The situation you describe is independent of a gender-status, so like the two other men who expressed their opinion, here is my:

Different people have different needs, as in frequency and intensity, and if two people truly collide when it comes to how much space or affection they want to show each other, it becomes a problem. And it is hard to blame any part. Or rather... since it is about boundaries, and in this case physical boundaries, it is the one who constantly wants to be intimate, and continues to pressure his or her partner to be intimate that draws the shortest straw.

I had a girl that aside from other intimacy wanted to hold hands all the time. (And I really mean all the time.) It didn't work well. I said to her many times that it was good with a bit of personal and physical space, even for partners, but she wouldn't listen and just continued. The situation kind of made me feel raped.

Clingy or touchy feely? Clingy to me sound needy like you can't make a decision without her and need her to prop you up every 5 sec. to make you feel better about yourself: which can be a turn off. Touchy Feely in my opinion means that you have a hard time keeping your hands off her. If I am into him, then I like touchy feely. On the other hand, if I am not into him then I don't like it.

Space thing sounds to me more outside the physical as she then says she will seek more of that from you once your less clingy.

However I may of picked it up wrong with your question?

She's not super active on social media, however when she does post I like her status's/pictures.

She lives with me.

It sounds to me like there is a "love language" issue in your relationship. It might be a good idea to pick up the book "The 5 Love Languages" by Gary Chapman.

Compatibility issues are fixable in most cases if you're both willing to make some changes, and understand the other's point of view.
