I don't mean to question you, and congrats on all that coitus, but how do people remember numbers like this when it comes to sex? Is there some sort of journal, diary, or sex abacus that folks use to keep track?

Early on I kept track. When you get to double digits and like fifty, but after a certain point you lose track. I don't remember when I hit triple digits because I wasn't keep track anymore.

I have another question why even try to build a high number . The double standard also troubles me a woman with 270 partners would be looked down on by many.

There are double standards all across society. A man sleeps around and he's a man. A woman is a whore. If a woman wants to take time off from work to devote to her family or go back to school it's ok. If a man does that he's a lazy ass. If a woman slaps a man, no one really says much. If a man puts his hands on a woman most of us will think he deserves to get his ass beat.

I think the idea is that this threads purpose was to address anxiousness with the first time, and concern that certain experiences should happen by a specific age.

With that in mind, a person trying to address those issues probably wouldn't find it very encouraging to see a bunch of posts by people without those concerns, and instead detailing their many experiences with no attempt at offering solutions.

I agree that it is a bit unnecessary here, opposite of the purpose, and a conversation that would probably have been better suited to it's own thread.

I think it would help the virgins if others told them about their experience/how it felt.

I was a virgin as was my wife when we got married. I was 22 and my wife was ... well she'd have to kill if I told. It was uncomfortable for both of us as I had to break her cherry. Neither of us were told anything about "the process". I just know it left a blood spot on the sheets. I had an orgasm, she didn't. I had to return to the U.S. the next day. She had to stay behind to take care of some personal issues. It wasn't until early November that we had the beginning of 50 years of great sex. Our son was born in September, a little over a year later.

Nice story. We were virgins too. I was, she says, first time was terrible. As later r are still together. I’ve improved, LOL. My 27 year old daughter is still a virgin. We support her decision she’s a Christian and waiting for her future husband. I love her very much.

Me and my ex were both virgins as well before marriage. Can't say it helped or hurt honestly. It was more religious views than anything. But now you better believe I'm going to do extensive trial runs on the next girl before I put a ring.
