. It's not just Penile Enhancement, it's a way of life.

Oh yea fla.boy also incorporated bundled hanging into his routines occasionally, just remembered that. It's not just Penile Enhancement, it's a way of life.

I read his thread, but I missed that bit I guess (about bundled hanging).
Routine:
Anyway, I started with 7lbs today, and had to drop to 3.5lbs by the end of the set!
I was still too fatigued from yesterday. I decided I'm done for the day (I don't ever want to be injured--!)
I'll see how tomorrow goes. I'm debating whether I need anther day off... I think if I do try to hang tomorrow, it will be with low weight.

I couldn't do my max weight today; not even close. I must be doing some nice controlled damage. I was having trouble with the hanger twisting. I talked to Bib, based on his advice I'm going go for thicker WFG, and wider hex nut settings. (if you don't know what WFG is, check the glossary in Hanging 101, see my sig).
Routine:
5x sets @20m, 5lbs max, had to drop to 4.5lbs.
I tried a 2.25" wide theraband wrap instead of 1.25" theraband. I found the 2.25" way more comfortable. It's just hard to get it right with the HTW always moving off my shaft. I heard What-A-Grip can be used as an underwrap for hanging. I may try it. I'm fairly frustrated with my wrap; mostly because the HTW always tries to roll up like a condom and wont stay on the shaft as well as I like. HTW is great for preventing slippage, but its a bit of a pain. If I can't find a What-A-Grip locally or figure out a way to fix my HTW's then I will have to just find something else for hanging.
I noticed stillwantmore used some kind of odd cloth on a hanging video. It looked like a fast simple, easy to apply wrap. Although his flaccid looked at least 7" long, and his wrap looked at least 5" wide (that wouldn't work for me.... yet!)
My PIs are looking great, my flaccid is hanging longer than it has in years. I think I'm on my way...

I recall he did circular gyrations with the weights, heating before, after, and between sets, and 30m sets. I think I read the whole thread... I didn't see anything about bundled work....Originally posted by millia View PostOh yea fla.boy also incorporated bundled hanging into his routines occasionally, just remembered that.
Also: The HTW constantly rolls back up my shaft because my base girth is way fatter than my shaft girth (due to hanging). I just hope what-a-grip works/helps. I'll know soon enough.
