      Porn addiction is a HUGE contributing factor to why a lot of men don't progress as they should.

      • hey big al, this year i started doing jelq free routine side to side stretch but some time ago i read a post on the front page that doing side to side wasn't the exercise for me, because i'm a "grower". the post said that growers benefit more from high volume training and i wanted to know what high volume training i can do to get length gains. thanks

          You could be a grower for any number of reasons, and there's criteria for "growers" vs "showers" that's variable- resting EQ, body fat content, etc. Unless these variables are accounted for you shouldn't necessarily design your training around this idea.

          The Side to Side stretch lends itself to higher volume- as compared to other advanced stretches. I'd suggest experimenting with them before attempting any device work.

          • Hey big Al. I have question. though, I probably already know the answer, i'll like to gt your take on it.

            13 weeks ago i started hanging, about 5 pounds for 10 and a half hours a week. in 6 and a half weeks i gained .20. as someone who has never been an avid hanger till recently, I'm incredibly excited about he possibilities.

            now, my routine in the first 5 and half weeks consisted of an hour of hanging a day 6 days a week, and one day of hanging 4 hour hanging day, hanging 5 pounds. occasionally i would take a day off and make up the hours another day.

            i stuck with that routine for another 6 and a half weeks but didn't gain as much as the previous 6 and a half weeks. i that time frame i gained .05.

            now, I'm not completely disappointed, that puts me at 8.25 bpel and I'm very grateful for that.

            to my problem.

            yesterday, i decided that i would add more weight, an extra 3 pounds to be exact, and my ligs felt that incredible initial stretch you first feel when starting hanging for the first time. it felt great. initially. the problem is, after some time, my dick bled a bit from the urethra. not a lot, but it's blood nonetheless.

            i'm not sure whether or not i need rest, go back on the weight or both.

            any advice?

                Training six days a week is quite rough. Your results might have been accelerated with more rest.

                How progressive were you in adding time to your individual sessions (as seen here)? Are you performing any other exercises?

                • hi Big Al i would like girth gain im looking for girth focused exercises maybe like this routine it can be warm up-uli's-jelqing-stamina work IS it good routine? and also i dont know it before jelqing then uli's or before uli's after jelqing which is true ? thank you

                    I'd pick the jelq OR the ULI. Both of these exercises are similar enough to where doing both is redundant- except for perhaps a few reps of warm up jelqs to get the blood flowing.

                      not very progressive. i would do an hour a day for 6 days, and 4 hours on the 7th day, at 5 pounds. occasionally i would jelq.

                          that was my structured routine. apart from the jelqs, i was pretty deliberate with said routine. about the link to the routine you posted; on a two days on 1 day off, 1 day of girth work one day of length work, is about 3 hours of hanging a day...

                          isn't it advocated that you should work yourself up to at least ten hours a week? my routine was as it was because i didn't really have time to do 10 hours a week on a 2 hours a day 5 days a week pattern.

                            A truly structured routine would usually be progressive in nature- you'd start the cycle at a comfortable setting and ensure some form of forced progress each session.

                            You can pre-exhaust with manual stretching to drastically cut down on the time needed in the device.
