  • Read though this all. Thanks so much, Hans!

I've started PT and have the following symptoms for 3.5 years:

    -Hard Flaccid
    -Soft Glans
    -ED / Low EQ
-Not PE, but feeling like I need to cum a lot faster than before (ex: 5 min vs. 15-20)
    -Low Libido
    -Genital Numbness

I'm hoping that I'll start seeing improvements soon and with your info and that of my PT I'll be on my way out of this mess which has made me suffer for so long.

    • Okay so.... How many people have actually gotten better doing this? I'm aware that the dedication people go at it with will vary so that will determine results somewhat but I haven't seen all that many people be successful doing hindi squats and all this stuff. It may well work for some... but from what I see that seems to be a minority?

Obviously still worth trying but I just want to get to the bottom of the success rate of this. I hope I'm not hit with the mental thing too. I understand it can be a factor but saying that the people who didn't recover didn't because of mental issues would be disingenuous. The truth is none of us have proof of anything. It's possible the cause is different for some of us.

With all that aside.... How many people have really cured themselves from these kinds of pelvic floor exercises? And how many people have tried this and said it didn't work for them? Let's just get straight to the point. My point isn't to invalidate this treatment... I understand it has worked for some. I just want to get to the bottom of the success rate.

While I don't know about the Hans Protocol, my own favourite success story is that of Jinshanmu. This British guy who had a tight pelvic floor, penis pain, numbness, and ED. He saw a pelvic floor physio I believe, and ended up stretching his whole body in general, improving his standing and sitting posture, and generally improving the imbalances which existed in his body. After 3 months, he was cured, and in a follow up comment he made in the thread 3 months later, he remained 100% free of symptoms.

Here's his thread. You can check the comment he makes on Page 2 of the thread too.

In his recovery, he included the importance of hindi squats in relaxing his pelvic floor, so I personally vouch for their use in the Hans Protocol also. I've been stretching a far sight longer than 3 months, but my body stiffness has been around as long as I can remember, so it'll take time to improve.
Hi! Good luck on your PE journey :)

You can read my own progress here.

My issue is I'm not even sure if it's a pelvic floor problem. I don't have any pain. No change in the way I urinate that I've noticed. There are a few things here and there that have made me consider it being a pelvic floor dysfunction but there is no conclusive evidence. I have all the standard HF symptoms though. I also have a cord-like thing under my penis when flaccid. You can't see it visibly, only feel it. When erect it kind of feels like a gap in my penis. It's very difficult to describe. No pain involved. I've seen a urologist. He said I'm normal. However, I don't think he felt the cord. I'm going to see another urologist eventually but I expect him to tell me it's nothing. I definitely don't have peyronies though. I've had HF for just over a year and have no curvature.

The other thing is I had very mild erection issues (but no HF that I remember) for 6 months before this started. Which would imply that if it's being caused by a physical injury in the penis that I would have had to have injured it further when I got HF. I got HF from overmasturbation btw.

I just wonder how many HF cases are caused by pelvic floor dysfunction. It definitely seems like a lot are for sure but I wonder if all of them are.

The other thing I wonder is if you have just the HF and erection problems is if that implies that you don't have a pelvic floor dysfunction. And how many people who exclusively had HF can we say actually got better? Is there actually one example? I'm sure there must be but does anybody have a link to one? And I don't mean guys who only had it for a few weeks.

          • The thing with pelvic floor dysfunction is that the root is very difficuilt to find.

My therapist said that a little injury in the pelvic floor (especially bulbocavernosus or ischiocavernosus muscle) can cause chronic muscle spasm. The muscles protect themselfes but not in a good way.

She also said that anxiety, stress and bad habits are the main reasons for cpps/hard flaccid. Most people with pelvic floor issues are anxious and stressed people. Thats why admins say that you have to work on anxiety and stress. Without working on the mental issues you simply cannot cure hard flaccid. They are right because most people with cpps are clenching their pf muscles when they are anxious or stresses. It is a bad cycle. And most people dont notice it.

Your mindset is undeniably connected to your physical being. But we have to be careful how much emphasis we put onto the mental factors in this. I agree they matter, but the significance varies from case to case.

I've experience times where I thought I was getting better. Erections were better and everything (not 100% but yeah). I felt great. It's very easy to then attribute the healing to the mental side of things because you feel great. I did it myself. Especially once there has been a significant time between recovery and the present moment.

My symptoms then got randomly worse. My mindset hadn't changed. There's also times where I'm doing really well but my symptoms are bad.

I used to notice involuntarily kegels but I never do it anymore. No change in HF symptoms though.

Also, if you're fully cured from this thing and don't do the PE exercises... why are you on here so often? Not attacking. Just wondering.

Anyways... if anyone has any answers to my previous post just above I'd appreciate it.

              • I was jerkin and I was full erect, then went to WhatsApp.came back to jerk it was dead, like completely dead and small. I let it rest for 15 days, and morning woods started coming back..One day I physically stimulated to check erection and band a lil drop of sperm came out with a forceful kegel.there was no pain nothing.but in an hour I started feeling continuous urge of peeing, like still some drops in frenelum and urethra..I drank a lot of water and pissed a lot.

One day I had to catch the train and those two hours of sitting were enormous uncomfort.
Then I read hansprotocol , and realized some symptoms match to my problem.like frequent peeing & crotch pain & uncomfortable sitting as pain in hip and one or two more..

I started stretches and squats.in seven days, I felt like my urination problem is getting solved and that stiffness in the crotch area while standing is fading away..I urinate 8 or 9 times a day which I would count as frequent only but is much improved.though I have only be doing stretches and squats.no belly breathing combo and reverse kegel.i tried for two days but couldn't get it right.
As far as HF is considered , it's not my major problem.it only happens when I am sitting..when I am lying , it's movable( more rubbery kind), and when standing it's less intensed HF.

Sitting is still very uncomfortable as I feel force on my penis and as if my balls are getting bigger and I am sitting on it..I checked it was not balls but upper part
Of hips feels like it's being stuffed.from last four days, there is continuous dull ache in right testicle.lets hope in ten days with continuing protocol I will surpass this too.but mind you, testicle ache and throbbing is a new addition to my problem from four days.

I am sure with right mindset, Hansprotocol treats HF, I believe that.because these are basic stretches and breathing techniques. Physiotherapists will also do that to you.

My question is , suppose it cures HF but does it help to get your dick back like it was pre Injury.lets say, My HF problem will be fully solved in a month, then what.I will have to go on with my rubbery dick?

                • I like to help other people with these symptoms because i experienced it myself and know how these people suffer. I was depressed and anxious, too but if you beat cpps you will be a much stronger person.

Hm did you see a pf specialist? Maybe there is some underlying cause (back issues, misbalances in hips)?

I'm seeing one in a month. He's going to do an internal exam too (hooray.... always wanted another man to put things in my ass!!!111! lol). I don't have much hope for it helping tbh but I'm certainly open to it. I just don't want to have any expectations. Thus far, medical science has failed me all the way. He should be able to tell me if he feels tension and how much. Only thing that concerns me is that a lot of people probably have tension in their PF so I don't think me having tension there would necessarily indicate it's the cause of my HF. My muscles are pretty tense in my whole body. Not beyond normal but normal for someone who does a lot of sitting and little exercise. I'm not overweight or even close or anything. Just not in that good shape. I'm definitely open to muscle tension being the cause. In fact, it seems to be the most likely thing out of all the options that have been discovered.

I just don't quite understand what this hard weird cord/string-like thing under my penis is. I didn't notice it when the injury onset. It could have always been there for all I know. I also question if I can feel it better because the smooth muscle in my penis is tighter. I also hold my penis differently now and at a different place after the injury (because of a substantial loss of girth) so that could also be the reason I noticed it more during masturbation. I really don't know. There seems to be all kinds of complaints about things under people's penises though (some more visible and less subtle than others). A lot don't even have HF.

Would you say you've had noticeable improvement? Has the improvement been consistent or did it happen during the first two weeks and then stayed the same for 2 months 2 weeks.

Very interesting. I believe this applies to Penis enlargement. When you do PE exercises there's obviously some trauma put on the penis. Therefor the pf muscles are trained to protect the penis from further trauma by making the muscles tense.

Is it right below the glans? I have it also but not nearly as bad as some time ago. Its probably lymph build up due to a poor lymphatic system flow. Ive had this for 3 months or so but slowly with massage and hot water cold water therapy its disappearing. Do you have swollen lymph nodes in the groin area? I believe a tense pf causes probelms with the lymph system

No. It's around the base/shaft area. It seems that everyone can find some kind of unique thing on/in their penis though lol. I really have no idea at this point. It has no presence whatsoever on the outside of the penis. Meaning it isn't visible in any way. Just gonna have to waste my time going to a urologist again to likely be told there is no issue. I'm going to make him feel that part of it to make sure though. The problem is it's more prominent when erect so it'll be less noticeable.

My penis does become more spongey/soft when I urinate though which may be indicative of PF issues? I just wonder if it works that way for everybody. HF or not.

                              • No. I get this spot/swelling thing under my armpit occasionally but it comes and goes. Not sure if it's a lymph node or not. It doesn't bother me. Has come and gone for as long as I can remember. It's a little tender and painful but easily tolerable. Would appreciate if people tried to answer my questions too and not just just ask them btw but yeah.
