  • If you do kegels do reverse also. And 1000 a day is crazy, would you do bicep curls at 1000 reps a day? Both are working muscles.

    • A Venous leak can happen which is a result from a ruptured vein even if it is a small rupture because blood escapes and can lead to bruising as well. With smaller vein during clotting, blood flow could be cut off due to the limited space from the clot until the white blood cells are removed when the injured vein is healed. This doesn't only apply to the penis but on the body period.

Wouldn't this rupture heal itself quite quickly, though? I mean heal itself fully in a matter of days.

        • Yes, but with smaller veins, the clot can block the flow of blood unlike larger vein which are bigger for main blood flow. It is much easier to damage smaller veins because they are not as thick or wide. You don't even have to rupture it but press too hard on it. Often times this can happen when your penis is not conditioned for more intense jelgs or simply using to much pressure on the jelg moving across the veins.

          • Well, I see what you're saying and from what I've read and certainly been told by my Uro team, it is quite rare.

But unfortunately for me, I have been clinically diagnosed with having a Venous Leak, albeit, a 'mild' one.

            - My erection will fade almost immediately without stimulation
            - I rarely wake with morning wood.

On the plus side, I can keep it up indefinitely when I'm with a girl, blowjobs, sex, I'm fine and I can keep going for a goood period of time. That is, until my girlfriend uses her secret weapon on me! A position a man can only surrender to!!

Also, with Cialis, it stays hard without stimulation for longer. I don't use this though. I just tried it because my doctors told me to. The only downside is, changes of positions and the anxiety in my head *will it stay up will it stay up will it stay up* when really, you should be focusing on the pleasure!

I've heard big things about Kegels and that they can do wonders for men, including the ones with VL. I'm lucky mine is mild. I hope it stays that way, or medical science makes leaps and bounds and is able to tie up the leak permanantly one day.

I agree, I think loads of guys are scared they have VL, when in fact, it's probably just mental or another form of ED. Blood flow etc etc.

            • Kegels (contracted and reverse) do help if not over done because you don't need to work out the pelvic muscles everyday or do a mass about of sets to keep them toned and strong (they are minute in size).

As far as ED, there are a number of things that can play a role beside poor PC or venous leak. Bad diet and being overweight also play a major role in bad EQ or not at all. To much LDL (Low Density Lipoprotiens) which can clock the veins will affect the erection level lowering the amount of blood being passed in the veins (making the heart have to pump harder (High Blood Pressure)). Too much sugar in the diet also can do this because too much sugar thickest the blood which make it harder for blood to pass through smaller veins and capillaries which can lead to nueropathy which is common for diabetics. Too much alcohol in the system (alcoholism) can affect ED as well.

The better you take of you, the less issues with ED you will have regardless of age. I am 40 and when I get hard, it stays hard for a while but I eat healthy, take vitamins and don't do drugs or drink alcohol (but maybe a Heiny once in great while). And if you are safe with PE, better yet.

Hi LukeC good to hear from you again I suspect I have the same as you I also loose my erection pretty much straight away without stimulation and I do wake up with erections but not as frequently as I used to, they're pretty weak and I loose them quickly as well when I get up. While I haven't been diagnosed with mild Venous Leakage it's pretty likely I have some form of it but the good news is Kegels work for mild forms of Venous Leakage and you know I would rather rely on Kegels for the rest of my life to maintain good erections than say get a penile implant I don't think I'll get to that stage I don't know why but I don't think I can cope with the idea of having an artifical erection and I don't want to loose anymore size it feels small enough as it is. Anyway I'm hoping to get some proper tests done and get more answers it's been long enough now (years) so I need to really sort this ED out it probably won't be until sometime next year until I get to see the uroligist though.

                • Glad to see youre doing better ukguy.

Luke, not to disagree with your uro, but he didnt diagnose you just based on that right...??

I mean, so much of this could very easily be in the head located above the neck

Such as, if youre not sleeping well or having nightmares, chances are youre not going to wake up with a rager.

Not keeping it up without stimulation? Same thing, if theres any sort of anxiety involved or youre just not 100% into it, it happens to the healthiest of guys.

Haha, no, I underwent a special ultrasound where they injected it and took a picture every 5 minutes for about half an hour. The injection hardly did anything. Was so self conscious.

                    • Hey LukeC and dsfan I'm wondering what you guys do to cope with your ED psychologically?. I am trying to be more positive about my situation and not think I have irreversable ED (although it's still possible) and that it can't be cured other than a penile implant but sometimes it's so hard to cope with this mentally I did tell my dad about having ED some time ago but he didn't take me seriously and said it's all "in your head" and I don't blame him for thinking that but of course he doesn't know I tried PE and injured my dick doing it wrong I can't be that honest about how I got ED because obviously it's embarrasing. Maybe I should talk to someone? I'm nearing 27 years of age next month and I still haven't had sex.

                        • Vein leaks

I was diagnosed with vein leaks, it's all too true. I cannot get an erection without an injection. I feel like due to the lack of blood flow, that I'm actually losing size! It is the worse feeling in the world and my dr. said there is no cure. Please someone tell me I'm not alone.

                          • Deflated glans is a problem for sex?

Hi guys I have a serious question I want to ask all of you and due to my lack of experience with sex (I'm still a virgin) I'm not sure if I have a real problem when it comes to sex. I won't bore you all with my erection problems you can look back at my posts if you want to know more but basically years ago I damaged my glans from jelqing either slightly too hard or erect I guess the cause of it doesn't matter. The injury after all these years is almost certainly permanent. The main problem is when I get an erection the glans are often small and deflated and for some reason they won't fully engorge I have heard that soft glans can make insertion of the penis difficult due to this and it worries me. Anyway I am really trying to sort myself out and my erection troubles because it is no doubt holding me back from actually having sex.

How much of a problem is it having glans that don't fully expand? Is sex still possible with soft glans? It's pretty frustrating becasue I am able to get the shaft of my penis pretty hard, normal but the glans even with extreme manual stimulation just won't hardly expand at all. The most I can get the glans to fill is maybe half (50%) but never full to where it is firm and glossy. The only way that seems to fix this is surgery which is pretty unsucessful and hardly any surgeons in the world perform the procedure, the deflated/deflating glans is believed to be due to a leaking vein of somes ort but a cock ring looks to be the only other way of addressing this defect.

I am screwed? Tell me honestly I'm worried this soft glans problem will make sex more difficult maybe impossible.

                            Thanks

                            • As long as your shaft is hard, then inserting is not a problem, there's many people with really tiny glans, and never think twice. Even in porn.
