    I've been experimenting with the technique, but once I get to the point where the tickle sensation increases, reverse kegels seem to have no effect in stopping my PONR. Is this normal or am I doing them incorrectly. I'm pushing out my lower abdominal wall as if trying to urinate or push out a fart. It seems to be more effective in reducing my arousal level below a 7 but only for a while. Once I reach an arousal level say of 8.5 to 9 it seems to have less of an effect and reaching my PONR seems imminent.

    Maybe I'm doing it incorrectly? I'm pushing out my lower abdominal wall as if trying to urinate or push out gas.

    The last time I had sex i had to urinate and was holding it in. I've read countless times that this makes you reach PONR quicker because you're flexing your PC but in my case it seemed to have the opposite effect. Maybe I was inadvertently reverse kegeling? Is this even possible. I just thought it was odd that the pressure I felt actually reduced sensation to a somewhat controllable level.

      A: when I reach the PONR and I think I might ejaculate, I kegel to prevent that and stop stimulation immediately. Then I take a deep breath and reverse kegel a couple times, and resume slowly.

      A: I do it daily, as a routine. Kegel, reverse kegel. Kegel, reverse kegel...and so on

      A: It has. I have much more control now. Still I would like more control, however.

      I just stumbled upon this recently and it is still a learning experience for me. One more thing I wanted to define: COMPETING RESPONSE means a reverse kegel will take the place of a kegel, because the two cannot be done at the same time! This is a secret from Behavioral Psychology, in which I am getting a PhD

        Alright, cool, thanks for the timely response. However, now i am a bit confused. If I understand your original post correctly, you are saying to reverse kegel once you reach the PONR...which will teach your pc muscle to relax instead of flex, hence the competing response..... but in your response to my post you said that once you reach the PONR you kegel to prevent ejaculation...are these not contradictory statements? Perhaps I am just misunderstanding your point....either way, if you could clarify the situation that would be great

          Well yeah, that is the goal, but it takes practice to get that much control! Months of practice!

            do your pc muscles contract when you're doing a reverse kegel ?

            I tried doing this a few days ago but for me, the muscles i would use to pass gas seem to be different from the muscles i'd use to increase the speed of urine. If i were trying to pass gass, i'd push only the muscles around my anus similarly to when you're attempting to release a 'number 2' in the bathroom. When i push the muscles to increase the speed of urine though, those are primarily the muscles in the area between my anus and testicles, and i definately feel a 'pc' contraction similar to a normal kegel way more than when i do it the other way. ( although maybe a different feeling than that of a normal kegel ... more of a push .. then a pull )

            Which way sounds more correct to you ? Also, what did you mean when you say your taint area should be bulging like a frog ?

              Hey, chad - for reverse kegel the muscles you would use to pass gas (or push out solids) is like the lower abdominals. It is the same as if you were going to make your piss come out faster. I feel kinda like my diaphragm muscle is being used, then I feel a rush of blood and expansion of the area right behind the balls. The second "contraction" you described is a regular kegel. I'm getting better at it with practice

                I am sorry i DISAGREE you can do reverse kegaling till the cows com home but it doesn't totally stop the tickle sensation.I find it works when practicing alone but during sex it happens in the missionary position all the time but not so much woman on top.....I am convinced is a nervous system reaction that is more chemical and needs to be cured with either drugs or nutrients than simply kegals and reverse kegals.The easiest way i would assume is to just clamp down have an internal orgasm and keep going that I can see working better but that is hard to master

                  I found with mmo it is easier to master solo than duo. Once you have mastered solo, you must continue training to develop duo mastery. I do believe this technique will take you a long way towards mmo.

                    I get the tickle sensation like bendricks,i tried reverse kegels while having sex but it didnt help i think the only reason i cum fast is because off this tickle sensation even if im not that horny i still get this tickle sensation and it makes me cum quick :@

                        Have suddenly developed a stamina issue, I have been able to have intercourse for atleast 10 minutes or more up untill the last couple of weeks, now Im lucky to go a couple minutes without having to stop or ejaculate. I had been using a concentatration method that had been discussed in some other threads here, I focus on not kegeling and keeping my PCs relaxed. Im confused and very worried about the sudden change, not only for myself but for my relationship, my fiances ex husband had premature ejaculation issues and it took a serious toll on their marriage. I dont want to end up going down that road, any help, advice or thoughts would be greatly welcome and appriciated!

                            hey what you described here is quite common, that the tickle sensation is difficult to disperse. Initially this is the case, but with practice it becomes natural, this cannot be done overnight. If you wait till the tickle is really strong then you waited too long. Reverse kegel will keep the PC from automatically contracting and leading to orgasm when done appropriately. Normal Kegel should still be used to prevent impending orgasm like an emergency brake, but only rarely because when fatigued you cannot control orgasm as well.

                            --> Remember when Pavlov trained a salivation response to a bell? So that when the bell was rung (after being paired with food), eventually dogs would salivate to the bell alone. This is similar: the pleasure of the tickle has been paired many many times with kegels, because this makes one "feel good" by leading to orgasm. Therefore the kegel is continually reinforced. By training the reverse kegel, you are training a new response to pleasure which will prevent the kegel and thus delay ejaculation and give one a measure of control.

                              I do kegels 3 days a week, edge post workout with time allowed.

                                Bher do you include reverse kegals? Many members have found that kegals need to be balanced by reverse kegals.
