Correct.

While injury due to doing kegels, are usually due to lack of conditioning or just causing an imbalance, injury when it does happen is far more commonly standard kegel than reverse. Reverse kegel injury is very rare.

I completely agree with you. All I was saying was I think that straining your body and and pushing really hard while doing reverse kegels is bad advise, and quite frankly unnecessary.Originally posted by Pegasus View PostWhile injury due to doing kegels, are usually due to lack of conditioning or just causing an imbalance, injury when it does happen is far more commonly standard kegel than reverse. Your pelvic floor is like any other group of muscles, tendons or ligaments if you over stretch them too hard you run the risk of hyperextension.

What I think is that to use it in sex , you need to not contract all your body, except if you're not the one moving.
Anyways it's always better to learn to do something than not, so it should be a choice to do very hard reverse kegels or light isolated ones.https://www.pegym.com/forums/penis-e...a-jelqing.html

I still can't figure out this rk. The only way I can ever feel anything is when my abs are flexed and it feels like I could defecate. I can not just move the base of my penis like when I kegal which I can hold very long, making me believe that is why I have premature ejaculation. The bad thing is if I try to rk during sex I don't want to poop the bed ha. Anyone else have trouble with this?

If you feel that way you're pushing way too hard. If you feel like you could defecate then you're doing a back reverse kegel and that wont do much for your premature ejaculation. Did you even read the original post?Originally posted by dongbang View PostI still can't figure out this rk. Hi imac,
Thanks for the great thread. When I first started rk's I had to hold my breath, tense my abs, feel the urge to fart or piss and I couldn't differentiate between front and back. Now I'm at a point where I can isolate front and rear and can focus on 'belly breathing' at the same time.
But would you recommend applying enough pressure that the BC muscle stretches as far as possible, requiring the involvement of the abs. Or apply a lighter stretch where only the lower abdomen pushes out, and gradually build up flexiblitity that way?

I would suggest gradually building up your control and flexibility but doing a harder stretch is OK a long as you're not straining yourself or over stretching the muscle. I would try and stay away from tensing you abs to give you extra force instead if you're going to add a bit more pressure use your diaphragm to push out.(belly breathing)

Yep its like exercising against the will of your body.Originally posted by DarkSide View PostThis makes me feel much better about the RK, the fact that I can chill out while doing them, I will definitely take this approach as opposed to forcing my entire body against its will to do something it doesn't want to do.
Excellent post. Thanks!
Great post a huge amount of info for anyone suffering as I once did with PE

Everyone always says to keep the floor balanced or to switch the balance A BIT, which is true because you need strength for erections and strength to keep involuntary kegels controlled, but I always suggest for people with major prem ejac problems to do reverse kegels ONLY (stop regular kegels completely) for a while to severely fix the imbalance first. The truth is that we all do regular kegels involuntarily all the time throughout the day. That's why most imbalance is heavy on the reg kegel side. Doing an all rev kegel routine for 1-3 months, like I did, gave me great results and trains the body and mind to start heading the right direction, quickly.(no pun intended).
I think EVERYONE should try it. The fact is you can always do regular kegels later whenever you want. You will never know if it can help you if u don't try it.Started MAY 2011 BPEL 5 and a 1/2 inches. EG 5 and a 1/2 inches.

I have cured myself of prem ejac, now I am working on a bigger shlong.

I for one have tried it James for the last month and its going pretty well so far, I'd definitely recommend it to any fellow beginner. I do have a question though for you, imac or anyone else that has experience with rk's though. I'm at a point where I have the conditioning to hold an rk for an extended period of time. But I still have some work to do as far as isolation is concerned. I can hold a rear rk fine, and also a middle/towards front rk. But I'm struggling and don't seem to have the strength in the very front, right at the base of the penis (i.e. the front of the BC). I can't seem to create that expanding sensation, or any sort of feeling there. I can certainly feel it when I front k, but reverse? Nothing in the form of sensation or feeling of movement that I get with the front regular. Do you have any tips for really isolating the front rk? Do I just need to keep practicing?
Edit: Sorry, I should also mention that this is the area where my involuntary spasms occur, even in the face of an rk - where as I can force the rest of the pelvic floor to relaxLast edited by rko; 06-16-2012, 07:35 AM.

I suggest reverse towel raise . Even though you have condition be carefull with load.Originally posted by rko View PostI for one have tried it James for the last month and its going pretty well so far, I'd definitely recommend it to any fellow beginner. @ RKO: do it laying down flat or standing up straight. If you do it sitting down on a chair it won't work and u won't feel the stretch. Your prnis won't jump up like a rev kegel, you will just feel a slight pressure right behind your penis. Try pushing harder, but I think you already do them. It's not a huge physical occurance. during edging and sex just hold a very very light rev kegel. And only do hard long ones at PONR if u wanna stop ejac. Your hardest and best exercise work should happen outside of sex and edging. Be careful. get all your muscles including abs in there.... they need to get strong too because they are stabelizer muscles. Later, isolation will be easier.Started MAY 2011 BPEL 5 and a 1/2 inches. Thanks Pegasus. Seems I can't raise my errection or get any sort of movement lying down with a front rk, where as I can with a k. Guess it's a sign of my imbalance, I'll have to keep practicing and use that as a benchmark.Originally posted by Pegasus View PostI suggest reverse towel raise . @JamesMonroe: Thanks man. I've learnt sitting on a chair is definitely not productive when you're trying to isolate a front rk. I'll keep working on them lying down. Really getting my lower abs around the abdomen involved helps the isolation a great deal.
