      This thread started in 2012, by now retired moderator imac, has some valuable information in it.

      That being a good reason to revive it, and hopefully supplement/help those interested in
      Reverse Kegal Breathing.

      Poor EQ can be a result of muscles that are too tense as well as muscles that are too weak. So if you're unconsciously tensing your muscles in an effort to maintain a good EQ the tension could be impeding proper blood flow or fatiguing the muscles causing a loss of EQ.

          I lose some of the firmness of my erection when I edge or have sex with RK. Is that expected to begin with and will return with time and practice?

              Hi all,
              this is my first post - registered to share my experience with meditative reverse kegels.

              So basically, I'm dealing with PE and I'm 100% sure its due to IKs which are caused by bad masturbation habits. For a while, I've restrained from masturbation and did it only once a week or even less but my performance with GF was so bad (like 1min of intercourse) that I've started to look closer into this issue. Of course if I would maintain my masturbation habit then I would probably still be able to achieve 10mins of mediocre intercourse with medium EQ.

              First I tried exercising kegels which made matters only worse.
              Secondly, I've tried to edge but I didn't see any real progress.
              Third approach was to edge with flesh light but I couldn't last any reasonable amount of time (I would have to go REALLY slow to achieve few minutes inside, my IKs were so terrible)

              After reading this thread and trying it out with flesh light I think my search is over. Today I was able to edge CONSTANTLY for 45 mins in flesh light without major need to stop. Of course I had to decrease tempo once in a while but I was able to maintain the movement. I wasn't furiously thrusting either but as for second time using mRKs inside FL it seems like way to go (first try yesterday took around 15mins, which in FL is good for me anyway!).

              Now to the method which I used:
              1. take a breath (not necessarily deep)
              2. slowly let it out through mouth while counting to 8 thrusts and maintaining RK.
              3. take breath again with relaxed kegels, you don't have to take it slow, I breath in quite fast but maintain thrusting movement

              I know OP was holding RK on breath in, but for me it was more intuitive to hold them while breathing out.
              At some point (after 30mins) I even turned on voices of sex to have some audio stimulation as well.
              EQ was between 7-10 , most of the time it was 7 but nothing concerning as of yet.
              Unfortunately I've ejaculated at the end which wasn't my goal but I've picked up the phone and lost my focus.
              Don't get me wrong, it wasn't hard for me to last this 45mins of moderate trusting, at times I could forget about breathing.

              Tomorrow, I'm repeating this edging routine to see if I will get consistent results but I'm pretty confident in this approach and confident it will translate to sex (I want to try it out during sex once I will be able to do it semi-subconsciously)

                You are effectively doing pe zens method which is often combined with imacs training (usually done out of sex ) .
                I will see if I can find a link .
                A reverse kegel only routine can sometimes cause lowered eq when done over a prolonged period . This is easy to reverse with kegel and the like .

                    Yeah, I agree that a bit lowered EQ is due to RKs but for now I'm not too concerned with this as I can quickly regain EQ while stopping RK.

                    Anyway, again very successful session (my GF is out so its easier to practice):
                    * Passed 1hr mark of pretty much non-stop thrusting with sex audio on.
                    * Lots of time I was thrusting with full speed and sometimes I was able to skip breathing and RKing to regain some of my EQ.
                    * Arousal level was pretty high with lots of precum as I was using lube only two times - upon entering and after 45mins of thrusting.
                    * I was doing standing position and FL was mounted on dick level (same as yesterday)
                    * After 1hr I was sweaty so it wasn't very light session.
                    * I didn't ejaculate at the end.
                    * I was close to PONR about 2-3 times once I stopped to care about breathing + RKing so the conclusion is to be focused on arousal levels.

                    Tomorrow I will try different position - missionary - although for me hardest is always doggy which is pretty much what I've done yesterday and today.
                    I will try to check if it translates to sex over the weekend.

                    For those who think I don't have PE if I'm able to complete times like this; I really have and last 5-6 times I had sex with my GF I came in about 1-2 mins of really slow thrusting with complete stops. I've experienced the same or even worse results once I bought FL so its also not the case that FL is not "doing it for me".

                        I can't understand this sentence:"2. Once you’re comfortable begin to focus on your breathing (slow deep breaths) and on your IN breath push a light reverse kegel and then on your OUT breath relax."

                        does It means that It is necessary push a light reverse kegel ONLY while I am inspiring and NOT also when I am breathing out where my muscle gotta be neutral?

                        ..Pegasus...can you explain it with another easy words?

                          • Most guys will find a rk easier on the in breath . As Imac was talking about establishing an easy and relaxed rhythm of rk most guy would have more success on doing the rk on the in breath.
