If you've never trained before then your entire potential lies unclaimed. Even if you've trained before you should still realize gains- especially if you haven't tapped enough of your potential. Once I know more about your training history and habits I'll have a much better answer for you.
We can focus on your girth exclusively if you like, and by isolating it that should accelerate your gains in that area. The same would apply to length.
