So you know she won't care, where is the potential damage? I'm not here to encourage free for all fucking of every girl you meet, but it is sometimes just healthy to go out and get laid care free. I havent read the full thread. I have had 2 experiences with being involved with a women at work. After you first kiss or have sex it starts off amazing since you are right near/next to each other. Its very hard not to flirt. Your boss won't like it and if it's a small office he will have to fire one of yous, or if its a big one and yous are both worth keeping maybe re arrange your seats. The biggest thing that i've noticed that getting involved with someone at work is that it makes the relationship escalate really fast and it can become very intense quickly if yous actually like each other. I actually fell in love with my first one and she did with me, it turned into a relationship and she got fired.

You said you joined the gym and kick boxing classes. That's great! You just need to get out there an start meeting all types of people it will develop your self confidence with talking to women. It takes years to develop confidence with talking to women, and i said it like that on purpose because their are things in your life that you would be confident in and think about them for a second and realized how much time it took to become confident in those things. Being confident talking to women would be linked to being confident talking to people in general. I become confident with people when i developed confidence in my innerself. I had confidence in my abilities, my thoughts and my feelings that i could express them confidently.

So here is the reader's digest version of my eventful(not really lol) Saturday night.

My friends and I go out and we go to this local pub/diner. The hostess says to me she likes my shirt. I sheepishly say "Thanks." Lol. I mean 99% chance she just truly liked the shirt and nothing more but man, I still could of tried to talk more.

Later on we go to another bar where my friend's sister was at with her friends. Towards the end of the night my friend, and then eventually his sister and my other friend, start telling me to talk to one of the friends. kept bugging me. She was cute. I think I talked to her for like half a second earlier, but eh I can't do it. Just a pussy.

I get what you mean there, I tend to not do anything when I'm out in terms of trying to talk to women. Still haven't mastered that yet

Honestly, I use to be like this. Back in highschool and even my first year of college.
Just don't think about it. Don't worry about it.
And if girls are telling you that you're cute, believe them. I use to not, until I had pretty much every girl I work with agreeing that I was one night. If they think you're cute, use it. Be yourself. Even if you're fucking weird. Cause I know I am and since I started acting myself and not giving two shits what others think I have been way better off. Not only happier but I have found some girls seem to want a guy that is who he is. And I'm counting the hotties too. Even though we are having issues, my girlfriend was attracted to me for that reason and because I'm cute... and she be very hot. Like, too hot for me hot.

Anyway, just smile at them, talk about anything interesting. Just do something. Even epic fails are better than not trying. At least you learn something that way.

I'm 24 as well. Came out of that shell not long after my first real relationship ended.
Just ask them about whatever your thinking. I have gone up to a bar to get a drink and stood next to some girl... just said the service here sucks and we started talking. It ended with me laughing at her for being a Washington Capitals fan... but still.
Just talk about anything... you'll get the hang of it after a few tries. The failures tend to give you confidence in yourself... at least from the standpoint that you're not a bag of douche anymore and are actually talking to women. No longer scared, just sucky at it. Eventually that gets better too... just gotta put yourself out there.
