if you have some days where you are stuck at the same BPFSL, do you do anything different?
"If" I have some days? Do I really sound like I make gains each and every day?
When it doesn't move for a long time I do a couple more daily sessions, but I'm usually more than happy to just confirm the previous day's measurements, so I'm sure I didn't screw them up then.
I'm lucky I didn't get hurt. Those rulers are super light and pretty thin, obviously not the best quality available.
BTW I was pretty close to 10"1/4 when it happened
Now I'm in trouble. Not because I have to buy another ruler, I got a 10 pack of those, but because they're not all the same, the markings shift like mad!
Turns out the broken one was too favorable. I chose a new one by measuring them all against two different good quality tape measures, and I'm losing a good 1/32" of penis length in the process:
Maybe you can just file the edge to make it like the broken one?
I thought about it, but wouldn't that be cheating? As frustrating as this is, I'd rather start fresh on good bases.
Now that I think about it, I did compare the now broken wooden ruler with my old red plastic one (I even posted a comparison pic here), and they were exactly the same, so the red one wasn't legit either.
Also, is wood more favorable instead of plastic ruler? My plastic ruler is very weak, so I fear it might break soon
IMO wood just feels better. It's also much more convenient than flexible plastic, haven't tried hard plastic though.
Last night I measured BPEL six times at least halfway between the 9"9/16 and 9"5/8 marks.
This means that with the old ruler I would now be a solid 9"5/8
It's time to acknowledge the fact that my technique of stretching against the ruler has reached its limits. I still believe it's a good way to boost your gains by getting to maximum stretching capacity, but it doesn't work for me anymore:
It looks as though I've been stretching/pressing harder and harder, and now I have a constant pain in some of my back and torso muscles.
I just don't know whether the improved readings I've seen lately were actual gains or if they just came from the extra flattening of the pubic tissues, the deformation of the ruler and/or *strength gains in the muscles that do the stretching/pressing*.

The spot where I put the end of the ruler is now a thick 1/2" diameter callus, and it looks BAD.
I've gone too far and I have to stop this.
I'll still do my stretching routines minus the measurement part, maybe more of them, and my erect work/BPEL measurements.
BPEL will be the only way I track gains from now on. It's still reliable, because I can't press nearly as hard, missing the counter force of the stretching hand.
I'm deleting my BPFSL stats, as they don't reflect my actual gains: had I measured my initial length the way I've been measuring lately, it certainly would have been more than 8"7/8.
Ease up on those poor rulers, pretty soon you can just have a tattoo of a ruler on your wang. Get rid of the callus and you will gain another half inch!
