  • "Rome Wasn't Built in a Day"

    Actually, it took more like 800 years to reach its peak.

    Special thanks to Keido and Kingpole for their insight and encouragement and PEsuccessguy for the much deserved virtual-kick in the ass he gave me.

    My PE Vices:
    • I’ve never given a routine long enough to know if it was really working or not.
    • I intensify at a rate that would hardly be considered “gradual.”
    • I often mistake myself for being advanced in the PE world.
    • I place too little emphasis on quality.
    • I habitually get frustrated and irritated for no apparent dire reason.
    • I don’t properly listen to my penis when it speaks to me.
    • I measure entirely too often and I routinely expect gains every time.
    • I expect to gain at the same rate as or better than other people.
    • I frequently cross the line between focusing and obsessing.
    • I take my improved EQ, larger flaccid and increased stamina for granted.
    • I surrender too easily.
    I’m on mandatory Newbie probation for a 90 day time period. I’m ready to embrace that and have an actual beginner period where I don’t fuck up. My routines will consist only of basic stretching, light-grip/low rep jelqing, light squeezes, and edging. That’s it. I’m going to take rest days as my dick calls for them. My number one priority now is to stay in touch with my member and always try to know what he wants me to do. Achieving this will ultimately result in only positive things. This is officially the start of Phase III: Operation “Rome Wasn’t Built in a Day.” Patience, Patience, Patience!

    Good luck man. I know I have the same obstacles to over come because I have always been impatient. I also need to make sure my ADD doesn't enter fer with my routine. If you can do it I know I can. Just keep slow and steady and I'll be watching for some encouragement. I hope I can follow in the foot steps of those with great achievement in one's own quest!

          First day back after a 2-day period where I didn't lay one finger on the big guy. We re-established a good connection today in the shower. I apologized.

          Since over-stretching was what caused Mr. Happy to get very upset at me, I decided it was a good idea not to do any of that today.

          3/25/09:
          • 65 Wet Jelqs (w/ light squeezes)
          • 10 sec. Uli
          • Edge for 10 min.
          I used a very light grip while jelqing. I would characterize it as using slightly more pressure than a standard masturbation grip. It was really cool because I could still see some nice expansion taking place. I'm still doing a little bit of a stretch before each jelq stroke. I also applied 50/50 pressure between the top-bottom and sides. I did jelqing in 3 sets that went 20-20-25. I did some very light Kegel-squeezes between each set to keep the erection level up and blood moving in. When I was done, I did a 10-second Uli hold to get 100% erect so I could edge. I got really big while edging. I didn't blow. Very nice spongy, fluffy, plumpy flaccid going on right now, which is a good feeling.

          Today's Thought: "Keep jelqing pressure down. Allow for expansion, don't force it."

            As many have said, compare penile exercising to regular exercising. No matter what kind of exercising you do, at least one exercise needs to be done for at least one month so you can really get changes in that muscle. For instance, I workout 5 days a week and each day I train a different area on the body (arms, legs, back, shoulder, chest). When working out my arms I switch up the lifts except one. I always do it. I can't name it because so many lifts have names that I would rather not remember, but the name is unimportant. The point is that you must be consistent in some areas to really see a change rather than feel it. Before doing target exercises get that penis conditioned. That's what I'm doing again. I only went with JP's routine for 6 weeks and then I took a long break. And I didn't cement those gains on week 6. Once you and I have completed our 90 day conditioning period, then we can implement the TGC theory or others.

            Your personification for the penis amuses me. Haha. I used to measure every day. I'm being good, it's been a few weeks. Again think back to weightlifters or those that exercise with a goal. If someone's goal is to lose weight and they are weightlifting five days per week. Do you think they're going to weigh more or less? In my friends instance more, so when he would check his weight every day he was getting discouraged. He didn't even care that muscle weighs more than fat, he just wanted a lower weight. But then he stopped weighing himself for two months. When he stepped on the scale he lost over 45 pounds. He's a big fella so that was a huge accomplishment.

            There is a hairline between focus and obessesion. Sometimes you are on both sides. At least sometimes I am. When I shop, I inspect every item's caloric value. Looking for the highest in calories. And I eat 1,000 calories every 2 hours for a light meal. I consider myself obsessively-focused.

            I know the 90 day routine isn't what you want to do, there are so many other exercises you could be doing. I feel the same way. But newbie gains are amazing. Cement them by maintaining the routine or you and I will have another thing in common. Patience and diligence. It's going to take time, so you can't give up.

            Any kind of injury can lead to loss in size and girth. So be wary of that. I would still always stretch, but maybe lighten how much stretching is done. If you did 25 minutes of stretching, try going down to 5 minutes. But don't just stop altogether. I had a really painful penis a week ago and so I took out one of my sets of Wet Jelqing. You didn't release your load at all? So you ballooned. I have yet to balloon myself.

            Also pay attention to your PIs(physiological inidcators). Or in your case, don't just nod your head pretending to pay attention while occasionally saying "yes." Listen to your penis.

            Rome is still undergoing construction, so I think it's still not yet completed. You can always improve on something and to shape something towards perfection it's going to take time. Keep at it!

                  I brought the stretching back today as a conclusion to the session. I wanted to make sure everything felt alright after jelqing. I gripped very lightly and pulled with light-moderate force. I felt a great stretch while going left and right. Did 10 more jelqs today in sets of 20, 20, and 35. I was going to stop at 65 but Mr. Sunshine on a Cloudy Day said "more, more please." I feel we have really re-established a great relationship. I'm listening to him now. I got really big while edging again. It's so much fun, I'm glad I brought it back. I find my dick gets so much bigger when I edge very slowly with next to nothing pressure. It's enjoyable to watch. I'm so glad PE is in the "pleasure zone" again. I'm going to measure tomorrow just to see if I gained my lost size back from my Armageddon stretch-a-thon last week. From then on, I'm forcing myself to only measure Willy every 2 weeks. Rome wasn't built in a day, dammit.

                        He likes "Wankapotomus" the most fig. I have many names for him; I'm keeping it personal between us.

                        Good news on the homefront. I gained those losses back from those "Rip My Dick Off" stretch sessions I was doing. I also gained an additional 1/8" in BPEL along with another 1/16" in EG. I'm going to go ahead and credit the two days off and the new lighter routine. All of my gains are coming with lighter routines and making sure I take days off. Days off appear to be critical for me.

                        Now, it is absolutely crucial that I don't measure again for two weeks! Stick to that, man! Patience!

                        Tomorrow's Routine Reminder: If Willy wants more jelqs, give him more jelqs. If he wants to stop at 45, stop at 45!
