I am a , or was a C and E’r. Christmas and Easter, unless my kids were having their monthly children’s choir. Now no Easter, just Christmas Eve. Silent Night with candles is great. I did go to church a couple Sundays ago to deliver our Thanksgiving food basket, the service was half over, snuck in and sat with my surprised Mrs. Very happy to see she wasn’t sitting with another guy, LOL. I enjoyed the sermon, very Joel Osteen esc, the pastor was just as freaked out as my wife to see me on a non holiday.

I need to add to my answer. Even though i don’t attend church regularly, i am a true believer and talk to God all the time. You don’t need a church or Pastor to have a personal relationship with God. It’s been obvious over the last few months my belief in the power of prayer. It’s in my signature. My family has had a very blessed Thanksgiving, a lot to thank Him and you all for. Thanks be to God.

I made my mother a turtle.

When she was a child, she wasn't told that their shell was connected to their body.
She ripped the turtle out of it's shell to see it's "house".

She told me when when I was a very little kid, and it scarred me for life.

EVERY SINGLE project I made her in school was a turtle haha!

Not Christmas, but we usually take the kids to several fall carnivals.

I generally do not, but I have before and it was a great experience! I think it's a good way to spend time with friends and family during the holidays, but also not upset if I don't get to go.

I handmake the missus a card every year, I feel it has more meaning and it's always fun to do. Good to have a creative side plus she loves it, gotta keep her happy.

My family and I celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ by sitting down and enjoying a beautiful home cooked meal and spending time with loved ones.

My family does a secret Santa type exchange of Christmas ornaments each yeah at our gathering on Christmas Eve.

My cat has always taken a liking to eating the tinsel off the Christmas tree. Since the material is indigestible, it eventually would pass through her and into her litter box encased in little nuggets.

One year I got the great idea to put a hook through one of these festive nuggets, box it up in a nice ornament gift box, and enter it into our secret Santa exchange.

Everyone had a good laugh at it and for the next 5 years no one could figure out who kept bringing the “tinsel turd” ornaments - there were several of us that had pets capable of producing such a joy.

I don’t anymore. After years and years of trying to convince my mother that Jesus would rather us be happy at home on Christmas, she wouldn’t budge - we attended Christmas morning mass every year.

After moving on to my own life, this tradition of course did not continue. Oddly enough she doesn’t go anymore either and says “I was just trying to set a good example” when we give her crap for enjoying the convenience of her own home all Christmas morning nowadays.

When I was younger we used to attend church on Christmas and Easter. It used to be so special because we would always go to the late service and then straight to bed so Santa could come. As of the past few years though we haven't attended much.

When in College, we went to Vespers in the nicely decorated college chapel. When the kids were young we attended Christmas Eve 5:00 mass followed by dinner at the local Italian restaurant.

Once the kids left, Christmas became very secular.

I used to attend Church on Christmas day, it was more a tradition than anything to fully get that Christmas experience. My family we're very religious, as I've grown up though I've become less so, but find other ways to spread Christmas cheer, one day after a drunken Christmas party for example I drunkenly gave a homeless man sitting next to a cash machine £20, the hug he gave me was probably the best thing about the experience.
