Ok guys, here's the question. I recently read an article that here in the USA approximately 30% of people between the ages of 18 and 30 identify as bisexual. I been around forums like this for a awhile and I agree there is a lot of bisexual people. Many people claim that all guys are bi to some point. I've been in a locker room enough to know that most all guys check each other out. Also one thing that has really surprised me is the amount of straight guys that jerk to gay porn. I will admit that I have Jerked off with a few of my buddies. I would never think of doing anything else with a guy. But it was fun. I have kinda been researching this for a while and so far this has been what I've come across. 75% of guys admit to masturbating with a close friend, 25% say they would like to but are scared. Only 5% say they have no interest in this activity.

How bi, if any are you? What would you do if no one would ever found out? Do you check out other guys in the gym or when you're out in public?

For myself, I'm not sure, I'm married now and wouldn't do anything with another guy. But I feel mostly, I'm aroused by the thought of other guys, but when I'm with them I loose interest. I don't watch porn at all because I'm afraid of getting hooked. But I could definitely be interested in watching other guys masturbating in porn.

First off, I don't believe for a second that 30% of the US population 18-30 is bisexual. NO WAY! Maybe 15% would be my guess, at most. There's a HUGE difference between being "Bi-curious" and Bisexual. Yeah, sure all guys check each other's equipment in locker rooms, it's perfectly normal human curiosity to see how you size up vs everybody else. But 75% saying they've mutually masturbated with another guy? NO WAY! I've never considered doing that, nor do I know anyone who has, or at least would admit to it. A lot of guys do masturbate to PORN (alone usually), either gay or otherwise, it's all PORN, and it's NOT a habit to develop, 'cause it has been proven to lead to ED in many guys.

I have no desire to do anything sexual with another male, personally. Those thoughts never occur to me. Have I seen guys I thought were attractive? Sure, but not in a sexual way. I think many young males today are gender-confused, just my opinion. But the numbers your quoting are way off, I believe. Please cite your sources, OP, for the statistics you're offering up here.

My immediate thought was that if you are aroused by the thought of other guys then you are bi but haven't admitted it to yourself yet?

If I were to jerk off to gay porn (which I don't) I would seriously consider my sexuality with regard to considering myself straight.

Not bi or other here but can completely understand why people might indicate an interest. However, I would question that statistic. As of 2014, those who identified as bi was less than 1% (from the CDC, July 2014 Nat'l Health Statistics Reports). Now, perhaps those who might respond that they are curious could be much higher. Women for one tend to respond in much greater numbers that they might be bi-curious - which of course is going to skew any survey results that don't take gender responses into consideration.

Interesting topic. I am as straight as anyone could be, and due to my extremely Alpha male personality, I could never see myself pleasuring with a man, or to a man, or parallel with a man. In fact, I NEVER use public urinals. I always go in the stall at least to avoid all those eyes staring at me. So I would take that "statistic" (since, as we know, 99% of stats are made up ) with the tiniest grain of salt.

I'm supportive of the affairs of my gay and lesbian friends, but I've always felt that bisexuality was something of a cop-out. I personally don't think that by the tiniest degrees, anyone could be 100% straight/gay. I could, for example, admire as I do how attractive another man could be. "He looks sharp in the suit" or "Damn, I wish I could rock a hairstyle like that", or -- in the case of this Gym -- "Holy hell, I wish I had a dick like that! That is a nice looking dick!"

Am I a bisexual? Nope! Would I consider myself one? Nope! Since sexuality, orientations, and even gender these days have been thrown on this goofy, politically-correct "spectrum", I'd try to define my sexuality as "What am I MORE excited about in a sexual context?" As such, having sex with females makes the mark for me. Even if you're at least partial to sex with either gender, there will be one you might just favor more than the other.

@wannaride.. I agree fully, I'm not Bi, Gay etc. and would never "try" to be, ever.. But there are those "Damn that guy is great shape" or "That is a very attractive guy dressed to the 9".. It's an "Admiration" feeling and nothing more, I could see it being somewhat confusing to some..

BUT.. It's also that same way when one sees a very attractive Female of the same.. The fact I would want to hump the Female doesn't equate for this argument, lol

The percentages I posted are just from what I have talked to. I have done this through forums like this one and others. I have just talked to others through personal messages and asked. It just seems to me that a lot of guys do enjoy masturbating with their friends. I know I enjoyed it, but as I stated, it's not something I want to do any longer. But like others have stated here, they do find other guys attractive. When I see what I think is a good looking guy, I never think sexual things that I'd like to try.


I'm mainly just trying to figure myself out here. One thing I have found is if you get talking to guys in a setting where it is more private, most admit they would like to jerk with a friend.
