I am starting to think you were one of those kids in school who never read what was assigned but instead just asked his buddies what the homework was about. The problem with that of course is that you never really get the facts only someone else's theories and hearsay. Sort of like what you did again on your latest post.

For example:

In fact, it has been proven that an above-average penis can generate as many (but different) sexual concerns as one that is under average. One recent study (albeit isolated to a specific area) indicated that an above-average penis was the cause for greater infidelity...not by the men but by the women who wanted a more average sized penis instead.

3. An above average penis is not a sexual panacea. It will not guarantee greater sexual attraction or sexual competence. That too has been proven.

4. While I am delighted to hear that you have taken the time to read erotic literature (no really I am), it is important as well to remember that it is fiction. Yes, the men in those novels are always well-endowed but never is it stated what that means exactly or what are the specific numbers. And let's face it, well-endowed to a man would mean something far different to most women and likely less too. Also, the size of the protagonist's "endowment" is not the primary turn-on for women reading those novels. It is his sexual prowess, his romantic capabilities, his vulnerability as well as his other physical features that draws women readers in.


Listen FinallyBig, there is absolutely nothing wrong with desiring a larger package; that is what this site is about after all. And whatever keeps one motivated is good in my books but should that information be false or consists of broad generalizations, theories or hearsay, especially about the opposite sex, then I feel we owe it to the members to let them know that too, don't you?

Okay I looked up 3" dildos and there are websites selling them. But I swear I've been in many sex shops in real life, and never saw any 3" dildos on the shelves. They must be a specialty item that people would have to order online to get, cause I've never seen them in sex shops here. I noticed they also said they were "anal dildos", or also described as "starter/beginner dildos". Many of the comments about them were from men and women who bought these small dildos for anal play, to get used to anal penetration. I didn't see any girls saying they bought one to use inside their vagina. I couldn't imagine even a virgin wanting a 3" anything unless it was for anal play. 3" is like my thumb.

I don't think any woman on this board would be happy if her bf/hubby suddenly shrunk from 8 x 6 down to a 3 x 3 like these anal dildos I found online. I'll bet the women on here all have well endowed husbands. Sure they don't state exactly how long and thick the guy's dick is, but that's because these books are written for women, and women don't care about and obsess over numbers like men do. Men want to know how many hp and how much torque a car has, how long does it take to go from 0 - 60mph? Etc.... women just look at the car and admire it based on how it looks, they don't need to know exactly how many hp it is or its top speed. If there was an erotic novel written for men it would probably give all the stats, like what the woman's cup size was, her bust-waist-hip measurement, how long the guy's dick was right to the 1/4 of the inch, etc... cause that's the way most guys think.

But my point is, even if they don't state the exact numbers, women still get to paint a picture in their mind of what it looks like based on the description. Like using a word like "considerable length" in 50 Shades of Grey, it's certainly not under 6 inches. And the guy in Behind Enemy Lines, if he is amazed at how the girl stretches and gives to accommodate him, he's certainly not some short needle dick guy. They're all at least above average based on the language being used.

For instance, I've noticed that the male protagonists in these books are always described as being tall. Now you might say that tall could mean anything, but I think if they say tall he must be at least 5'11". It couldn't mean 5'6", we can cross that off right now. The reason why these men in the women's romance novels are always tall, is because that's what women generally want in a man. I'm 5'8" and I've been flat out told by women I'm too short for them to date me. So their idea of tall is the same as what a man's idea of tall is, which is over 5'10", but preferably 6 feet or even slightly more. The only girls who say I'm tall are like 5'1" or under, so yes it's all relative, but for the majority of girls I am short, and when I talk about these things, I'm referring to the majority.

Perhaps I didn't articulate what I was saying correctly. I am not questioning your personal motivations for choosing to be here nor am I questioning your opinions - no matter how detrimental or self-defeating they may be to you. What I am doing is countering and correcting your assumptions but only when you state said assumptions as irrefutable fact when they are not.

To voice your assumptions as fact about all women - their sexual body, their sexual preferences, their sexual desires, their sexual habits, etc. - is really rather presumptuous especially since you are not one. Furthermore, much of what you have been stating as truth has really been conjecture and hearsay or at the very least a miniscule sampling of the female gender. You did it again with MrsL4M. You are using the preference of ONE woman as your convincer. One. That is really rather limiting don't you think?

The point I am trying to make is that you are more than welcome to share your opinions and experiences but should you once again convey them as irrefutable fact or even consensus when they are not, then myself and others certainly have the right or some may argue, the obligation, to challenge them in order to provide readers with a broader, more honest perspective...especially about the female gender.

Relating back to OP: My GF and I were actually talking about her getting a toy today, and we were going pretty in depth too.

She said she preferred the real thing and didn't like the classic smooth vibrators (which was the first toy she had), so we actually ended up getting one that was pretty much the same size as me (and similar shape too).
