Is it so shocking that men are not exited at the prospect of being average? I never set out to be average in any way...ever. It's excellence or die trying.

It's one thing if you're obviously in a place where you can improve and want to improve. In which case, sure thing, go for it. Be the best that you can be.

But if you think that being perfectly normal and acceptable is a bad thing? Then you're a dick. And if you care what someone else says they think about you (if it's derogatory they're probably hiding their own insecurities) then seriously. Get over yourself. You're better off than a lot of people, and believing in yourself no matter what will not make you better than anyone, but you will be a lot happier, and very little will get in your way.

For some that is easier said than done, they want to be the best they can be and being average isn't good enough. I myself do not like being average as that is all I have ever been and I am extremely critical of myself which is another cause of it as well.

yes but with the art you are talking about the quality not the size of it... when average is being used when discussing size its referring to measurement and not the quality. I do get the why men attach the other average even before i made this thread. i made the thread to discuss the topic and to see if there is away of describing the middle size or the medium or the mid range with it being about the size not the quality. And i am wanting to challenge the "if you aren't big you are small" mentality that happens. I mean there are a lot of members here who are small aiming for average but they hear all the time that average is not good enough or worse small (which is not true.)

Some relationships have shown guys that their average penis was the bad part, by having a girl tell them otherwise, making them believe it.

As for the word, there is nothing better than average to describe average. Average isn't bad or good, it just is, but because it is in the middle and there isn't a whole lot of room for the needle to go to the bad or good territory it is then up to the person to decide what average means to them. Some are happy with it, but others are not.

Women are allowed their own insecurities. We men are going to have ours. As long as you don't let it hold you back, no harm done. Self improvement is healthy. Again, average is not bad, it's just not exceptional.

I guess I should have left this thread alone. My mind clearly cannot grasp the purpose of this exorcise. It's not the word average that men have a problem with. It's the very concept.
