As far as my warm up goes, its pretty similar to what you mentioned. I do a stroke-stretch sort of thing in several different directions and a bit of a massage to get good blood flow going, along with a rice sock.
Starting stats I'm at 6 3/4 BPEL and 4 7/8 MSEG. That's measuring the length with a ruler. If I use a measuring tape that can account for my very slight upward curve its about 7 1/4 BPEL, but for a better measuring reference, I'm going to track with the ruler measurement because its easier to be more consistent.
