I don't believe so. My feeling is that the rigid walls would limit the expansion of the glans, resulting in more friction force against the casting, which would be a good thing. The only way to find out though is to just go for it and see for myself

The mold silicone came in today. Unfortunately I couldn't find my hot glue gun, so I have to pick one up tomorrow after work so that I can pour the mold (I'm working 12 hour shifts for the next 6 days, so progress is kind of slow). The hot glue will be used to seal the bottom of the buck inside the mold cavity before the pour.

If all goes well, I'll be pouring the mold tomorrow

Hey DJ, if the mold doesn't work you can use the mold from an ELS40 heres the link( Male Enhancement Tension Device Penis Stretcher Extender Enlarger by ESL40 Wht | eBay) it is a silicone which is prefitted for a tight fit with the hook at the end to hang, this may save you some time. Also you can ask TLC hugger he makes silicone cones with a hook to hang from he may make one for you if you give him the exact measurements from the top of the glan to the bottom, just make sure they are spot on measurements, this may help good luck bro.
Gonna make it WIDER (Thats an attention getter!)

The mold is poured, I updated post #4 with Step 2: Making the mold from the buck
It will cure overnight and I'll update tomorrow

As hard as it is to believe, my wife wasn't all too impressed to see me hogging the counter and deflowering her tupperware without warning!
I thought you chose to use the tupperware because you were going to use the vacuum pump to pull out the bubbles. It would have screwed up one of the lids to add a valve for the vacuum, but it would have pulled out all the bubbles.

That process is called vacuum degassing, and is normally performed after the mix but before the actual pouring. If you look for some videos on the process, the silicone foams up greatly during the process, which is why it's done before the pour so that it can return to a liquid state. One reason I choose OOMO 30 is because it has a very low viscosity for a mold rubber and does not require vacuum degassing.

When casting for strength and uniformity, the standard process is actually opposite of what one would believe - many professional molds and castings are cured an an autoclave under pressure to compress any few remaining bubbles to the smallest state possible. This doesn't apply either in this case as OOMO 30 is designed specifically for the "at home" crowd that lack the equipment necessary for vacuum degassing and pressurized casting

Awesome observation regardless. I should have put this info in the post!

Edit: Here is a link showing what happens during vacuum degassing and why it must be done before the pour:

I use my brake bleeding kit to degas my silicone before casting it. I really like how the finished product turns out.

I stayed up late last night watching a movie with the wife and got to demold around midnight last night.

All I can say is Wow! The mold came out absolutely perfect. Not a single bubble, pit or casting defect anywhere. It separated from the tuperware very easily, and the buck came out with ease as well leaving a perfectly imprinted cavity.

Tomorrow the Alginate and the casting polymer should be here... A couple more days and this should be done!

Note that I decided not to use the Ecoflex silicone in the production of the hanger, but I was almost out anyways so no big deal! The original plan was to cast my penis reproductions with Ecoflex, but I decided to use the remaining OOMO 30 from step 1 instead. (this will mean less materials needed for anyone else wanting to try this)

I attempted my first hanger pour this morning after getting off of work. I won't know if it was successful or not until tomorrow (the clear resin has a 24-hour cure time).

All I did was cut down a disposable cup to suspend my penis reproduction into the mold and did my pour. I cut windows all the way around the cup so I could look in and make sure that everything was centered as it should be. The reproduction barely fits into the mold width-wise, so I'll have to see if after curing the casting is strong enough for use. Worse case scenario is that I have to do another pour and use a big clamp to physically deform the mold to be a bit more oval in shape to ensure sufficient wall thickness all the way around.

I also rolled a condom tightly over my penis reproduction. I think this will be an effective method of smoothing-out the sharp undercuts behind the coronal ridge without any effort. I was able to stretch the condom on tight enough to eliminate the reservoir tip. There were also a few small flaws in the penis reproduction (I think do to a bit of moisture still being on the alginate - I will add a note in the steps to use a hair dryer to be absolutely sure there is no moisture!), so the condom will also fix these areas.

I must say, seeing your own penis from a different vantage point is quite an experience! Even having gained significant size, I still don't consider myself huge - but If I were to see a dildo the size of my reproduction I would consider it quite large indeed. Perhaps I should give myself a little more credit

Just did some more experimentation. I removed the "upside down red cup" that was suspending the reproduction in the mold, and simply replaced it's function with a couple of tooth-picks pushed into the silicone. This gives me a much better view for centering the reproduction in the mold.

The black electrical tape at the top is only there to hold the condom tightly on the reproduction.
