    • Wow that guy is amazing and I find that a hundred times more impressive than the average bulked up body builder. I'll bet women would be far more impressed by this as well. I think it was in the Forks Over Knives documentary that I saw a UFC fighter who was completely vegan and he certainly didn't look like it had negatively affected his strength.

      Personally I have felt a bit weaker since giving up meat but I haven't been concentrating on physical strength as a priority. What I will say is that after just a few weeks on a vegetarian diet I found I could run a lot further without any effort and my aerobic stamina had clearly improved.

      • Yea spartax I think the key to being a vegetarian without losing that feeling of strength is to make sure you include lots of those high-protein foods like lentils, black beans, flax, quinoa, and hemp seeds (or hemp protein powder). It takes a little bit of extra effort to fit all of these things in but in addition to a lot of healthy vegetables I've felt plenty of strength in my yoga workouts. However, I had the same experience as you are describing early on in my transition. I felt better overall but a bit weaker. Once I learned what foods I needed to make sure I was getting I started feeling much better.

          Thanks so much for sharing your journey... I share some of the issues you've experienced: penis injury resulting in extreme anxiety, deep depression, bad masturbation habits, PremE, etc.. Been fighting it for 4 years.

          I'm now 3 weeks into no PMO.. Trying to continue until I feel like I have "reset". In the meantime; my pelvic floor is a mess.

          When would be a good time to start meditation/yoga/kegel exercises?
          Starting EQ: 5/10
          11/4/2015 Avg EQ (sex): 6.5/10

          12/31/2016 Goal:

            Hi GrayWolf,

            I would start the meditation and beginner's yoga ASAP. Kegal exercises is a tough debate. If you have overtightened pelvic floor muscles, the only exercises you should do a reverse kegals, so relaxation basically. So that's what the meditation and yoga help with. I would work on relaxation for a solid 3-4 weeks, and then maybe gently introduce a kegal routine but keep it very light for at least a month.

            Also, start eating as healthy as you can. That helps with everything. I'm sorry that you're dealing with this man, it can be extremely emotionally painful. Just hang in there and stay positive!!

              • Hey guys,

                It's been awhile since I posted anything and today happens to be a big day for me. I made it to my 90 day goal...FINALLY. It took me so many tries before having the resolve to make it all the way through. But yesterday was day 90 of no masturbation, no porn, and no pot. I've actually seen so many positive changes in my life that I'm keeping this going. My goal now is another 90 days just like these. I'm at the point where I'm interested in testing the waters with a girl if the opportunity feels right.

                All I can say is that I believe there are many different aspects of our individual conditions that are causing the symptoms we all experience. However, I think there is one underlying problem that is not getting talked about enough on the forums: sexual exhaustion. I think it is the main factor that needs to be addressed because when it is addressed, it seems to heal all the other issues that come along with our problems.

                I'm not even going to explain everything right now because it's Christmas day and I want to be with my family. But I just had to post something because I'm feeling the light at the end of the tunnel upon my skin. It's no longer just a hopeful vision anymore...I'm actually feeling healed. Especially in the last couple of weeks, I've had some major breakthroughs.

                All I can say is this. Stop watching porn PERIOD. Stop masturbating PERIOD. Don't use substances like pot that drain your dopamine. The goal is to replenish and rebalance your neurochemistry and your nervous system will love you for it. Stop drinking caffeine too. Just live clean. Go do some hot yoga as it helps you get exercise and cardio without the added stress of things like weight lifting. It's healing to the muscles and bone structures in the body as well as cleansing for the blood and lungs and improves circulation. Start transitioning to a plant based diet. I'm gonna post more soon about where I'm at with all this. Do some yoga nidra meditations when you can or just any meditation for that matter. Take some good supplements. More on this later. I've been having some great results with a couple new ones.

                But first and foremost, just don't let this bring you down. Go out and live your life in the face of your problems. It puts the power back in your hands. And after 3 months of abstinence your nervous system will have you feeling more confident, less socially awkward, more connected, and more full of life than you've probably felt in YEARS. This will have a DIRECT relation to the pelvic floor muscles because your replenished neurochemistry and endocrine system will have you feeling more relaxed and secure within your own body. You can't will these things over night. You have to stay committed and let your body have the time it needs to make these changes happen. Once they do and you see the benefits, you won't go back. You will realize...AHHH this is how I attract girls! I have to be a fuckin MAN! Well there's no quicker way to becoming a man than giving up the habits that drain your very manhood. It's more than sexual ability that comes with this path. It's a new chance at life. It's vigor and strength. Just fucking make the leap I'm telling you. I fought with my mind about this all the time. It's why I never made it to 90 days. Your mind will make you fail over and over till you finally get sick of it.

                Now that I'm on the other side I just hope how much other guys will realize there is a way out of this...and it's possible to be reborn as a healthy man again.

                • Glad to hear you are doing well Voodoo. You are absolutely right about the masturbation and porn. Reading your comments only reminded me how dumb I feel when I don't abstain because I know it makes the Peyronies worse and that probably applies to other conditions as well. Squeezing your penis to check for problems is another one to resist.

                  Just to give you a quick update my condition is much improved but I wouldn't say I am 100% free of Peyronies and that's probably because I've never managed a month, let alone 90 days without masturbating but I can tell it feels better and is healing when left alone for even a week, so I really just have to decide to give it up and deal with it.

                  On a more positive note I've found three things that are worth passing on. The first is evening primrose oil (cold pressed) that has proven useful at softening hard flaccid when taken in large doses of 5g or more per day. The second, which is really impressive is magnesium and particularly ionic magnesium that is easily absorbed with no negative side effects such as diarrhea that is common with magnesium citrate.

                  The vast majority of us are lacking in magnesium these days and magnesium regulates just about everything in the body. I just feel better in every way on magnesium; sleeping better, more mentally alert, less brain fog and far less general anxiety for no good reason. Look up magnesium and you'll also find it does wonderful things for healing soft tissue and reversing calcification. I cannot recommend ionic magnesium too highly and it just needs a about a teaspoon in a glass of water once a day.

                  The last thing is to eat resistant starches, which has become a bit of a buzz word lately for good reason. The best ones I am finding are the RS3 variety, which is basically starchy carbs like pasta, rice or roast potatoes that has been cooked before cooling overnight in the fridge and then gently reheated so it's warn again. Yeah we all thought carbs were awful right?

                  This process of heating/cooling/heating changes the basic structure and makes the food harder to digest in the small intestine, so it passes virtually untouched through the body with hardly any insulin spike and fewer calories than usual but then supplies a feast for the good bacteria in your gut flora that then wages war on whatever is hurting you. I usually add home made sauerkraut that then supplies you with masses of fresh probiotics at the same time. The end result is that the body produces butyrate that protects the gut lining and repairs your immune system.

                  I have slowed down with the evening primrose oil at the moment mainly because the combination of magnesium and the resistant starches is helping so much. My curvature is now under 10 degrees and I'm not taking any form of medicine.

                    • Nice Spartax glad to hear it man! I eat a lot of starches naturally as a vegan...so I'm always reheating things the next day like you say. And I also have taken a food based magnesium supplement for a time and it was definitely helpful! I don't need it anymore because I eat so much hemp seeds/protein which are super high in magnesium. It is definitely noticeable how much it relaxes the body and the nervous system I agree. Never tried the primrose oil but considering my hard flaccid has gotten so much better it's really not even much of an annoyance even when it does flare up...its not nearly as severe as in the recent past.

                      So the two new supplements that I'm really enjoying are two that I've tried in the past but finally I've found the best sources and they really are worth the extra cost. They actually work whereas the others were much milder. I take lower doses but feel more benefit. (shilajit and tongkat ali) This is from a message I just wrote someone below:

                      I would get some blood work done to see where your testosterone is at. If it is on the low side (as mine was), I'd look into TongKat Ali and Shilajit. But before those I would SERIOUSLY consider getting the pure synergy multi vitamins and pure synergy superfood powder (and cell protector if you can afford it) . I think they have been serious catalysts in my healing but I've also seen improvement since using TongKat Ali and Shilajit. Also, if you can get into juicing (fresh fruits and vegetables) that is super healing as well. People are reversing cancer with fresh juice alone!

                      Tongkat AliAuthentic Tongkat Ali- take 1 a day for two days then take one day off...every now and then take several days off (this is the ONLY tongkat ali source I would buy from. Most stuff out there is fake or contaminated by other substances. And the 600mg 200:1 is the best value and should last you about 4-5 months if you take it as I suggest. Would cost about $20 a month. This is very potent stuff!)

                      Shilajit Shilajit Collected by Himalayans, Highest Grade Available - take 1 -2 rice size pellets per day for two days then one day off...every now and then take several days off (this is also the ONLY shilajit source I would buy from. Like the Tongkat, I've tried multiple sources and these are the only ones that are giving real results and the research is there to prove the quality and purity. This would also last about 4-5 months if taken like I suggest, and would only cost around $10 per month)

                      Pure Synergy Combo Pack The Synergy Wellness Pack- take 4 vitamins per day (2 in morning 2 in evening) and 1 level tbsp of synergy powder per day (can mix in smoothie or drink in water with organic stevia). This would last you about 6 weeks. So cost per month is about $66 (not $100). Honeslty man, this is the absolute best way you could supplement your health and then the shilajit (because it acts as a catalyst for all other supplements and nutrients due to the fulvic acid content) and then the tongkat ali (only if you need the testosterone help).

                      So for about $96 per month (not including the small shipping cost) you could be adding to your health IMMENSELY. Change your diet and start doing yoga on top of that and I guarantee you will begin to heal at a much better rate than without this stuff. But as long as you stay abstinent, I believe you will heal. That is the key man. This stuff will just make it happen sooner and probably get you to a much higher level of sexual health than without it.

                        • Forgot to mention I regularly drink kombucha for some good digestive probiotics! Always gives a good boost of energy.

                          Also, I started taking an enzyme/probiotic supplement called RAW Enzyme For Men by Garden of Life. It has helped tremendously with leveling out dips and spikes of energy due to digestive issues. I don't have the gas I used to have and I feel more energized through meal times where used to I could just go take a nap lol. I'd recommend either this product or VeganZyme which is also a great version by a different company. This is my first bottle and will buy again. It just happened to be on sale at the time.

                          • I've been juicing fruit and vegetables for over a year now. The only slight warning, particularly with the fruit versions is to wash your mouth out with water immediately after drinking and possibly brush your teeth because some of those drinks can damage the enamel on your teeth over a period of time otherwise.

                            Kombucha is another one of those things you can try along with kefir or kimchi. My wife and I find locally produced cabbages from a farmers market and make our own sauerkraut in a ceramic crock, which involves nothing more than crushing the chopped up cabbage with some Himalayan or sea salt. After an hour or so it starts to ferment, so you then put a lid on it and forget it for a month.

                            At the end of the month we have over 8 kilos/17 pounds of the wonderful stuff that tastes fantastic and one spoonful of real sauerkraut has more probiotics than a whole packet of expensive shop purchased supplements. The sauerkraut only costs a few dollars to make and here in the UK we can make sauerkraut successfully most of the year but in hotter climates it may ferment too quickly, which produces an acidic taste unless placed in a cooler areas under 20C/68F. Shop bought sauerkraut is not properly fermented and generally pasteurised, which removes just about all the nutrients.

                            Right at the top of my list now though for healing is just to leave it well alone. No amount of good food, meditation or anything else will fix this if you are still inflicting regular physical abuse with masturbation, general handling or sex. Once you are fully healed you can return to a more normal life but I am amazed at the crazy advice on the Peyronies forum to "use it or lose it" where they are recommending as much sex and masturbation as possible to keep the blood flowing. Some guys kept on trying to have sex and found their curvature went from 20 degrees to 90 degrees within a month so now they are depressed...

                            The one thing I am still bad about is not getting enough sleep. A new EU law due in a few days that nobody had even heard about until a month ago will likely force me to close my online business selling eBooks and that has been keeping me awake at nights trying to find a solution.

                              Man, it's great to hear someone else say this. Honestly, "the use it or lose it" thing is bull shit. If you have a broken arm, the last thing you should do is go to a boxing match. I mean come on people. And yea, the fact that that forum has peyronies patients using VEDs and traction devices is just downright ignorant. Really sad.

                              Sorry to hear about that new law. Hopefully you find a work around. That sounds like a bunch of bullshit too. Oh, this life. Takes a lot of digging to find the truth.

                              • I have to agree 1000% about using the VED.

                                The major long lasting scar I developed at the base on the right hand side came as a direct result of using the VED following the advice of some old guy on the Peyronies forum who runs around contacting every new guy on the forum by private message and making outlandish claims without a shred of published evidence about a 90% success rate when used early on. Strangely enough he always recommends the same brand of VED...

                                The point where the VED attaches to the body exerts too much pressure when the vaccum is applied and I was contacted by numerous forum members who experienced the same injury. Apart from that it did all kinds of nasty other damage. To anybody reading this do not risk using a VED if you have Peyronies and if you do use a VED don't be surprised if you then develop Peyronies.

                                In reality if you leave your penis well alone and live a generally healthy life you'll soon start getting good nocturnal erections while you sleep and these are quite adequate without further risk of physical damage. A while back I actually realised that my one remaining palpable scar on the top of my shaft happens to fall exactly where my thumb would be when masturbating and I have little doubt that is why it's still there. A good 90 days of abstinence now would probably work wonders.

                                The area at the base is still prone to inflammation if touched but time, rest and magnesium is proving effective to reduce that. Nevertheless it has taken over two years to reduce the damage done by the VED and it still hasn't completely gone away. I've never tried traction and I'm not about to try it.
