    Hi growinthextrainch,

We tend to have fantastic deals running on our official website that you really can't get anywhere else. That makes spare parts seem more expensive at normal price.

Keep in mind, if you are an X4 Labs user, you likely have a $50 store voucher that came with your extender that you can use for spare parts. You can also call one of our reps between 9 am to 5 pm EST and get a deal on an addon like our wide girth base over the phone. Often they will offer it at the same cost you would have paid for it if you added it at the time of purchase.

Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks.

    • I am a new user and am having problems with pain and numbness of the glans. I cant seem to get strapped in with any reasonable tension without pain and cold/numbness of the glans. I really want to use for 4 hrs a day but it is almost unbearable. I tried to wrap with the foam and an ace bandage and that helps slipping some but still is painful. Any help would be appreciated

        Hi honestnewb,

While it can be a little trickier to wear your device a specific way when you are uncircumcised, you can still get the same great results as every else if you adjust your device to your size and shape. Even circumcised users often experience a learning curve when they first start penile traction therapy.

My advice to you, experiment with different fasteners and configurations. You may be better suited with a silicone tube harness than a comfort strap. Also, really helps if you have the InfiniteFit Support piece. You can use two fasteners of your choice at the same time. This can offer you a much firmer grip, and virtually eliminate slippage.

Let me know if you have any specific questions about fasteners and support and we will get back to you.

        Thanks.

          Hi Ronemex1,

Your issues are most likely related to wearing your fasteners too tight. It is really important to balance comfort and tension when wearing your device. Also, may help to take periodic 20-30 minute breaks every hour or so, so you can regain proper circulation prior to proceeding.

Many users do this and it will not negatively affect your results. Also, feel free to reduce the tension at first. Feeling a gentle pull is all you need. Feeling discomfort is often due to applying too much tension, too fast.

          Hope this helps, thanks.

          • X4....thanks for the reply. I've been using the device for 2 weeks now and getting used to it for sure. Nice device I must say! The other question I have...well 2 part question. 1st...since I have the red premium edition it states 3300 g's of tension. So I really shouldn't worry about the lines right now since I would be around 1100 g's of tension at the lowest setting correct? At least for the last couple of weeks I have been staying at my BPFSL. Put in abou 7 hours a couple days ago. Now I split that up into 2 sessions of 2.5 hours then one at 2 hrs. No manual or jelqs during that time. So this leads me into my next question...I've read conflicting statements on regards to wearing the device. So, would like to ask...is it better to do 1-2 hour breaks...take it off...regain circulation then but it back on doing this through out th he day for the set # of hours or try to stay in it longer each time for the set # of hours. I have read both. I personally think that 1 1/2 intervals for set # of hours works but want your thoughts..
            Thanks!

            • Also...sorry for the long questions. My other question is I've read here that the device is about 3.75 inches long basic set up. Now I measured the device and I get 3.5 inches. Is the current device which I have shorter? I use this measurement to determine the amount of stretch to apply with my rods. Now if course I measure BPFSL just below the glans since that is where I strap in. So my BPFSL is 5 in. So I use a inch bar plus the 1/2 bar. That is what I've been using for the last 2 weeks. Now after my 7 hr day, I feel I can move up to the 2 inch bar and go from there that would put me at 5.5 inches for the extender. Am I on track here too?
              Thanks for your help!

                Hi Blkpanther66,

Glad you are getting more accustomed to wearing your device. Pretty much all users need a week or two to fully get used to it.

My advice to you is don't worry about the exact amount of tension. Simply apply as much tension as possible without being uncomfortable. Again, if you are feeling a gentle tug along your shaft, you're enlarging (or straightening in some cases). Slowly increase the tension over time, but do this gradually.

As for your second question, it is an interesting one. Pretty much all our users from our Clinical Study report that they take periodic breaks during sessions. I checked with our data team, and they say that if you wear your device consistently over time you will have positive gains. Breaks do not change this fact.

Generally, we would recommend perhaps taking shorter breaks of 15-30 minutes rather to an hour or more.

One thing I can tell you first hand is that if you wear your device at the rate you are wearing it now (between 4-8 hours a day) even with session breaks, you will see results quickly. Also, taking breaks will help you mentally, because you won't find your sessions as tedious. Make sure you take measurements every week for motivation. Really helps.

                Thanks.

Hi again, and thanks for your question.

Adding elongation rods to your device will increase the tension. In essence stretching your penis further out. You should be adding these over time as you see gains.

However, if you want to add length to the device, you can turn the knobs at the bottom and get smaller increments of length than you should with even the 1/2 elongation rod.

As I said in a previous post, there are no concrete rules for X4 Labs users. Everyone's penis is different and thus fits into the device differently. In time you will need to switch in the 2 inch bar, but for now use the knobs to add length.

                  Thanks.

                  • Thanks for getting back....took a bit but thank you. Well I guess I should've read my post before sending it. I meant to state that My sessions go for 1.5-2 hours with actually 10-20 minutes recovery time for circulation and I agree it helps me mentally. Now I have read that some are staying in the device for 4,5, 6 hrs at a time and I just don't understand that. If you're applying enough tension...there is no way you can stay in the device for that long without proper circulation if you're applying enough tension. Just my opinion I guess. So that was my question....and from your response I feel am on the right track. So 4-6 hrs a day at 1.5-2 hour sessions with 10-20 minute breaks. Now I will split that time up during the day. So, 3-4 hrs depending on how I'm feeling during the session.with a break inbetween....then later on in the day....do another 2-3 hrs at 1-1.5 hr sessions with breaks in between. So am I on the right track with this routine? Sorry for the confusion.

                    • I own an x4 labs starter edition that was bought in 2012. It has three notches to indicate the gram tension. I'd like to know what each notch equals in terms of grams and perhaps how many total grams the device is able to apply. Thanks.

                      • Blkpanther66 - I have only been wearing the x4 for 9 months, but, from my experience, you are on the right track. You are right, there is no way you can wear the device for 6 hours without a break if you have proper tension. Monitor your glans. If it starts to get cool to the touch, that's not good. Mine starts to get cool at 1.5 hour mark, so I use a 1.25 hour interval. The key, in my opinion, is long sessions, not intervals. One 6 hour session a day will get you gains quicker than two 3 hour sessions a day.

                        • Hey there X-1....yes that is what I thought just wanted confirmation on that. I had to take a w week break for getting a injury. Sucks but probably worth it. I can scan back a bit and start fresh. Probably will do 4 hour a day session for now until split into 2 hr session in the morning....2 hr session in the afternoon evening with minor manual streching inbetween.
Also just so everyone knows...my injury had to do with going to quick and not lubricating suffiently when trying to ball strech. Wore a leather stretcher and it tore right above the scrotum, base of shaft so couldn't wear an extender or stretch. Almost healed so should be starting again next week!

                              Hi Blkpanther66,

I apologize for any confusion. Wearing your device that long may seem may seem impossible to you right now, but if I am sure you have noticed, the more you experience penile traction therapy, the easier and more natural it feels.

It is a lot like exercising at a gym. Slowly over time your body becomes more and more accustomed to it and you end up being able to achieve session lengths you felt were impossible when you first started out. That is why we strongly recommend you increase the tension and hours of usage as you go and not try to overdo it from the start.

To answer your question, you are 100% on the right track with the routines you mentioned. I think you are doing great. Keep it up and you will have positive results in no time. Just remember to take periodic measurements!

                              Thanks.

                                Hi rnnmmn,

I appreciate your question. The tension levels of all our devices are set in multiples of 3. For example, if you have a device that has a maximum tension of 3000 grams, each notch on your piston represents 1000 grams worth of tension. Our Starter addition in 2012 had a maximum spring tension of 1500 grams. However, it has since been increased over time.

                                Thanks.
