    Handle your penis with one hand exclusively (esp. when masturbating) and you can develop a curve that favors the dominant hand. That type of curve usually isn't related to Peyronie's.

      Here's the thing fellas, the pelvic floor and all the muscles that make up your sexual health are naturally designed to retract when the nervous system fires up. Until you become comfortable with this natural mechanism you will never know the other side of HF. You can do as much physical therapy as you want which is great and all (I do restorative exercise because it's just flat out good for your body and I like to be haelthy) but so long as you have not gotten comfortable in your body amidst the discomfort your body will not let this go. It will continue to think something is wrong because ultimately YOU think something is wrong. This is a reaction happening in your subconscious, as in your reptilian brain. Until you, up there in your neocortex, gets comfortable with the situation it will not go away.

      You can speculate and rationalize for years about this or you can take my two cents and run with it. Stop thinking about your dick. Get your head out of the equation. Be healthy. Go live your life. Do TRE to mellow out your nervous system. Having sexual issues is traumatic. The longer you have this and don't deal with it, the more susceptible you will be to more debilitating mental problems.

      Stop checking the state of your penis. Stop freaking out. Whatever physical damage has been done can't heal itself until you calm down anyways. The body does not do well in perpetual states of fight/flight or freeze mode. So it's literally not worth giving any amount of mental attention other than to work in a few extra healthy habits into your life.

      If you don't do this because it sounds too "irrational" and not enough of a materialistic "cure" to you then you are going to waste years building up an ego that is attaching to the idea that you have a fucked up dick and and that is not EVER going to serve you. Not now and not in the future. Your body will learn to fear your own sexuality and you will have a whole other mountain to climb.

      Work on your life. Work n your confidence. And work on your presence. Be healthy that's great. But don't do it out fear that something is wrong. You're gonna fuck yourself if you go that way and it will take years instead of months to recover from losing your sexual function.

      Face your internal feelings of fear and anxiety and worry and dis-ease everywhere you go. Do that and your balls will drop like a motherfucker. Man up. Your body is waiting for you to give it the green light to calm down. Watch your thoughts. Are you at ease or are you speculating? Your body sure knows. Do you though? That's the thing. You're out of touch.

      For those who lost their functioning over night through an injury or whatever, that's a trauma to the body. It needs time to rest and regenerate. But in order to do so it needs you to go about your life, not freak out, and just be normal. For those who got in this situation over time it's the same thing. The physical problems will heal themselves. Yes, PT is helpful if you've been harboring tension for a long time or using your body incorrectly. But that is not the root if this has become chronic for you.

      Also realize most of you have probably been overmasturbating for years. That's traumatic to the body because it can't keep up. So one day it's finally just like, NO, NO MORE. And you have HF all fucking day and you freak out. Just listen to your body. It needs a break. Give it a break. Let your sexual vitality come back to you. Don't chase it. This thread is like a bunch of hamsters on a wheel trying to get to the food right in front of the wheel and you just churn and churn and churn and can never quite get there. GET OFF THE WHEEL!!!! GET OFF THE FORUM!!!! And you can gracefully walk over to scrumptious pile of food you've been trying so hard to get to. IT'S RIGHT THERE!

      Remember EVERY GUY HAS HAD HARD FLACCID at some point in their lives. It's a biological adrenaline response. The body is made to withdraw energy from the reproductive organs at certain times. But the confident ones don't pay it any mind because they don't have even the slightest doubt in their sexual functioning. I've talked to a lot of friends about this. You should do the same. Ask some good friend if his dick ever turtles up and he will say yes. The problem is you have now attached a large emotional fear around this bodily reaction and you are now caught in a feedback loop.

      Most of you all probably have either OCD issues or anxiety issues to some extent or another which is what made you susceptible to this. I'm telling you though you gotta do some TRE and keep on doing it. Other than that just live your life. Your body will heal. It needs you to get your head out of it. The mind cannot heal this through endless speculation. That only strengthens the ego problems which will make this recovery take that much longer.

      I'm not posting anymore for a few days at least. I made the website for a reason.

      • So I've been trying to stay off the forums and just follow Voodoo's list.... But I had a freakout last night. Sorry for the "TMI" in advance...

        So I've been having a myriad of sexual health problems for quite some time (seen in my post history) I've worried about but this one takes the cake I'd say. I already know my testosterone is low and I have a hard flaccid penis and a tight/hypertonic pelvic floor as well as a scrotum that's often shrunken. But last night I masturbated and my ejaculate was a dark orangeish/brown color!! Also a tiny black dot about the size of a small drop of blood came out in the semen as well (idk if it was blood or what because it was dark black). been freaking out since!!! I also must say the semen came out differently texture wise. It was mushy/clumpy and just kinda slowly oozed out like a very thick gel. Almost like the texture of honey that's starting to crystalize. (Weird analogy I know)

        Should I see a doctor? GP? Urologist?


        Can anyone give me any insight/words of wisdom? I'm in mental freakout mode and don't know if I should not masturbate for a while as well...

          Dont freak out man. First, I don't think the colour semen is an indicator of a major health issue. I've read about it before and sometimes its just from blood. You should still go to a doctor and check it out anyways (blood and urine analysis).

          also, how did you get hard flaccid? And did you abstain right after getting it or did you continue trying to masturbate? And have you tried pelvic physiotherapy?

          • Gonna try and stay off the forums, after this response, for a bit to clear my head and stay proactive. I got hard flaccid from sexual exhaustion/overmasturbation (often literally back to back)/masturbation addiction.

            Didn't abstain from it and kept with my masturbation technique/habits the next few years after I first got it and gradually hard flaccid state got worse and to a point of complete 24/7 presence. Now at the point where I abstain about once a week (sometimes less, sometimes more) and masturbation is never from libido, solely from a place of "testing" (havent masturbated from true, natural libido for at least a couple years- because of absence of libido). Trying to change that though.

            As for pelvic physiotherapy, have I tried it? Yes. Have I been consistent with it for a decent amount of time? Not at all.
            My goal is to give RE a long, dedicated go

              • Have you been taking some medicines? Some medicines can cause that as well. Don't freak out. If you feel that concerned , go see a doctor. Just to clear your head.

                  I've had it for 2 weeks. I plan on abstaining until symptoms go away. Doing some physio - guessing its just a healing thing. Libido is gone? Are you stressed a lot? Have you had EMG tests for your penis to test nerves?

                  • Well I'm stressed a lot for sure... But my testosterone is also low because of how long this has affected me. Also I had/have a porn addiction which had me masturbating regularly out of boredom and not from being aroused beforehand... I'm not as worried right now about lack of libido as I am about the brown semen. And no I'm not on medication.

                    So I tried masturbating a second time soon after that initial post and what do you know, same thing. Only this time (very) slightly less dark and without the black dot. Also ejaculation almost felt like it was coming out from the "plumbing" the wrong way. It just didn't feel good and I have felt like shit since then.

                    Im calling a doctor tomorrow and getting in asap. And as much as i want to test i think i will avoid masturbation until then.

                    Is this something that could become a long term concern? I know noone's a doctor here but I'm worried the doctor could deal with it wrong because I'm sure it has something to do with my hard flaccid and extremely tight hypertonic pelvic floor. And docs don't know crap about hard flaccid. My body (specifically nether regions) is in too f'ed up of a state for this happening to just be a coincidence....

                    Any words of wisdom/or something to give me peace of mind.... Obviously my main concern is being forever screwed up downstairs...

                    • Do any of you guys have girth loss with erections? I have a decent girth when flaccid then when I get erection it doesn't get much thicker and losses blood flow quickly. It feels like it tightens up and extremely uncomfortable. I also am addicted to porn for stimulation and am trying nofap. I just want to know why a muscular guy with lots of body hair and beard is experiencing emotional breakdowns and hard flaccid. I don't know what to do?                       • Hey mate I am thinking of Accutane too. I took some tablets in school which my doctor gave me for acne. I am hoping it wasn't accutane. I have lost little bit of girth but probably down to loss of eq so I wouldn't worry too much about it mate. When we recover this should come back. I don't think you can permanently decrease the size of your penis you were born with

                        • So you don't think by taking accutane at 16 I could have stunt my penis growth? I've read everything from accutane lowers growth hormone to lowering testosterone. I didn't know any of this at the time. If this medicine has been around since the 80s surely doctors would have known it messed with teenagers hormones by the time I took it.

                          I know my stress is making this a hundred times worse but I can't break this cycle. I have been researching accutane for years and I know that makes it worse. If anyone is a similar position and can share you would really be helping.

                          • Hey guys, been following PEgym for a while now since I've acknowledged my porn and jerking off issues since last summer. Pretty sure I have "hard flaccid" issues, where you feel like you have blue balls when you really don't. It's a very constricting, strained, tired feeling which happens when I'm soft. There's no real issue when I'm hard, just the regular pain "distracting" my dick from being hard. Real issues began when I was 20 (25 now) when I was jerking off sitting down. I was on the can, with my laptop on the counter to my right, so I was twisted to the right while beating it. I also already came once, and was trying to force out another when something popped a little ways above and to the left of my dick.

                            Now, I don't believe this is a major factor, since after a little while I resumed jerking, and my dick issues had already been apparent the year before in college, when I was messing around with this gifl, everything over the pants, and my dick was totally indifferent. The core of my issues are mental, but I digress. That bit of pain was a symptom of a growing physiological problem that I'm sure is why we're all here. When we first started beating off, you barely had to have the breeze blow on your dick to get hard. But, over time, our bodies got used to it, so we had to go harder, like any drug. So we all went more death grip.

                            The problem with death grib, imo, is that it passes over the nerves(which we've desensitized) designed for sex, our violent stroking instead stimulating the nerves that are very deep within us. Of course, this comes at the price of inflammation and possible damage, with possible pain indicators being masked as pleasure. Beating the shit out of our dick is the only way to get off, and it's a vicious cycle. Plus, since we're usually addicts, we're beating our dicks and not very excited about it, so the tissue gets beatup without ever really reaching maximum expansion and bloodflow.

                            For me, restraining myself from jerking off was especially hard because after a week or so of inactivity, erections became more painful as it felt like the blood vessels were not used to expnding. So, I would want to jerk off to keep everything loose, but then this would be counter productive to healing since I would submit the area to a jerking motion.

                            How then do we keep the area "in shape" without risking damage from yanky-crushy motions? All the different kegal excercises have helped. I believe cutting weight and cardio helps, especially sprinting. I think this is because it's high intensity in the legs, since squats (which gets a pump into your legs and works your core a bit-everything around your junk) hace the same or bigger effect.

                            The new thing I just discovered, which could be the missing link to tie everything together, is a fleshlight. I know what you're probably thinking, "fucking guy just registered and wrote all that preceding bullshit just to sell us shit!" Don't worry, I don't make money of this.                               I saw a urologist today. He, surprisingly, HAS HEARD OF HARD FLACCID. I was very surprised. He was younger though. Probably mid-30s. He said he's seen a number of men from penis enhancing exercises. He thinks the symptoms are related to some minor nerve trauma...but I'm not sure I really believed it. He said if I rest I will get better. He told me he's seen men that had complete numbness in their penis and got better after months of rest.

                              I will continue abstaining. I think its key, especially if you just got the injury.

                              • Good to see a urologist actually acknowledge this is actually real but I seriously have a hard time believing it's nerve damage, there are times where my unit feel completely normal, especially after urinating. If there was nerve damage it would never get better except when applying heat or something like that. Have hope guys you're not alone. Keep listening to the encouraging words of vodoo and let's wait for that obitoo forum to get back up and let's fix this together
